Chapter 153 - Reminiscing

Zhang Yu Han drove as according to his girlfriend's instruction and soon parked at an empty parking space. Then, the two of them walked along the sidewalk and soon arrived at a restaurant.

As Zhang Yu Han looked at the signboard, he suddenly thought that the place seemed very familiar.

When a waitress greeted them at the entrance, Zhang Yu Han finally recalled the restaurant.

Was this not the sushi restaurant where they accidentally switched their phone?

As the thought crossed his mind, Zhang Yu Han turned to the woman beside him. "Why do you suddenly wanted to come here?"

Li Qin Yao blinked innocently. "Of course because I wanted to eat sushi." She looked at his expression and laughed. Once they were seated at the barstool, Li Qin Yao turned to him with a wide smile. "Do you remember this place? The last time I saw you, you were sitting in the same place."

So, she was reminiscing the last time they met at the restaurant?

Zhang Yu Han continued to stare at his girlfriend. Right at that moment, he had the urge to pull her close and kiss her on her lips. However, because he knew that it was not appropriate to do a public display of affection, Zhang Yu Han could only hold her hands tightly.

"But," Li Qin Yao paused to take a plate of salmon sushi on the conveyor belt before she turned to Zhang Yu Han again. "The last time, I saw you here, another woman was sitting beside you."

Zhang Yu Han let out a low chuckle and wonder if she was upset. "Well, if it was not for Wei Jun Hao, I wouldn't attend that blind date."

"Hmm," Li Qin Yao took out disposable chopsticks and ate her sushi. Then, she pointed at the seat behind Zhang Yu Han. "At that time, I was sitting just beside you."

Zhang Yu Han thought of what would have happened if he had turned around to look at her face. Then perhaps, he would have met her one day earlier.

A waiter stopped at their seat to deliver cups and a jar of cold tea. Zhang Yu Han then poured their cups with tea and looked up at Li Qin Yao again. "Fortunately, I attended that blind date in Jun Hao's place. Or else, I probably missed the chance to meet you."

The smile on Li Qin Yao's lips widened. She could still remember how she had eavesdropped to his conversation with his blind date only because she was attracted to his deep, low voice.

Of course, Li Qin Yao had no plan to tell him about this matter.

The two of them continued to reminisce and soon their conversation moved to their daily life.

"Right," Zhang Yu Han paused to drink his tea. "Are you busy this Friday?"

Li Qin Yao thought for a moment before she shook her head. "Not really. Liang Sheng and the others are handling things well. I'm planning to head over to the cafe to look around."

"Then, I'll come and pick you up in the evening," Zhang Yu Han smiled. "I wanted to introduce you to a few of my friends. You have met them previously, but I have never properly introduced you to them. Those boys are the same guys who always accompanied me to play basketball. Are you alright with that?"

Li Qin Yao nodded. "You arrange it. I'll just go along with you."

Zhang Yu Han smiled. He watched as Li Qin Yao picked up another plate of sushi and placed it in front of him. Knowing that she had picked up the plate for him, Zhang Yu Han obediently clipped at the tempura prawn sushi roll and eat.

"I recently noticed something," Li Qin Yao said as she watched him eat. "Zhang Yu Han, you're not picky about your food, but once you find something you like, you will only pick the same dishes, right? In this sense, you are different than Grandfather, right?"

"Isn't it good to stick to something that you like?"

"I didn't say it's not good, but I hope you can be more adventurous at trying new food. That way, I wouldn't feel guilty when I drag you around to try different types of food."

Zhang Yu Han laughed. Although he was not someone who would love trying new food, these past few months, he had tried various things he never tried before as he was accompanying his girlfriend.

"You don't have to be guilty about it," Zhang Yu Han smiled. "It wasn't that I wasn't willing to try something new, it's just that when I found something that I like, I just wanted to stick to it."

Li Qin Yao looked at him and noticed the strange look in his eyes. Just before she could say a word, someone came towards their table and called out Zhang Yu Han's name.

Zhang Yu Han stared at the strange woman before him and frowned. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?"

The woman glanced at Li Qin Yao before she smiled at Zhang Yu Han. "I'm Qin Fang. We came to this restaurant for a blind date a few months ago, don't you remember?"

Li Qin Yao exchanged a glance with Zhang Yu Han. It was not after she listened to the woman's voice that she recalled who she was.

Who would have thought that they would run into the woman who had attended a blind date with Zhang Yu Han a few months ago!

"Back then, you had an emergency and we did not have the chance to exchange our numbers," The woman's smile grew wide. "Ever since that day, I would frequently come over to this restaurant and hope to meet you again. Who would have thought that today is my lucky day."

"I'm sorry, Miss Qin," Zhang Yu Han spoke up to reject her. "But it's really inconvenient."

"Actually," Qin Fang quickly spoke up again as if she could sense that Zhang Yu Han was about to reject her. "I remember that you told me that you're an insurance salesman."

Li Qin Yao let out a chuckle and quickly covered her mouth to suppress her laugh.

Qin Fang glanced at Li Qin Yao in displeased before she continued. "I was interested in a few policies and wonder if you can spend some time to explain to me." She glanced at the empty seat beside Zhang Yu Han and smiled. "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Zhang Yu Han's eyes turned darker. He came here to enjoy his date with his girlfriend, but now someone else had come over to disturb them.

When Li Qin Yao saw the irritated look on her boyfriend's face, she immediately stood up and extended her hand for a handshake. "Hello Miss Qin," Li Qin Yao spoke up and smiled. "I am Mister Zhang's colleague. Actually, he's no longer with that insurance company. But, Miss Qin, have you heard about YKT? You probably have heard of our popular product. that weight loss coffee."

"YKT?" Qin Fang's expression changed after a few seconds. "Is that not a pyramid scheme company?"

"So, you have heard of us," the smile on Li Qin Yao's lips widened. "Are you interested to join our membership? Sit down and I'll tell you the benefit of joining. Not only will you live a healthy life, but you can make a lot of money if you join."

Qin Fang's face paled and she glanced at Zhang Yu Han with an awkward smile. "Actually, I forgot that I have an important meeting with a friend. Mister Zhang, it's great to see you again, but I have to go now."

Li Qin Yao watched as the woman hurriedly walked to the exit with her wide eyes. Then, she turned to Zhang Yu Han and laughed. "Zhang Yu Han, I didn't think that this trick would work."

Seeing her laughing happily, Zhang Yu Han sighed helplessly and bopped her nose."You naughty girl."

"Who asked her to aim for my boyfriend?"

Looking at the way she continued to eat her sushi nonchalantly, Zhang Yu Han could only smile. Right now, he really wanted to bite this girl.
