Chapter 924 - : It Was Said That Some Important Guests Would Be Coming

The empty seats in the stadium started to fill up as the spectators started to stream in 15 minutes before the start of the competition.

Qin Si was starting to get a little impatient. He raised his head and turned to Zhang Yang, who was sitting in the row behind him. “There are only 15 minutes left until the start of the competition. Why are the judges not here yet?”

Since this was a medical competition, there would naturally be a jury. There were more judges this year. It was also said that the invited guests this time were more important than the previous years.

Qin Si didn’t pay attention to such competitions at first. He also didn’t bother about the foreign award winners from previous years. He only came this year because of Qiao Nian.

He would feel more comfortable playing a game as compared to watching medical competitions.

Qin Si was very impatient, while Zhang Yang was calm. Zhang Yang sat back and shook his head with a blank expression. He said, “I don’t know. I haven’t heard of it.”

He lowered his voice and asked Qin Si, “Young Master Qin, do you want me to inquire?”

This was not a big deal.

Qin Si only asked him since he looked free. Seeing that he didn’t know, he leaned obliquely on the seat and glanced at the calm man beside him. “Forget it, you don’t need to inquire. Anyway, it will be starting in ten minutes. If they aren’t here yet, they will still have to come and prepare a few minutes in advance. You will know the judges and the participants later.”

“That’s true.” Zhang Yang understood that he was just asking casually and just sat back down.

Qin Si waited for a few minutes. There was finally some movement at the entrance of the venue ten minutes before the start of the competition. It seemed like someone was coming.

Raising his head and looking in the direction of the commotion, he saw more than a dozen security personnel surrounding an entering group of people.

Walking in the front was an old man with blond hair and deep contours. He was wearing white clothes and white pants, and he had the demeanor of a promising teacher.

He was followed by a few acquaintances.

Qin Si recognized a few of them like Liang Lu, Shen Yugui, and a few others.

In particular, Liang Lu, Jiang Xianrou’s teacher, was a well-known authoritative expert on brain surgery in Beijing. She was famous in the circle. Jiang Xianrou usually hung out with them, and she sometimes mentioned things about Liang Lu.

Qin Si knew Liang Lu very well.

The people following behind them were all dressed formally. They should be people from the medical association.

Qin Si leaned back in his chair for a long time. Not spotting any important award winners, he was taken aback. He turned around and muttered, “Everyone is here. Besides Master Carlos, I don’t see any other important guests.”

He originally guessed that the important guest would be Mr. Huang.

In the previous medical competitions, Mr. Huang had never been a judge before due to health reasons. However, this year, the Chinese Medicine Faculty would also be competing, and there was a high chance that Mr. Huang would come.

Zhang Yang and Gu San were surprised.

However, Ye Wangchuan had a knowing expression on his face. With a faint expression, he leaned on his back and held on to his cell phone. He was thinking about whether he should send a message to the girl.

Qin Si’s eyes were sharp. He noticed Ye Wangchuan’s actions and asked, “Master Wang, do you have any private information? Who will be coming this year?”

Ye Wangchuan raised his eyelids indifferently before answering his question.

There was another commotion at the entrance of the venue.

Liang Lu and the others had already taken their seats. The entrance was opened by the security officer and three more people walked in.

Both Master Nie and Mr. Huang were the top authorities in their respective fields. However, another person was walking between them. That person was wearing a straight Tang suit. He did not look young, but his age did not hinder his aura. He had a pair of brilliant eyes.
