Downstairs.
Wen Ruxia had already called Ye Wangchuan.
Ye Wangchuan was dealing with a business deal in Continent F. He picked up his mug to drink water and asked, “What’s the matter?”
“It’s nothing.” Wen Ruxia smiled and said, “Tomorrow is Wen Ziyu’s birthday. Our family organized a birthday party for him to celebrate his first year in society after graduation. We also invited a few friends. I want to invite Young Master Ye and Nian Nian. I wonder if you have time to give him face?”
Ye Wangchuan filled half the glass with water before walking back and casually sitting on the swivel chair. “Why didn’t you ask her directly?”
“I’ve asked.” Wen Ruxia did not hide it from him. She paused before continuing, “Nian Nian doesn’t seem to be in a good mood, so I thought I’d just ask you.”
Ye Wangchuan didn’t give her a clear answer. He only agreed to see if he was free tomorrow. If he was free, he would go. If not, he would forget it.
Wen Ruxia knew that the two of them were each harder to meet. Since she had invited them, it would just be an additional surprise if they showed up. She hung up readily.
Ye Wangchuan thought for a moment before pushing away the work piled up on the table. He told Gu San something before going to the second floor to look for Qiao Nian.

Upstairs.
After the cold shower, Qiao Nian’s hair was covered in water vapor. She wiped it with a towel and walked out in a daze.
She was about to pull out a chair to sit down when she realized the hairdryer seemed broken.
Qiao Nian’s beautiful face was covered in mist, and her dark eyes were even more prominent. She casually threw the towel on the desk and got up, preparing to go downstairs to get some air.
Unexpectedly, she bumped into the man upon opening the door.
She almost bumped into the other party’s shoulder blade. Fortunately, Qiao Nian reacted quickly and stopped in time, preventing a tragedy.
“You…”
She wasn’t in a good mood, but upon looking up at Ye Wangchuan’s beautiful eyes, her anger mysteriously subsided. She touched her nose and made way.
“What are you doing up here?”
Ye Wangchuan brushed her hair, lowered his eyes, and asked, “Are you in a bad mood?”
“Huh?” Qiao Nian felt his warm fingers when they touched her ear. Stunned, she did not react immediately.
Seeing her rare distracted look, Ye Wangchuan smiled and entered the room. “Let’s go. I’ll blow dry your hair.”
Qiao Nian subconsciously followed him in. Then, she remembered and stopped in her tracks. “No, my hairdryer is broken. I was about to go down to find another.”
Ye Wangchuan was sitting in her favorite chair as usual. He took out his cell phone and a message to someone before looking up and waving at her. “I told Gu San to send it up.”
Qiao Nian didn’t know why he came. She stood rooted to the ground for a few seconds before walking over slowly.
“You… didn’t come up here just to blow dry my hair, right?”
“You tell me.”
“…”
Qiao Nian gave him a look.
Then, she naturally dragged over a chair and sat down. Her hand rested on the back of the chair and let it hang naturally. She stretched her legs and her eyebrows lowered sloppily. It was impossible to tell she was in a bad mood. “Why are you looking for me?”
Ye Wangchuan pulled her chair over. When they were infinitely close to each other, his thin lips parted and he asked slowly and gently, “Are you in a bad mood?”
