The sound of horse hooves hitting the ground echoed inside a forest. About 15 men on horses could be seen making their way down a long path.
"Atcheww" on a particular horse, Leon sneezed before casually looking around.
The death squad had been separated into several teams and tasked to track down members of the blood serpent clan.
"Hmm, this stinks," Leon commented with some annoyance. He thought he would be given free rein during this escapade, but unfortunately, Dorian and Anan were in the same team as him, and they had instigated the team leader to force Arian to keep him in cuffs.
"Speak silently, we don't need any more trouble," Arian said coldly to Leon. It was not in her hands; the leader of this team was a strict guy, and she didn't have any sort of relationship with him.
"Hmm," Leon understood her and nodded.
"Why doesn't he fly and scout the area? Seems like a waste of resources if you ask me," Leon commented in a hushed voice.
The person leading their team was none other than the man who had led the entire squad here. It was the man in the silver armor, and surprisingly, he was a level 3 magic user.
The commander knew they were going to face powerful members of the blood serpent clan, so he knew to bring the best of the best for this escapade.
"I don't know much about level 3; the circumstances surrounding flight are well hidden so...." Arian explained.
There might be a limit to flight as a level 3 magic user or maybe he just didn't want to; she didn't know for sure.
"But, don't you have someone in your family of that level?" Leon asked sneakily.
"Hm? Mind your business,"
When Arian heard those words from Leon, she sneered and pulled her horse forward a little. Leon was always trying to pry into her private life. She didn't know what kind of mind games he was playing or what his ultimate goal was, but she knew she had to be very cautious of Leon.
"Hehehe," seeing Arian's reaction, Leon smiled and shook his head. The story of the shamed knight really had him intrigued. Forgetting his relationship with Arian, there were several other points in the story that drew his attention.
However, before Leon could continue pressuring Arian, a voice abruptly sounded.
"Halt!"
From the front of the trail, the knight in silver armor raised his hand, forcing the group to a quick and abrupt halt.
"Hmm," he looked at the patch of land in front of him. They had been moving on this path for about 2 hrs, and there were no problems.
This, in itself, was strange; the forest was not only full of hunters looking for Warlocks, but it was also crawling with wild monsters. It didn't make any sense for him not to see even one.
"HMMM..." The silver Knight squinted his eyes and looked to the back to call over one of his men.
"Boom!!!!"
He pulled out his sword and collided with the Rhinoceros. One man on a horse versus a Rhinoceros about 3 times their size combined, but neither of them gave any room for weakness.
"Hehe, stupid beast," the silver night slimed. His sheer force was able to stop the massive Rhinoceros running at full speed. This was an inhumane feat.
"Take this"
The silver knight reached forward with his left hand and punched the base of the Rhinoceros' horn, causing it so much pain that it involuntarily stepped back.
Using this opportunity, the silver knight pulled back his sword and slashed at the Rhinoceros' horn.

With each attack, the Rhinoceros would squirm in pain. The horn was its biggest weapon, but it was also its delicate spot. It was really painful being hit like that.
Back atop the small cliff, the aged man had a look of dread on their face. The situation in front of them unbelievable, even they had to organise a troop of about 30 men to torment this monster day and night before they were able to redirect it to this path.
But this guy was able to cause it to suffer to the point that it felt like running away in just a few seconds.
"I knew that I recognised that guy. Its Tamlin's Silver death knight!!" One of the subordinates of the aged hunter pointed out with dread.
The Tamlin group was basically just an Alliance of a couple noble houses of the kingdom for the purpose of military action and hunting escapades. It was mainly formed by low level fighters and the high level ones were usually nobles.
But sometimes, from inside the ranks of these low level fighters some talents would appear. A great example of this was The sliver death knight.
He was nothing but a lowly foot soldier but his battle prowess and ruthlessness was superb, enabling him to climb the ranks very fast.
Soon he got the name Tamlin's Silver death knight, second only to commander Alaric when it came to ruthlessness.
"Hmp!! Got you" The sliver death knight pulled his hand back and punched the horn of the blue horned Rhinoceros, causing it fo Snap off like a twing.
"Roarr!!!!!!" The pain was unbearable. This guy has ruthlessness pounded on its defense mechanism until it collapsed. He was the definition of a ruthless brute.
"Hehe, that's more like it" the sliver death knight smiled while looking at the horn in his hand. This was the most precious part of the monster and he had snatched it, leaving the creature half dead.
"Eggh hhhhhh" the blue horned Rhinoceros squirmed with weak breathes. There was no way to fight off this pain, it was unbearable.
"I'll let you be, men!! Let's go" looking at the state of the creature the sliver knight couldn't help but shake his head. There was no thrill in killing it now, so he packed up his men an set off towards the mountain range.
Surprisingly the hunters on the cliff not too far away didn't do anything. Not because they didn't want to, no it was because they couldn't. their own leader was only at peak of level 2. They couldn't wouldn't dare act.
At least he had left the body of the creature for them. They would manage.
