Chapter 59: Mai's Darkness 2

Name:Love The Psycho Author:Purplebride
The Dumpster was a popular alley in District B of D-City. Its name wasn't derived from the fact that it was the main disposal place for waste in D-City. It was a name derived from the real name 'doper gangster hub' but to make it less suspicious, the people who lived there and belonged to the gang gave it the name Dumpster. This way, the government or security forces wouldn't find it as a hub for the underworld. In short, it was used to misled the people who did not belong there.

During the time that Mai's mother Laura Louis Marco was the queen of the underworld, the dumpster was popular and she made friends from amongst them. These people shouldn't be affiliated with Lorca's gang because they were different people and hated each other. It was Laura Louis Marco who wanted them to become one and hence tried to bring them together but failed when she died unfortunately.

The dumpster was now the main base camp for all kinds and sort of illegal businesses. Anyone could get killed and no one would say a word about it. Nobody cared. The police arrested their leader once but he was released for lack of evidence.

That was the kind of place the Dumpster was. They often fought, harmed and killed one another but when the police got involved, no one would come out to say a word. They protected each other in their own way.

It took Aaron and the rest about 30 minutes to finally get there but the alley was silent like it hadn't been used for a long time. That was because, every one of the gang members were busy mourning the death of their boss second in command and five other members.

An hour before they got there, a fight had issued between them and a young girl. The young girl was walking in the alley alone seemingly weak and harmless or so they thought. The girl was young and beautiful and the moment she entered the alley all the men stopped their chit-chatting and focused on her.

She walked up to the middle of the alley and their second in command noticed her and called her but she refused so he asked his men to bring the little kitten to him.

Mai was dragged against her will to the man. She warned the man to let her go but he laughed it off and told her to be his woman to which Mai refused and turned to walk away making the man angry.

He had women at his beck and call, this was the first time a woman rejected him, that too in his tuff. This was something he couldn't accept. He challenged Mai to a fight saying she would only be allowed to live if she could beat him to death.

He shouldn't have challenged her because at that moment the psychopath in Mai was already awakened, hungry for blood. When he finished saying those words, Mai laughed and told the man's men to prepare a coffee and a grave because they were going to bury someone that night.

At first they laughed it off. How could a little girl speak such words? They were the real deal and thought they should teach the little kitten how to obey. Little did they know that the fight between the little girl and their second in command wouldn't even last two minutes.

When the man stood up, Mai being a scientist studied him up and down and found his vital points where she could hit. As they man walked closer, Mai smirked and stood still waiting for the man to attack first. She didn't want to me the one to attack first so she waited.

The men at the alley including the beggars all gathered to watch the scene. They hailed their second in command and showered him with praises. The man felt empowered the more he was praised and said to Mai 'little girl, if you get down on your knees right now and beg me, I will spare you your life'.

Mai laughed and looked at him condescendingly replying 'I never said I wanted to beg you. All my life, I have never begged anyone before and I'm not going to do that now'.

Mai's statement made the man to spit blood and said angrily 'then don't blame me for not been courteous'

The man immediately advanced and charged against Mai. Mai studied his movements and knew how he was going to move towards her and swiftly dodged him. Afterwards, she held his hand and twisted him around and when the man fell down, Mai immediately sat on his back and used her elbow to hit hard on the man's spinal cord weakening him and then turned him to face her.

The man didn't give up even in his weak state and tried to grasp Mai's neck but instead hit her head. That one act made Mai angry and she hit his face repeatedly while murmuring 'my head means a lot to me you, idiot. How dare you hit my head?'

The gang members saw everything that happened and while some were terrified, some rushed forth to beat Mai resulting in her killing five more of their men. The beggars saw the murderous look in the girl's eyes and ran away.

The girl's face was bloody the time she finished the fifth one. One beggar who was crippled wasn't able to run hence he hid at a corner praying that the girl wouldn't see her.

Mai stood up and turned to go, locking eyes with the beggar and gave him an eerie smile making the beggar to start pleading with her 'please, don't kill me'.

Mai smiled and walked to him saying 'say, you're already this way; even God might not forgive me if I killed you'.

'Huh?' The beggar was speechless.

'Mister, I want you to stay here. Some people will come. I want you to give them something for me, okay?' The beggar nodded his head nervously.

Mai sat on the chair the second in command was using and opened her diary and started writing. She finished and tore it off and gave to the beggar adding 'make sure you give this to them. We are playing hide and seek, if you don't give this to me, I might just come back for your neck. Do you understand what I just said?'

The beggar nodded and took the letter from Mai and she stood up to go and saw the men who ran away returning with a whole mob of people. 'Miss, you should run, they're coming for you'. the beggar told me.

Mai smiled and cussed before running away 'shit'. The men gave chase as soon as they saw the girl running and the beggar covered himself with a dirty blanket.
