Chapter 68: The danger lurking in the dark 2

Liyah Myers slapped her mouth. Since when had she become this perverted? She shook her head and looked up meeting Leo's gaze.

Leo Martins looked at her strange behaviour saying ''what's wrong with you? Your face is red, are you sick?'' Leo asked reaching forth to touch her forehead.

Liyah Myers froze at that moment and blushed hard. Leo Martins touched his own forehead comparing their temperature adding ''you don't have a fever''.

Liyah Myers stepped back and brushed his hand off saying ''I'm fine. What are you going to make?'' Liyah Myers asked changing the topic as she went to sit at the dining table.

''Pancake, I saw some banana and green vegetables in the fridge''. Leo Martins said and turned back to pick a container of flour.

''Then, I will help you cut the vegetables. Which ones should I cut?'' Liyah Myers getting up from the chair.

''Sit down and relax. Let me do the cooking''. Leo Martins held her hand and sent her back to the chair. Liyah Myers smiled and sat back watching him as he busied himself in the kitchen.

Meanwhile outside the estates.

Rowena Myers got down from her car and walked towards the CCTV camera with a car spray. Someone suddenly pulled her to a corner and covered her mouth. Rowena Myers looked up and saw Josh Saint ''Josh, what are you doing here?'' she asked surprised.

''Are you simply stupid without any brains? How could you even think to come to this place?" Josh Saint asked angrily as he pulled her to the car and they got in.

''Liyah is staying with Aaron Saint, did you know that? I am going to kill that slut once and for all''. Rowena Myers said through gritted teeth angrily.

''Before you do that, let me warn you. Now is not the time to act rashly. One mistake and you will be dead. Do you think I don't know Liyah is staying here? I know that and I want to kill her too but now is not the time''. Josh Saint told Rowena Myers.

''Why is now not the time? I heard from the internet that Aaron Saint is out of the country on a business trip. That means nobody is there to protect her now''. Rowena Myers said.

''He is on a business trip but do you know who is Liyah's backer now? It is not just only Aaron Saint. Do you know Leo Martins?'' Josh Saint asked her.

''Leo Martins? The family running D-City's military camp base? The Martins' family?' Rowena Myers said as a vague picture of Leo Martins crossed her mind. ''He was also at the shareholders meeting a year ago''.

''Yes, that same person and he is closed to Liyah. Do you think you can escape freely after you harm Liyah? Is going to be impossible. That man is ruthless and by attempting to harm Liyah, you will let every single one of our plans go to waste''.

''What about August Maijune? I already found out she is in coma at Kash Family Hospital. That girl is a psycho; you have no idea what I had to endure at that place because of that girl'' Rowena Myers lamented.

''Your grandma is coming out with a grand plan. When the time is right, we will be able to fight Aaron Saint and take everything that the Saint family has. Before then, you have to just be an obedient girl and stay by myself. Do you understand?''

Josh Saint said and pulled Rowena Myers close to himself and gave her a deep kiss. ''How about we do some dirty things here before we go back home?'' Josh Saint told Rowena Myers and pushed her face down to his crotch. Rowena Myers reluctantly unbuckled his belt removing his bulged size to suck.

Leo Martins finished cooking and served the pancake into two plates and sent to the table. Liyah Myers stood up and walked to the fridge saying ''I like pancake with juice''. Liyah Myers removed a jug of fresh juice and took two glasses and returned to the table.

Leo Martins looked at her and chuckled. Liyah Myers put the glasses down and poured the juice into them. She finished and sat across Leo Martins ''try it, you won't be disappointed''. Liyah Myers urged him on.

''Are you sure this combination won't hurt my stomach? I have a very sensitive stomach'' Leo Martins said as he cut into his pancake.

''Try it, it won't hurt at all. But if it does, I will take responsibility''. Liyah Myers said and sipped her juice.

Leo Martins smirked and sipped the juice as he ate the pancake. He frowned and looked at Liyah Myers "this feels weird'' he said.

''Is because you're trying it for the first time. You will thank me later on for showing you such a delicacy''. Liyah Myers smiled.

''Is good to see you smile. You should smile more, makes you even more beautiful''. Liyah Myers choked on her juice and coughed bulging her eyes at him. Leo stood up and patted her back handing her a tissue.

''Thank you''. Liyah Myers said and took a sip of water.

''Is it that surprising enough to make you choke? I only said something simple and obvious''. Leo Martins said and sat back. Liyah Myers looked away avoiding his gaze and ate silently. Leo Martins didn't say anything again. it looked like he had to do something about her self-confidence.

After eating, they went to sit in the hall. Liyah Myers looked at the time that was close to midnight and said ''I'm really sorry. It seems I was oversensitive after seeing my cousin that all sorts of images came to my mind. This place has the best security; she wouldn't dare to come here''. Liyah Myers said.

''If you're sorry, then, why don't you do something for me?'' Leo Martins looked at Liyah Myers as he spoke.

''Something…like what?'' Liyah Myers asked unsurely.

''Why do you look so nervous? I won't ask you to do something out of the line for me, even though I want to'' Leo Martins added the last few words while looking at her reaction.

Liyah Myers flushed and looked at the floor again ''why don't you ever look at me when you're speaking to me?'' Leo Martins asked suddenly making Liyah Myers to look up at him.

''I…'' Liyah Myers closed her mouth without completing her sentence.

''Liyah, what am I to you?'' Leo Martins asked and Liyah Myers clasped her hands together nervously. ''Answer me, Liyah''

''I…will you like some wine? I will bring the box I bought out''. Liyah Myers stood up changing the subject and walked hurriedly into her room. Leo Martins looked at her and stood up following her into the room.
