I dropped by Hinagata’s house on my way to school; Ayahi told me that she had already left.

“Wait? Did you guys get into a fight?”

“It would have been better if it was a fight. ”

I wanted to apologise, but I didn’t know what to say.

If I had to choose whether I was wrong or not, I would say I wasn’t wrong per se; but if I hurt her then I guess I was in the wrong.

“Just give her a big hug and a kiss and you’re good to go!”

“I can’t do that!”

Hahaha~, Ayahi laughed it off.

“Well, what are you doing this Saturday?”

“Huh? Saturday? Why?”

“Don’t you know? Oh~? Nii-chan hasn’t heard of it?”

After saying goodbye to Ayahi, she nodded her head as I left the house.

Saturday?

DoI have any plans? Or am I just forgetting?

I tried to recall, but I couldn’t think of anything.

When I arrived at the classroom, Hinagata was already in her seat.

“Morning.”

I greeted her fearfully, and she responded with a whisper, “Morning.”

I couldn’t tell whether she was angry, sad, or still in shock.

I was relieved to be able to say the greeting.

We had about fifteen minutes left before the teacher was supposed to arrive.

“…….”

It’s awkward.

I don’t know why I’m sitting next to her… of all people.

Teacher, please come fast!

Well, Hinagata and I have never had any kind of quarrel before.

So, I don’t know how to apologise or how to make up with Hinagata in such a situation.

I mean, was that something that needs to be apologized for or made up for?

It didn’t even develop into a fight though…..

“Hey, what’s with the subtle look on your face?

Sugiuchi, who seemed to have just arrived at school, was walking up to my seat.

“Why are you coming here?”

“I’m just here to say hi. I’m sure you’re just killing time.”

“Don’t come here to kill time.”

That being said, nice work Sugiuchi. You’ve taken my mind off things.

I lightly goop Sugiuchi’s a*s as he tries to sit on my desk.

“Stop it dude.”

“That’s my line.”

“Oh, Hinaga-san, good morning.”

He greets her as usual, and Hinagata returns the greeting as usual.

To Sugiuchi, it’s a normal response.

“What’s going on? Are you guys fighting? Is it true…?”

“It ain’t like that!”

How did this guy know?

“It’s Tonomura’s fault, so apologize.”

“Don’t assume it’s my fault. It’s not like we’re fighting or anything.”

“I’m sure you’re embarrassed because you made some stupid mistake like the DVD you lent me turned out to be p**n?”

It’s possible, but seriously, stop it!

Sugiuchi tapped my shoulder.

“I told you not to go for tanned gals, didn’t I?”

“Don’t talk to me like you know what you’re dealing with.”

Hinagata’s eyes glanced at both of us and were cold enough to freeze us in one place.

Then, with a swoosh, he let go of the desk.

Damn…. I feel like I’m getting even more psychologically distant from her.

“Hinaga-san, it’s fine, relax.”

Sugiuchi said, pointing his thumb at me as if he was following me.

“It’s not that he likes tanned gals, it’s just that tanned gals can work too.”

“You b*****d一”

This guy pretended to follow me and then came to stab me……!

一The worst kind of evil.

Then Hinagata moved her desk further apart.

“Hey, Sir Sugiuchi, please follow up somehow.”

“What, what, you’re asking me to do it after all? Hmmm?”

I’m pissed off now…

“I’ll let Uchinokura-san tell me a little bit about your saga.

“It. Can’t. Be. Helped. Then!”

Sugiuchi was a cash cow.

What’s the saga Sugiuchi is talking about? …Ahh, there’s nothing, huh?

“Hinaga-san, I’m just kidding, I’m not serious about the black gal thing.”

That’s right. That’s it. I wanted something like that, you know.

I’m pretty sure I only recommended it once, but it’s not like I’m into black gals-only.

“I would say it’s one of a wide range.”

That’s a bit misleading, Sugiuchi!

“Girls are sometimes in an erotic mood, right?”

“Why the h**l are you asking her this in the morning, man?”

I couldn’t help but interrupt him.

The blushing Hinagata froze.

“B-By the way, when did you…?”

“Stop sexually harassing her, Scumuchi.”

Hinagata faltered and said covertly.

“Well──”

“You don’t have to say anything!”

I said.

“Gethsemane, go back to your seat.”

“What the h**l, I’m trying to ask you something you can’t ask anyone else.”

You’ve already changed the subject of that.

After booping and shouting, Sugiuchi went back to his seat.

The teacher hadn’t arrived yet so the classroom was filled with noise, but between Hinagata and I, there was nothing but silence.
