Chapter 21 - Remembering Your Favor

Qin Ran knew Li Na was mocking him. He took the document without saying a word.

Li Na knew that Qin Ran was at a loss because of this. She smiled and said, "Sorry to trouble you." He then turned around and returned to his seat, starting to pack up his things and prepare to return home.

Finally, Qin Ran was done with his work and went back to his work. He let out a long sigh of relief, stretched his back, and prepared to pack up and go home.

Looking at the time, it was already around 11 PM.

After punching in the card and leaving the company, Qin Ran passed by the place where Li Na and her men had blocked her last time.

The alley was not very long, but because there were only a few street lamps far away, the lighting was very dim. It was almost midnight, and the brazen Qin Ran actually felt a sense of fear from the bottom of his heart.

She walked faster.

When they were about to reach the end of the alley, a figure suddenly flashed from behind and hugged Qin Ran.

This caused Qin Ran to be stunned for a moment. She then realized that she had met a pervert.

In order to protect himself, Qin Ran threw punches and kicks at the people behind him. Although Qin Ran was a girl, it was obvious that he didn't have much strength behind him. He couldn't bear Qin Ran's fierce punches and kicks and immediately let go.

Just as Qin Ran was about to run, he heard a familiar voice.

"Your attacks are really heavy."

Gu Lingfeng?

Qin Ran immediately recognized Gu Lingfeng's voice and stopped, turning his head to look behind him.

"Why are you here?" Qin Ran really didn't understand why Gu Lingfeng would try to kidnap him in the middle of the night while pretending to be a 'pervert' on the road. Was something going on in his head?

On the other hand, Gu Lingfeng was still feeling the pain from Qin Ran's punches and kicks, "Why did you get off work so late?"

Qin Ran didn't say anything. Although she didn't expect Gu Lingfeng to care for her so much, she didn't say anything. She just walked forward and asked, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." Gu Lingfeng raised his head and looked at her, "I'll take you to eat something."

It was good that he didn't say anything, but once he said it, Qin Ran really felt a little hungry.

She nodded.

At this time, Gu Lingfeng had also come to his senses. He led Qin Ran to a beef noodle restaurant and sat down.

"Two bowls of beef noodles, one bowl of cilantro and no spring onion." Gu Lingfeng glanced at the menu and passed something important to the waiter.

"Alright." The waiter nodded and went into the kitchen.

Qin Ran was stunned as he watched the man's swift movements.

He still remembered his preferences?

After the steaming hot beef noodle soup was served, the two of them did not say anything as they continued to eat their own bowls of noodles.

Neither of them spoke on the way home. Gu Lingfeng wanted to speak, but when he saw Qin Ran's expressionless face, he kept his mouth shut.

After the two of them walked silently all the way to his house, Gu Lingfeng opened the door.

Unexpectedly, Fu Jingyi was sitting on the sofa waiting for Gu Lingfeng to come home.

When Fu Jingyi saw that it was Gu Lingfeng and Qin Ran who opened the door and walked in, her expression turned ugly.

Although Fu Jingyi was very unhappy with the two of them, she still forced out a smile, "Lingfeng, you're back?"

Gu Lingfeng nodded, and without a word, turned around and returned to his room.

Just as Qin Ran was about to turn around and return to his room, Fu Jingyi called out to him.

"Ran Ran, I've prepared a bowl of soup. Would you like some?" Fu Jingyi's face still had that harmless smile, but it made Qin Ran feel very uncomfortable and even a little disgusted.

"No need." Qin Ran rejected Fu Jingyi's "good intentions". When he wanted to turn around and leave, he was stopped once again.

Although Qin Ran knew that there was no problem with Fu Jingyi's soup, she still pushed it away instinctively.

She didn't expect Fu Jingyi to directly throw the soup on the ground.

Before Qin Ran could react, Fu Jingyi's expression changed. He was on the verge of tears.

The sound of the broken bowl did not cause Gu Lingfeng to laugh. After hearing the commotion, he walked out of his room, seeing the broken pieces on the floor along with the spilled soup, he frowned and said, "What's going on here?"

What Qin Ran didn't expect was that Fu Jingyi actually cried out loud.

Gu Lingfeng frowned and looked at Qin Ran.

Qin Ran felt a bit helpless when he saw Fu Jingyi clearly trying to frame him.

When she saw Gu Lingfeng's gaze, she spread out her hands. "That's right, I was the one who did it. What about it?"

These words not only alarmed Gu Lingfeng, but also surprised Fu Jingyi.

While the two of them were still in shock, Qin Ran had confidently returned to his room and shut the door with a bang.

This sudden action stunned the two of them.

After Qin Ran woke up in the morning, he went out after washing up. He was too lazy to see Fu Jingyi's annoying face anymore.

As soon as he arrived at the company, he heard that there was a program reporting meeting today. All of his colleagues in the department were preparing for it.

As soon as Qin Ran sat down, his colleague handed him a proposal, "Ran, I'm running out of time. Can you help me fix this mistake?"

Qin Ran didn't refuse her. He nodded and accepted it.

After flipping through it, Qin Ran immediately felt that something was wrong.

This proposal was obviously written by him after working overtime last night, so why did it become Li Na's signature now?

Qin Ran could no longer control his anger. He took the plan and walked towards Li Na.

Walking up to Li Na's table and looking at her smiling face, Qin Ran became even angrier. She threw the documents on the table and asked, "What do you mean?" I was the one who wrote this proposal, so why did it become your signature now? "

Li Na felt disdain towards Qin Ran's anger. She quickly asked, "What proof do you have that you wrote this proposal?"

Hearing Li Na's roguish reply, Qin Ran didn't want to waste any more time with her and directly went to the manager's office.
