Chapter 68: Coffee

Jenny chose to leave because her younger brother asked her to leave.Maybe he didn't want to be seen by her.

Aldric did not think about the thoughts of the two siblings.

For him as long as Theo did not contradict him, it would be easy.

He continued to give instructions gently.

As he expected, the barbell without weight plates was already heavy enough for him. He could barely lift his legs after lowering it.

Aldric who stood behind helped push the barbell gently.

"You have to lift it 12 times, then rest for a while and repeat it 4 more times." Aldric occasionally explained to him.

At this moment, he saw the boy starting to pant. Sweat ran down his forehead.

'At least he can still move,' Aldric thought.

Fortunately, this boy did seem to have the determination to train. He kept trying without asking to stop, which made Aldric find it easy to teach him.

About 40 minutes later, Theo was finally helpless.

He was lying on the floor with a helpless expression.

His legs seemed to be struggling to move.

The exercises Aldric had given him were already very light, yet he still fell into this state.

Even so, after a few moments of deep breathing, he managed to sit up.

At the same time, Aldric sent a message to Jenny.

(Come and bring a bottle of cold, high-protein milk. The taining is over!)

He sat on the chair after that.

Throughout this exercise, he just kept standing, of course his legs were sore.

"Are you dating my sister?" Just as he sat down, Theo who had barely spoken to him suddenly gave him a shocking question.

He almost froze because of that question.

"No," he answered quickly.

"I don't believe it," the boy replied so Aldric rolled his eyes.

"What things have you done to my sister?" He asked again, which almost made him stumble.

Fortunately, Jenny arrived right after that and Theo immediately pretended there was no conversation between them.

She was carrying a bottle of milk and it was a bigger bottle than Aldric had expected.

Her eyes immediately fell on her little brother, shocked to see him sitting there sweating.

She had never seen him sweat this much.

"Theo, are you okay?" she asked.

She was evidently worried.

"I'm fine," the boy replied in a tone that sounded indifferent.

He tried to stand up after saying that.

Apparently, he managed to do so.

Of course, right now, he hadn't fully felt the pain of the training effects.

Tomorrow, after waking up, he would definitely suffer. Sёarᴄh the NôvelFire(.)net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

After standing up, he took the bottle in Jenny's hand, then he left while saying, "I'm going to my room to rest!"

He really had no decency, behaving as he pleased.

It was a good thing he didn't behave like that to Aldric or he would have punched him in the face.

"Phew!" Jenny sighed.

"Good thing he practiced long enough this time," she said.

"Wasn't the last one this long?" asked Aldric.

"Only about fifteen minutes," Jenny replied, making Aldric roll his eyes.

"Maybe you should get a masseuse ready for him tomorrow," he said.

If the boy had only practiced for about 15 minutes, it was only natural that he hadn't felt the effects of weight training.

"Can you train him again later?" asked Jenny in response.

"If I'm not busy, but I think he needs to rest for a few days. The effects of the first workout tend to be very painful. By the way, can you drive me back now? I have another class in half an hour."

"Come on, why leave so soon." Jenny was instantly a bit sullen at the thought of him wanting to leave.

Perhaps she felt a great success inviting him to this house. If he stayed longer, anything might happen. Of course, she objected to him leaving so soon.

Her brain thought quickly to come up with ideas so she could ask him to stay.

Ask him to eat with her?

Jenny knew that wouldn't work.

It's not yet meal time and Aldric seems to have already eaten as he doesn't look hungry.

After much thought, Jenny realized that she wasn't coming up with any ideas.

It might work if she seduced him madly, but she didn't want to resort to such an ugly method either.

"Come on!" Aldric had already taken the first step before she finished thinking.

He really wanted to go back to university.

Jenny became more sullen, following him helplessly.

On the third floor, it was a floor with many rooms.

Before they didn't stop at all on that floor, but this time, Jenny suddenly stopped with an expression as if she remembered something.

"Aldric, wait a minute," she said before walking to one of the doors.

She opened it and entered quickly.

Aldric who was left alone knitted his eyebrows.

He could only wait, but this woman was taking longer than he expected.

It might be her bedroom, but what was taking her so long.

Aldric occasionally looked at his phone to see the time.

Minute after minute passed.

After ten minutes, the door that the woman had entered opened again.

When she came out of the room, she was carrying a medium-sized plastic jar.

It contained a brown-colored powder, probably coffee grounds.

She walked up to him and handed the jar to him.

"Keep it, it contains coffee imported from an island in Southeast Asia. It's the most delicious coffee in the world. I only managed to buy two jars and one for you," she said.

"Why are you giving me coffee?" Aldric showed a strange expression that never appeared on his face.

He did drink coffee, but not to the point of making it his hobby.

He also didn't have a particular preference for coffee, so of course he found it strange that she was giving him coffee.

"I'm afraid you won't use it if I give you some kind of object, but if it's food, you'll definitely use it since you don't like wasting food," she replied.

"Accept it unless you want me to come to your dorm to put it there myself," she added.

Aldric rolled his eyes again at hearing something like this.

Instead of her forcing him, he finally accepted.

"But what took you so long?" he asked again.

He didn't understand how it took so long to retrieve this jar.

"I forgot to put the key to the cabinet I kept this jar in, it took ten minutes before I found it," she replied casually.
