Long Ren could not believe his eyes.

This weak,black-bellied Lu Wei that he wants dead at all cost is actually his soulmate?

Seeing that he was gone, Theresa's heart finally calmed down.

"Meimei, you can open your eyes now. He's gone"Theresa said

Lu Wei slowly opened her eyes and for sure, just as Theresa had said, Long Ren was indeed gone.

"Jiejie, i'm still alive?" she asked in bewilderment.

"Yes, that's why you can still see me"Theresa replied.

"Jiejie, but how...i mean..the green fire was clearly coming for me, right? How then am I not mere ash? Did you stop him?"Lu Wei asked again.

"You ask too much Meimei. Forget about such matter"Theresa casually replied.

"Jiejie, i need to know. Please, tell me"Lu Wei insisted.

She knew Long Ren well enough.

If not for her Jiejie Long Ren would have killed her long ago but now his green fire did not harm her. She was also sure that it was very close to eliminating her before she closed her eyes resigning to fate.

There was no way Demon Lord Long Ren would take back his green fire nor has there ever been any record of it.

Why then is she still whole?

Theresa did not say another word as she quickly closed the door.

"Jiejie is a bully"Lu Wei complained and then closed her eyes again trying her best to recall what really happened.
