Chapter 88 - Kidnap His Future Granddaughter-in-law

Li Qin Yao rubbed the space between her brows as she watched the two left. Then, with a smile on her face, she went to every customer to apologize for the disturbance that the two women had caused.

Of course, after she had promised that everyone would get a ten percent off and free ice cream for dessert, everyone had a big smile on their face.

Once she had gone to every table, Li Qin Yao turned to Zhang Yu Ying and smiled. "Thank you for helping me earlier. We have met once before. You are… Zhang Yu Ying, right?"

Zhang Yu Ying had a bright smile on her face. "Sister. You remember my name!"

Facing Zhang Yu Ying's energetic character, Li Qin Yao was affected by her smile. "Well. Of course. But, what are you doing here?"

"Oh…" Zhang Yu Ying trailed off. She was not expecting that question.

Not long ago she had heard from her grandfather that her future sister-in-law had a cafe in B City. It was only last night that she had dug out the location from Wei Jun Hao. She decided to come over and look around, but then, she happened to witness two shameless women trying to create trouble for Li Qin Yao.

"Right," Zhang Yu Ying snapped her fingers. "I heard from my grandfather that you had a cafe here. Since I was around B City, I decided to drop by and buy something for grandfather. He did say the food he had the last time here was really good."

"Did you get what you ordered yet?"

Zhang Yu Ying tilted her head down when she realized that her lies were about to be exposed. "No. Not yet. I-I was thinking of surprising grandfather, but I stared at the menu for too long and still could not decide on what to order for him." her voice gradually became lower as she spoke.

"Then, should I placed the order for you?" Li Qin Yao said. "I still remember that your grandfather tried the last time he came over."

Hearing what Li Qin Yao had said, Zhang Yu Ying nodded her head. Soon, Li Qin Yao called one of the waiters and placed an order.

"I have placed the takeaway order for your grandfather. It shouldn't take them too long to long to prepare them."

Zhang Yu Ying held Li Qin Yao's arms before she could turn around and leave. "Sister, if you're free, why don't you come along with me to Y City and deliver this meal to my grandfather. He would be happy to see you."

Li Qin Yao hesitated. She recalled that the last time, Zhang Jing had said that he had not seen his granddaughter for years. Now that she had returned, naturally, Grandfather Zhang would want to spend his time with his grandchildren, right?

"You haven't been to our company before right?" Zhang Yu Ying said.

As she thought about that adorable grandfather, her lips curved into a smile. It was then that she remembered that she had not met with Grandfather Zhang and thank him for his help. If the Zhang Group did not come forth and cooperate with QL Group, then she would have a hard time to find another investor.

"I haven't," Li Qin Yao said. "Well, alright. I'll go with you."

Zhang Yu Ying's eyes brightened up. Then, she let out a loud gasp as if she had remembered something important.

"What's wrong?"

"Sister, I just remember that my brother is in the company too. Maybe we should bring him something for lunch too. When he was busy with work, he tends to forget to eat his lunch."

Hearing that, Li Qin Yao felt a tug in her heart. Anyway, because of their cooperation, Zhang Yu Han had to spend more time to study a bit about real estate. Thinking of it, Li Qin Yao nodded and instructed the waiter to prepare another portion for Zhang Yu Han.

Almost half an hour later, Zhang Yu Ying was driving back to Y City while Li Qin Yao sat shotgun after Zhang Yu Ying had suggested going together. Anyway, Zhang Yu Ying had driven to B City, and Li Qin Yao was planning to take public transport to return home.

The two of them chatted a bit and Li Qin Yao thought that Zhang Yu Ying's cheerful personality was refreshing. The two siblings, Zhang Yu Han and Zhang Yu Ying was the opposite. But still, she could see that the two of them had a great relationship.

Because the traffic was smooth, it took them less than half an hour to arrive. Zhang Yu Ying parked her car in the basement and dragged Li Qin Yao on the top floor to visit her grandfather. As the receptionist had been informed that Zhang Yu Ying would show up at the company soon, no one came forward to stop them.

Just as they had arrived at the top floor, Zhang Yu Ying placed a finger at her lips as she looked at both Li Qin Yao and Assistant Huo, signaling both of them not to make any noise. Then, she cleared her throat and knocked on the Chairman's door. Once she heard the permission to come in, Zhang Yu Ying walked briskly into her grandfather's room.

"Grandfather!" Zhang Yu Ying went forward and kissed her grandfather on his cheek.

Zhang Jing lifted his head to look at his granddaughter and went back to look at the documents on his table. "Yu Ying, you're here," he paused to jot down his signature and looked up. "I thought you were not going to show up in the company until next week. Didn't you said you were going to take a few weeks to rest before you come to work?"

Zhang Yu Ying decided to ignore her grandfather's speech. "Grandfather. Guess what? I came here with a guest!"

"Oh?" Zhang Jing looked at his granddaughter and laughed. "A guest? Who is it? It couldn't be that you have found yourself a boyfriend while going around in the city?"

Zhang Yu Ying clicked her tongue. "Grandfather, do you think that finding a boyfriend is as easy as picking up some vegetables in the market?" She walked towards the door and then, pulled Li Qin Yao forward. "Grandfather, look!"

When he saw the familiar face standing at his door, Zhang Jing immediately stood up. The surprised look on his face was apparent. "Miss Li? How are you here?"

"Grandfather, were you surprised?" Zhang Yu Ying had a bright smile on her face. "I went to visit Lilium Cafe earlier and ran into Sister. I invited her to come over and she said she wanted to come to thank you for helping her with the investment."

Zhang Jing chuckled as he heard Zhang Yu Ying whispering everything to him. It turned out that this girl had gone to B City to kidnap his future granddaughter-in-law. Zhang Jing looked at Li Qin Yao and invited her to come in and sit. "This is your first time coming here, right?"

"Yes. Grandfather, you have helped me a few times. It would be rude if I did not come to visit you. Anyway," Li Qin Yao lifted the bags in her hands. "I brought you something from my cafe. Grandfather, you haven't had your lunch yet, right?"

Zhang Jing had a wide smile on his face as he peeked into the takeaway box. His stomach started to grumble as he took a sniff. He remembered eating the same dish when he visited Lilium Cafe and thought that the dish was suitable for his palate.

"Right. Since this is the first time you come over, we need to take a picture to commemorate this event," Zhang Yu Ying turned to Assistant Huo who was standing not too far away and pass over her phone. "Assistant Huo, take a picture of us."

In the end, Li Qin Yao was forced to sat in the middle of Zhang Jing and Zhang Yu Ying as Assistant Huo snapped a few pictures. The background was, of course, the Chairman's work desk.

Once Assistant Huo was done, Zhang Yu Ying took back her phone to check on the photo. Once she picked the prettiest one, she immediately posted the photo on her Wechat moment. Of course, she did not forget to tag her brother.
