Chapter 36: Aaron Saint is Mine 2

''So, you slept with Josh and intentionally let me visit you and saw everything?'' Aaron Saint asked.

''Yes, I know I was really a bitch and I still am because if I weren't I wouldn't be shameless enough to come to you for help after what I did to you. I'm sorry Aaron''.

''So, your grandma really has a grudge against my grandpa and wants to destroy my family?'' Aaron Saint chuckled.

''Yes, from what I could pick up from Rowena last night when she came to me. She is really determined to have you and that means she is willing to do anything''.

''I see. I will help you but will you be able to handle everything on your own? Where is Josh, is he not your boyfriend?'' Aaron Saint asked and studied Liyah Myers' expression.

''We are having some problems because of the issue with Saint Hotel. He doesn't trust me in addition to that'' Liyah Myers said sincerely and Aaron Saint smiled meaningfully.

"Anyways, that is none of my business. I am helping you because I think is unfair to have what you've worked hard for taken away from you'' Aaron Saint added.

''Thank you, Aaron. I won't forget this'' Liyah Myers said and felt her heart calming down.

''First, I need information on all the shareholders. You need to also find out how much shares your grandma and Rowena Myers have in total''.

''I already did that. Everything you will need to know about the company is in this pen drive'' Liyah said and placed the pen-drive on the table and Aaron picked it.

''I will have a look at it tonight and get back to you tomorrow, let's meet at my office at 10:00AM'' Aaron Saint said and picked the pen drive.

''Alright''.

''Be safe and don't let your movements be noticed. I'm sure you will have people tailing you''. Aaron Saint warned Liyah Myers and the latter nodded her head.

''Okay, then, I will leave''. Liyah Myers looked at the library August Maijune entered and smiled before going out.

Aaron Saint closed the door after sending off Liyah Myers. He went to the library and found August sound asleep with her head on the table.

He smiled and lifted her up princess style to her room.

Aaron Saint put her on the bed and turned to go and August Maijune held unto his hand not letting go. Aaron Saint knelt towards her and brushed her hair as her breathing steady. She felt asleep again and he left and went to his study room.

Aaron Saint put in the pen drive and look at the information on the shareholders. There were 20 shareholders with each having about 10% shares to 15% shares of the entire 150% shares. If he calculated then it meant that Liyah Myers was the current shareholder with the most shares of about 45% shares but, her grandma had about 25% shares and Rowena had 5% shares. Another 10% shares were in an unknown person's name; that person was Aaron Saint.

He had bought the shares before he found out about Liyah's cheating. If Liyah's grandma wanted to take over the company, she would need about 45 to 55% shares to win Liyah Myers over and Aaron Saint was sure she had made her move on the shareholders already.

Looking at the information included about Liyah's grandma, Aaron Saint could tell the old lady was a shrewd and sinister person who would keep people as long as they were beneficial to her. These kind of people, Aaron Saint had dealt with before and was no stranger to their tactics.

As they saying went ''if you want to take down a wicked person; then you must be a step ahead of them''. With the number of years, he had been a businessman, if he could not take a mere old lady down then he was not worthy of being the young Master of the Saint Group.

Aaron Saint smiled and picked his phone and made a call. This person he was calling was his partner, the first youngest man of the D-City to have attained the position of a major superintendent of D-City's military base army. His name was Leo Martins. Aaron Saint and Leo Martins together with Dr. Kash were childhood friends.

When the call went through Aaron Saint heard a man's voice that sounded so beautiful and voices of women at the background. ''Let's meet tomorrow at 14:30PM''.

The man frowned and replied ''fuck, how can you call and ask for a meeting without even greeting me? Aaron Saint, do you even still think of me?''

''No, I don't. Why should I think of you when you're alive?'' Aaron Saint said playfully over the phone.

''Whatever, if you want to meet me, bring that little girl along and introduce her to me''. Leo Martins said.

''Not even in a thousand years' time, bye''

Aaron Saint hung up before the man could even say another word. He could only imagine the annoyed look the man would give. Aaron Saint was sure he would throw a tantrum tomorrow complaining about how he only called him out when he need something.

NEXT DAY.

SAINT GROUP.

PRESIDENT'S OFFICE.

Aaron Saint closed the document file in his hand and looked at how Liyah Myers was nervously on the couch tapping her heels on the floor and fidgeting with her hands.

He sighed and spoke to her ''at this rate, you're going to end up burrowing a hole in my office, stop being nervous already''.

''Aaron, tell me already, what do you plan to do?'' Liyah Myers asked not the least comforted at all.

This morning while she was preparing to come here, the old lady suddenly called and asked for her presence. That was the first time the old lady had called Liyah Myers in the past 6 years. She was the one always doing the calling. She couldn't help but be nervous.

''What my plans are? Well, that is for me to know and for you to find out. You said the old lady asked you to meet her? Go and meet with her'' Aaron Saint said daringly but it somewhat made Liyah Myers feel better.

''I should go and meet her? What if she does something to me? You have no idea how wicked she can be, Aaron''

''So what? You are the one who is going to emerge as the winner. Where is the confident and arrogant Liyah that I know? You're not going to let people boss you around, right? You are the one who does the bullying, not the other way round. Have you forgotten so soon who you are?'' Aaron Saint asked and looked at Liyah Myers

''I know, right?'' Liyah Myers chuckled ''I am always the one doing the bullying, why am I suddenly been a coward? The old lady really gets into my skin with her tricks''

''Raise your chin up and meet her with confidence. Whatever she says, don't succumb to defeat and leave the rest to me. Since you came to me for help, I won't let you down. I have studied the files in the pen drive. The shareholders' meeting is in two days' time, I will be able to deal with those useless and hungry shareholders by then''

''Okay''. Liyah Myers felt reassured and smiled.

YEAH! CLUBHOUSE

PRIVATE ROOM.

Aaron Saint pushed opened the door and entered and saw Leo Martins seated on the couch with a drink in hand.

Leo Martins looked at him saying ''why is the girl? Why did you come alone?''

''I told you, I wasn't bringing her to a place like this''. Aaron Saint sat across him and poured himself a glass of wine.

''Do you have any idea how extremely busy I am? Shoot, why did you ask for me?'' Leo Martins asked as he picked his glass of wine.

''I want you to do a good deed for your future wife''. Aaron Saint sipped his drink calmly after saying that.

Leo Martins almost choked on his wine and looked at him in shock saying ''fuck!! What are you saying man? You know I don't do wives or girlfriends and you're even mentioning a wife? No, whatever it is you want me to do, the answer is no''.

''Are you sure your answer is really a no?'' Aaron Saint relaxed on the couch and looked at him calmly and lazily.

''Are you daring me?'' Leo Martins asked back.

''Well, not exactly. But, your old man happened to also call me this morning. He was going on bitterly about how much of a Playboy you are. He was really worried that he might die before he got the chance to see you get married or bring him a grandchild and well…as a good buddy, I promised him that I will get you a wife. So, he said he would give me anything I wanted if I really got you a wife…?''

Leo Martins glared at Aaron Saint so hard saying ''are you threatening me, Aaron Saint?''

''No, not at all. We are friends, do we need threats to work things out?'' Aaron Saint said and smiled at Leo Martins.
