Chapter 142 - Her Love-struck Fool

Li Qin Yao munched at the cinnamon donut while feeding Zhang Yu Han who was still rubbing at her sore calf. The two of them talked a little bit share hilarious stories of them going to an amusement park when they were still young.

As she watched Zhang Yu Han continue to massage her legs with a hint of a smile on his face, Li Qin Yao felt her heart softened.

Actually, she was hesitant to trouble her boyfriend with such a task. However, as she continued to watch a few young couples around them, she began to notice something.

Although she had agreed to try and date Zhang Yu Han, Li Qin Yao thought that she had never really given him the chance to be her boyfriend.

Zhang Yu Han would drive over from Y City to B City and they would have a meal together and date like other couples almost every day. But other than holding hands, the two of them did not do anything that would differentiate them from a couple to a friend, right?

Zhang Yu Han has treated her well, and she could tell that he tried his best. He was careful with her, but also attentive.

It was impossible for her not to see that he was slightly disappointed when she had rejected his offer. And when she said that she changed her mind, the joyful look in his eyes was too apparent.

Perhaps, Fan Yun Xi was right that the way Zhang Yu Han looked at her does resemble a love-struck fool. And right now, he was her love-struck fool.

A relationship requires two-party to make it work.

Since she had agreed to give him a chance, she too needed to do something to make their relationship work. It wouldn't be fair to make him do all the chasing, right?

In the end, he might get tired of her, and she might lose this opportunity to be with someone who really loved her.

As the thought came to her mind, Li Qin Yao decided to spend the remaining time in the amusement park and enjoy herself. Moreover, she can still consult the park designer and engineers next.

Seeing that there were no more donuts, Li Qin Yao took out a wet tissue from her bag and wiped her hands clean off the cinnamon sugar. After thanking Zhang Yu Han for his hard work, she then dragged him over the carnival game center.

When they arrived, Li Qin Yao silently looked around at the games and was disappointed that she could not see what she was looking for. Then, she walked over to the arcade area.

Zhang Yu Han, who thought that his girlfriend was still in her working mode followed her around without complaining.

Suddenly, Li Qin Yao stopped at her tracks and turned around.

"What is it?" Zhang Yu Han was worried when she had suddenly stopped, but seeing her smiling happily, he couldn't help but smile along as well.

"Zhang Yu Han, go and get some tokens as well."

The man raised a brow. He glanced to his left, where two teenage boys were competing in a dance on a DDR machine. Immediately he began to understand his girlfriend's intention. "You wanted to play games here?"

Li Qin Yao nodded as she tugged at his hands. "Quickly, go. I'll wait for you here."

Zhang Yu Han let out a helpless sigh. He patted her soft hair and said. "Alright. You wait here. Don't run anyway."

Li Qin Yao nodded again. As Zhang Yu Han walked over to the token counter, Li Qin Yao began to look around at the people in the arcade.

When Zhang Yu Han returned, he found his girlfriend stood in front of the claw machine. He tapped her on her shoulder and asked, "You want to play this?"

"Are you good at claw machine?"

"No. I never try them before."

Li Qin Yao laughed. "Forget it. Let's play something you're good at. Right. Did you get the token?"

Zhang Yu Han nodded before he showed her the tokens in his hands. "Is this enough?"

"It should be. We'll get more if it's not enough," Li Qin Yao said. Then, she dragged him over to the Arcade Hoops. Then, she turned to him again and said, "Zhang Yu Han, teach me how to shoot."

Zhang Yu Han froze against her bright expression. He looked at the machine and said, "Hoop machine is different than basketball. For example, the height is different."

"Then, wouldn't it be easier for me to learn?"

"Hmm," Zhang Yu Han looked at the woman beside him. Their height difference was around twenty centimeters-ish. Standing side by side, Li Qin Yao only reached to his chest. "I guess it will be easier for you to shoot."

Zhang Yu Han bent down and put the token in the machine. The balls rolled down towards them, and he picked one up and shot the ball into the hoop a few times. Then, he picked another one and passed it to his girlfriend. "You try."

"There's a timer," Li Qin Yao pointed out.

"Forget the timer. Just shoot first."

Li Qin Yao held the ball tight, aimed, and shot. The result is that the ball hit the hoop and fell. Before she could say anything, Zhang Yu Han had handed her another ball.

"Try again."

She held the ball and get into the position. Soon, Li Qin Yao sensed Zhang Yu Han stood behind her. He corrected her hand posture before he told her to shoot. This time, the ball went into the hoop perfectly.

Li Qin Yao turned around and clapped her hands happily. Then, she reached for another ball and continued to shoot. After the fifth balls, Zhang Yu Han no longer stood behind her to correct her and instead, stood aside to watch her while giving his advice.

After a minute has passed, the machine stopped. Just as Li Qin Yao was about to take another token, she realized that something had come out from the machine. It was a gift redemption ticket.

"What is that?"

"Gift redemption tickets. It looks like if we have enough tickets, we can redeem a gift." Suddenly, Li Qin Yao's eyes brightened and she pushed her boyfriend in front of the machine.

Zhang Yu Han laughed as he watched her inserting another token in the machine.

The machine started.

"Zhang Yu Han, do your best!"

Seeing the expectation on her gaze, Zhang Yu Han obediently grab the ball and shot. Once he passed the first stage, the hoop started to move left and right. And soon, he reached the final stage.

The redemption tickets came out a lot more than the last time. Soon, it was decided that Zhang Yu Han would shoot the balls and Li Qin Yao would act as his cheerleader. In the end, the two of them spent their time in front of the machine until they ran out of tokens.
