Chapter 175 The North's Deadly Magical Forest (1) The Beginning Of The Great Battle

There is a fearsome goblin king, clad in dark armor, with razor-sharp claws and glowing red eyes. It's emitting a dark and menacing aura of blood, and there are six dark goblins with similar dark armor standing behind him like guards.

There is a mysterious and elusive creature, possessing a pair of large and beautiful butterfly wings but with a huge slime as its body. It is leaking a great amount of purple-colored mana which must be illusion and mind magic mana. Flying near it is a beautiful and graceful creature, with delicate wings that sparkle in the sun. I know that one, it's called the Galewing butterfly that is famous for its powerful wind magic.

Not far from them is the Moonlight Butterfly, a nocturnal creature, with wings that shimmer in the moonlight. I've read that it is a symbol of mystery and magic, and is said to bring good luck to those who catch a glimpse of it.

Then there is an army of the Acid ants with the Acid Ant Queen behind them. It's a giant ant queen, with a body covered in corrosive acid. It commands a horde of acidic ants and is known for its brutal strength and cunning tactics.

Then there is also a huge Magma Bear, A giant bear made of molten lava, with a body that emits intense heat. It is a formidable creature, with immense strength and the ability to control fire.

There is also a creature that seems to be a magical elephant with a large Ivory Tusks, and with a body made of shimmering light. It seems to be a peaceful creature, but I could feel the immense nature mana and a great strength from it.

There is also a big golden dog with might resembling a wolf, seeming to be made of shimmering holy mana. Intelligence could be seen from its eyes as it observes its surroundings.

The remaining summoned creatures are a horde of skeleton undead. Their figures are familiar. They seem to be undead hobgoblins and goblin champions judging from their form, I heard that a strong undead could get even stronger than its original strength when it was alive.

There are currently hundreds of them, and there is a single ghostly creature with a body seeming to be made of pulsing darkness as a huge terrifying claw pokes out of its robe. It emits a haunting glow that draws the living towards it, I could feel that my life could get drained if I get too near to him.

The undead army neatly forms a formation. About a hundred of them made a defensive stance surrounding the wagon and my allies, 300 of them stood together with the winter wolves, and the rest of them came to the side of the man together with the ghostly creature that leads them at the front.

Then the creature kneels before Lyan with its skeletal legs, bowing his head as if he is showing his respect towards his master.

"We've received your summons, my lord. Give us your command," It's a heavy and hollow voice, it is as if its voice alone could make a weak person who heard them receive a considerable damage to their soul.

"Good," The man brandishes his huge glaive.

"Time to start the feast," he commanded. The ghastly creature's red light eyes shone as he received the command, then the undead army moved uniformly. All the undead were trained to fight and follow orders, so the 100 undead skeletons immediately formed up into a defensive ring around the wagon, the 300 undead skeletons made an offensive stance to face the coming to the frost undead army, and the remaining 400 undead skeletons brandish their weapons as they are ready to march whenever they should together with the man.

I felt goosebumps as every undead moved in perfect coordination and formation.

"Amazi-"

"Wha- Wait! Hey! Shadow! You stupid horse!" The man shouted frantically as the mighty black horse ran straight at the frost giants alone ahead without waiting for the man to mount him.

"That stupid perverted horse. I'll definitely give you a harsh lesson after this," The man grumbled and started to run. As he run following the horse, the 400 undead skeletons followed him in a uniform formation despite following his speed, and the slime with the butterfly wings followed suit behind him.

As the man with the glaive gave his command, the 400 undead skeletons and the shadow goblin lord charged forward toward the frost giants. The sound of metal clashing against metal echoed through the battlefield as the two armies clashed. The Papilio slime flew overhead, using its powerful mind magic to manipulate some of the frost giants and make them attack each other as it throws acidic liquid at the frost giants.

The aggressive black horse reared up on its hind legs, striking out with its sharp hooves and tearing into the frost giants. Its dark aura seemed to paralyze the frost giants, making them unable to fight back effectively because of its dominating aura.

The man with the glaive was a formidable opponent, his huge weapon cleaving through the frost giants with ease. His movements were graceful and precise, and it was clear that he was a skilled warrior.

The shadow goblin lord was a fierce opponent, its razor-sharp sword and its agile movement slicing through the frost giants with ease. Its dark aura seemed to empower the other undead soldiers, giving them the strength and courage to continue fighting.

The Papilio slime continued to fly overhead, using its powerful mind magic to confuse and distract the frost giants. Its large, beautiful wings seemed to glow with an otherworldly light, adding to the creature's aura of mystery and magic. Some of the frost giants got paralyzed for a moment every time they took a glance at those shining wings.

The aggressive black horse was relentless, striking out with its sharp hooves and tearing into the frost giants with a ferocity that was almost frightening. Its dark aura seemed to make the frost giants hesitate, and its powerful strikes soon weakened the frost giant army. Even though it looks just like a horse that has an irregular size, muscles, and presence, the way it's fighting makes it seems like it is a powerful magic beast instead. Is it a magic beast that even I didn't know?

On the other side, the man with the glaive was a whirlwind of death, his huge weapon cleaving through the frost giants with ease. His movements were graceful and precise, and he seemed to be unstoppable.

As the battle raged on, it became clear that the man with the glaive's army was winning. The frost giants were quickly becoming overwhelmed, and their attacks became slower and less precise.

I then shift my gaze to the wide where the frost serpent appeared before.

The Galewing Butterfly took to the sky, its delicate wings beating against the cold air. The wind magic it possessed was powerful and destructive, capable of breaking through the toughest of armor and shields. The Deadlight, on the other hand, was a ghostly being, its body pulsing with darkness and fear. The mere sight of it was enough to unnerve its enemies and drain their strength. The Magma Bear was a massive creature, its body made of molten lava and its eyes glowing with intense heat. It was a force to be reckoned with, with the ability to control fire and unleash devastating attacks. Those three ran straight to the frost serpent.

The Frost Serpent, with its shimmering blue scales and glowing eyes, was a formidable opponent. It slithered through the air, its massive coils twisting and turning as it prepared to unleash a barrage of icy attacks. The Galewing Butterfly was the first to engage, its wind magic slicing through the air and striking the Frost Serpent. The Serpent reared back, its mouth opening wide to unleash a blast of freezing air, but the Galewing Butterfly was too quick, darting to the side and unleashing another wave of wind magic.

The Deadlight was the next to attack, its dark aura filling the air and striking the Frost Serpent. The Serpent recoiled, its coils contorting as the dark magic flowed through its body. The Magma Bear, sensing an opportunity, charged forward, its body blazing with heat and its claws ready to strike. The Frost Serpent tried to defend itself, but it was no match for the Magma Bear's strength and ferocity. With a roar, the Magma Bear swiped its claws, cutting through the Serpent's scales and leaving a deep gash in its side.

The Galewing Butterfly continued to rain down wind magic on the Frost Serpent, striking it with precision and speed. The Serpent was getting weakened with each passing moment, its scales chipping away and its movements becoming sluggish. The Deadlight, meanwhile, was still unleashing its dark magic, sapping the Serpent's strength and making it more vulnerable to the Magma Bear's attacks. The Magma Bear was relentless, its massive size and strength making it a formidable opponent. The Serpent tried to defend itself, but the Magma Bear's attacks were too fast and too powerful, leaving deep wounds on its side.

The Frost Serpent was becoming desperate, its once-proud coils now slithering on the ground, its breath coming in ragged gasps. It was a shadow of its former self, no longer the fearsome beast it once was. The Galewing Butterfly and Deadlight were tireless, their magic and dark aura striking the Serpent again and again. The Magma Bear was relentless, its claws tearing into the Serpent's scales and leaving deep wounds.

The Serpent was near its end, its once-proud form now reduced to a pitiful and broken creature. The Galewing Butterfly and Deadlight continued their attack, their magic striking the Serpent with unrelenting force. The Magma Bear, meanwhile, was making the final push, its claws tearing into the Serpent's body and unleashing a barrage of fire magic. The Serpent let out a final cry, its body collapsing on the ground, its coils twitching as the life left its body.
