Chapter 26 - 23:Happiness disappears,New task 1

Long Ren had finished cultivating and so he opened his eyes to see the two girls looking at him with curiosity. They were not afraid of him but their eyes showed gratitude.

"You are awake. That's good. So now let's proceed to my mistress place." he said as he got up from the ground.

"Sir! We ---are grateful." said a shy Lan. she was obviously smitten by his beauty. He's so handsome that men would drool for him and instantly turn gay.

"Yes, I'm also thankful too--may---" Li Hua was cut short as Long Ren cast a sleeping spell on both of them and threw them into his storage pocket.

"Job's done. Now I have to head to mistress to start my weird punishment" he said with a sigh and vanished.

The two sworn brothers from the arrow sect were so tired of being chased by the dragon bone whip that they immediately collapsed to the ground.

"Wow! My whip caught you. A gentleman never goes back on his words and so I shall fulfill my promise"Ju Wei said in a righteous manner.

Gentleman? If someone like you is a gentleman what does that make us? Man! A gentleman is also generous and forgiving but you don't display any of these qualities.

"Just obediently lie on your belly and say 'sweet love' then you'll see."Ju Wei ordered.

The two brothers knew there was no negotiating with this evil spirit and so they obeyed even if they were very unwilling.

They then closed their eyes and braced themselves for the pain but after a minute, there was no pain.

What's this now? Is this another trick of Ju Wei? Can't he just kill them?

They both opened their eyes and found a piece of paper near them. It read

"To be continued. My Master just summoned me."-Ju Wei

"To be continued? Brother, we're doomed. How are we even going to show our faces to sect leader?" one of them asked. He had gone bad from Ju Wei's 'game'.

"Brother, I suggest we go to our sect and inform sect leader first. He'll know what to do." the other advised.

"Yes, Chen. I agree"

So, both rested there for a short while before using the teleportation hairpin that the other guy whose hair had not been burnt by the dragon bone whip.

No matter what, from this moment life would never be easy for them and also if they survive, they'd never be greedy or look down on even a dirty old beggar.

Theresa helped herself to the red wine set before her.

"It's good. Very good" she complimented giving a thumbs up.

"Now that mistress thirst has been quenched, I can fully answer your questions. This shapeshifter is your present and real cheat. With this, so long as you have enough money in your bank account from your previous world, whatever you want you'll get. Ranging from food to jewelry, precious stones, clothes, weapons, etc" the automated voice Drizelle explained

Theresa nodded her head.

"I like it. I have so much in my account so can I start summoning now?" she asked.

There was some sparkle in her eyes. She could get whatever she wants with the money in her account.

Now she's more than grateful to her parents who were spoiling her with so much money.

Oh! How much she missed them!

"Host.you cannot really summon but order," said Drizelle.

"Order?--ok--can I order for--"

She was interrupted by Drizelle.

"When I said anything I meant it. You can only order things but not persons. So long as you order for things there is no problem." said Drizelle.

"I don't understand--"

"Host, you long for your idol, Kim Tae Hyung but I tell you, my dear host, you cannot summon a human nor return to your world until you become immortal. You have 5 minutes left to order whatsoever you want before the system shuts down," said Drizelle.

"What do you mean by shut down?"

Theresa was confused.

"You currently haven't even opened your meridians say less of sense qi---"

"Wait! You mean I'll need to sense chicken in this ice land?"

"You have 3 minutes left to order"

"You---i--"

"2 minutes left and finally shutting down. Host, the system shall recharge itself and awake from slumber when you become a foundation builder. See ya"Drizelles' voice faded and the wristwatch disappeared along with all the comforts in the ice room.

Now Theresa was sitting on the cold floor with only the chair Ren left behind and clothes and jewelry along with the creaky old bed of the deceased concubine with the scroll atop it.

"Heavens why me?"Theresa shouted.

Long Ren appeared in time to see her like this.
