Maybe it was because I woke up early, but I slept through half of my morning classes today.

I knew people were nudging me to wake up, but my sleepiness was overpowering so I kept dozing off.

I finally opened my eyes when I felt hungry. I saw Hinagata next to me staring at me with a faint smile on her face.

“You’re up.”

The last class of the morning had just ended and the classroom was getting noisy.

“What are you looking at?”

I asked, fighting back a yawn, and Hinagata shook her head with a smile on his face.

“No, nothing.”

I guess she was watching my sleeping face.

I think you’d get bored with something like that in five seconds.

“I have some business to attend to today.”

Suguichi came over to say that and then left.

Neither Hinagata nor Uchinokura could think of anything that Sugiuchi needed to do, and both wondered why.

“Shiori’s homemade lunch looks delicious.”

Uchinokura-san said as we began to eat our lunches, taking a peek at mine.

“Yeah, it’s pretty good.”

In contrast to Hinagata, who seemed satisfied with my impression, Uchinokura-san laughed at me.

“So-so.”

“So-so is a win.”

“It’s fine then, isn’t it?”

Yes, yes, Hinagata nodded her head.

I couldn’t imagine Hinagata cooking, so the fact that she made her own lunch was surprising. She also seems to be aware that she is not used to it either.

“But isn’t this the same as before?”

Snap, Hinagata’s hand stopped moving.

“Yeah, I guess so.”

I hadn’t noticed it at all, but now that you mention it, yes, it is.

“It’s yesterday’s leftovers.”

“How much extra do you have?”

Fufufu~, Uchinokura-san laughs.

“I see, I see. I think I know what Shiori is thinking.”

“Eh, what?”

When I asked Uchinokura-san, Hinagata  tensed up next to me as if she was nervous.

It was as if Uchinokura-san and Hinagata had the dynamic of a great detective and a criminal.

“You don’t have anything else in your repertoire, and you don’t want to make something different and fail because someone told you it was good. That’s why you keep making the same thing over and over again, don’t you?”

Hinagata looked away from the grinning detective.

“T-That’s not it…”

I’m pretty sure it was.

Uchinokura-san chuckled, probably thinking the same as me.

I don’t know what Sugiuchi was doing at such a pleasant time of the day when Uchinokura-san is also here.

From the window, I could see the courtyard, and just across the street, the second floor hallway of the special classroom building.

As I casually glanced outside, I saw Sugiuchi walking down the hallway.

This guy, What’s he doing in that place?

“Oh, by the way, you were working on the committee with Honma Konatsu this morning, right?”

“Yeah. Honma was not on duty, though.”

“I apologized to Honma-san.”

“I don’t think Shiori needs to worry about it that much.”

Uchinokura-san gave a dumbfounded smile.

It seemed that Hinagata was bothered that she had given her a hard time at the committee meeting.

“It’s as if both the ‘Sun and Moon’ had come face to face in this school.”

[TN: Sun and Moon was said in English.]

What the h**l is that?

Hinagata seemed to think the same thing, and she nodded her head.

“I meant Sun and Moon.”

“Well, I know that much.”

“The sun is Honma Konatsu. And the moon is…”

Uchinokura-san looked  at Hinagata as if to say something.

“?”

And Hinagata, still unable to guess, tilted her head to the other side.

“Is that what they called you?”

I think it’s a perfect call for personality.

On the opposite side of the school building, Sugiuchi met up with some girls, as if they had been waiting for each other. They started walking somewhere side by side.

That girl…. Honma?

In a friendly manner, they walked into an empty classroom that is not used for lunch breaks- the physics room.

Honma and Sugiuchi?

By errands, do you mean spending your lunch break with Honma…?

As I was wondering about the unusual pairing, Hinagata started to ask me about yesterday.

“…..Is there something wrong with you and S-Sugiuchi-kun,…?”

“What? With Sugicchi? What do you mean by something wrong?”

Hinagata started to get embarrassed.

“… S-something is something.”

Well, she is trying to get alone together with me on the way back.

So, perhaps getting kissed or making a move for coitus by force is the least I must assume out of her I guess.

Ehhh? Uchinokura-san looked up into the air as if thinking back.

“There was nothing special, but…. Oh, by the way, you asked me for Honma Konatsu’s contact information.”

“Why this again….”

I glanced at the physics room where they had disappeared.

“You know, it’s not hard to understand. You can’t help but fall in love with Honma Konatsu.”

“I-Is that so….?”

When Hinagata inquired timidly, Uchinokura-san said as a matter-of-fact.

“Isn’t that what it’s like to have someone other than yourself give you their contact information?”

I shook my head as she spoke and looked at me.

“We don’t really talk about that. I don’t know what it’s really like.”

I’ll have to ask him to find out if it’s really true or if I’m just mistaken.

“That’s just how boys are.”

“I’m embarrassed, you know?”

“You don’t have to say it out loud to know that.”

“There it is, the bad things about girls.”

The kind that says, I can tell by your attitude and mood, so guess what?

They both sighed at the same time though Hinagata’s sigh was immense, though.

“Tonomura-kun’s love sensor isn’t functioning.”

Uchinokura-san said with a chuckle.

“To some degree, it works.”

“Nope–, No No.”

Uchinokura-san made it clear, and Hinagata agreed with her greatly.

How come I’m completely away before I knew it?

“But Sugiuchi–“

I think he likes you, Uchinokura-san. I was about to say that, but then I stopped myself.

Even if I did, I’m sure she’d just say, “Nope–  No No”, in the same tone as before.

Uchinokura-san is quite a formidable opponent, isn’t she, Sugiuchi?

“That guy, heh… Well, at least he has got the looks with him.”

“Is that so?”

Uchinokura-san looked a little happy, as if her prediction was correct. I’m talking about you. You.

“Doesn’t Tonomura-kun have the looks too?”

“I don’t know.”

“Uwaa. You’re not a very interesting person to talk to.”

“Even if you say that…”

“Hahaha. Just kidding. Don’t get mad.”

Unlike most girls, Uchinokura-san is more like a boy.

Because of that, she is very easy to talk to.

“Ahh.”

Uchinokura-san noticed something and stuffed a piece of bread into her mouth, gestured “I’m going,” and left her seat.

What’s going on all of a sudden?

“…….”

Next to her, Hinata pouted her lips.

“Hinagata-san? Hello?”

“Kura-chan is good at talking and it’s fun to talk to her because she has a good taste.”

I thought she was complimenting her, but her tone was full of thorns.

“…… Yeah, well, yeah. What? Are you in a bad mood?”

“Yes.”

You’re not going to deny it?

“Can’t tell you when your love sensor isn’t working, Ryunosuke.”

We are at school, but she’s not calling me Tonomura-kun anymore.

I mean…… we had a random discussion earlier, but what’s a love sensor?!
