And if you find out that Liu Siyu isn’t your sister, you can’t exact revenge. Also, her father and brother are both working in the government. You can’t go and cause trouble for them.”

Fang Xiaonuan pursed her lips. She did think her husband would be capable of doing that, but she did not dare to admit it. She would definitely get in trouble if she said that.

Ji Lingchen lifted the blanket. Seeing that he was about to leave, Fang Xiaonuan quickly asked, “Where are you going?” She was a little angry. Why did he want to leave her the moment he heard the name ‘Xiaoyu’?

Ji Lingchen looked at his lower body. “I’m going to take a cold shower. Why don’t you help me?”

Fang Xiaonuan’s face instantly flushed red. She lowered her head, not daring to look up at her husband. She could not see anything when he was lying under the blanket just now, and now she was embarrassed.

On the way, Mr. Liu called to ask when they would be arriving.

“Dad,” Liu Siyu complained. “Brother won’t let me drive. He’s driving the whole way himself.”

Liu Siyan said, “I’ll take a break at the rest stop later. Don’t even think about driving today.”

“What happened?” Mr. Liu asked with concern. “Did you two quarrel again?”

Mr. Liu said, “Xiaoyu, you guys will be tired after driving for so many hours straight. You can stop at a rest stop for a while. Don’t worry. You must drive safely.”

They stopped at a rest stop and Liu Siyan went to buy some more snacks. His younger sister trailed after him. She talked a lot and because she kept talking, he was no longer sleepy.

Liu Siyan took the phone from his sister and looked at the map that had not been updated. “I’ll go down and ask. You stay in the car and don’t move.”

Liu Siyu watched her brother get out of the car.

After Liu Siyan got out of the car, he found a fruit stall by the road. As he picked some fruit, he asked the owner for directions.

In the end, he bought some fruits and got the answers.

Liu Siyu looked at the sky and puzzled out her brother’s intentions with a smile. “You must’ve pitied the stall owner. It’s almost dark, and she’s so old, yet she still has to set up a stall on such a cold day. You must’ve felt bad, so you went to buy fruit, right?”

Liu Siyan’s lips curved into a smile. He closed the car door and glanced at the little girl beside him. “You’ve learned how to guess what I’m thinking.”

Liu Siyu raised her head proudly. There were a lot of tonics in the car for their grandparents, so he had not needed to buy fruits. Her brother was a police officer who served the people and could not bear to see the people suffer.

“Brother, you’re so great. As your sister, I’m ashamed.” Liu Siyu picked up an ugly orange, peeled it, and ate it.
