Chapter 65: Shopping

Name:MARVEL: GAME MAKER SYSTEM Author:
The next day, Alex woke up earlier as he didn't have any clothes to wear to the barbecue and thought it was a waste to use GP to buy such a simple outfit when he had almost a billion dollars in his bank account.

So after eating a light breakfast, Alex called Bee and drove to Salem Center again.

Despite the city being small, with just over 5,000 inhabitants, the Salem Center Mall was quite large, with 80 stores and a wide variety of choices.

Alex had passed by here on his way to the festival with Scott and Kurt, so he remembered this place.

"Hey Bee, do you want me to buy you something?" Alex asked as he drove at 200mph without much concern.

"Hmm, I saw that there are steering wheels to put in the video game and I was curious about what it's like to drive. Can you buy me one, Alex?" Bee asked a little nervous since he had never asked Alex for anything.

Alex thought about it and was surprised to think that Bee, who always turned into a car, had never driven!

But thinking GameStop's racing wheels would be too small for Bee, Alex thought that he might develop a racing game in the future for Bee to enjoy.

"I think their steering wheel size is too small for you, how about I make a racing game in the future? That way you would feel something more realistic." Alex suggested his idea.

Bee thought for a few seconds before replying excitedly. "Of course! I've always wanted to drive. Do you think you can put planes in too? I've always envied the Decepticons being able to transform into airships while we can only transform into cars."

Alex smiled and nodded. "Sure, I'll put cars, planes, boats, military vehicles, whatever you feel is fun, but what do you want me to buy today then?"

Bee thought some more and said in an embarrassed voice. "I think I want a cleaning set, I feel like there are some parts of me that might need more attention with cleaning."

With internet access, Bee saw that car owners usually cleaned some places very carefully, which made the cars look much nicer, and even smelled with some very good scents.

Cybertronians like him aren't very fond of washing themselves, as they have a technology that cleans their bodies sporadically, but thinking about the videos he's seen of owners taking care of cars, Bee felt it looked like fun to let Alex clean him like that.

Seeing Bee's request, Alex agreed and didn't expose Bee's thinking even though he knew that Bee could clear himself.

Even though Bee could show a lot of maturity, Alex noticed that Bee normally just acted like a child who liked affection and attention, mainly because in his race this is not common.

Perhaps this was why Bee became attached to Alex so quickly, something Alex would not complain about, as he also enjoys Bee's company very much, and feels that Bee asking for this is like a kitten asking for a comb to brush its fur. As much as it's something the owner has to do, the kitten feels great having its fur brushed.

Driving the yellow GTR, Alex once again attracted a lot of attention in the small town of Salem Center, mainly with the echo of Bee's exhaust, which was very loud.

He just ignored these people's reaction and went to the stores to buy the things he needed.

Taking advantage of the fact that he was already here, Alex visited some stores with good quality clothes and bought several different sets of clothes for him to wear, in addition to the ones he would wear to the barbecue today.

For today's barbecue, Alex had bought a set of a white Hawaiian-style T-shirt printed with a few flowers and the buttons undone halfway up his chest, while wearing red shorts that were short to just mid-thigh, with white flip-flops and a black with gold glasses that he liked.

The combination of the color of the shirt and sandals with his white hair, and the shorts with his red eyes made the outfit leave several store attendants speechless.

Although the outfit looks simple, but as the store was quite luxurious, Alex had spent $1,300 on this set alone, considering the other clothes he bought, the total spent was almost $30,000.

Seeing Alex swipe the credit card without worrying about the amount, the store attendants were even more shocked, and even handed Alex their phone number before he left.

Unfortunately Alex had no interest in these women and just threw it in a garbage can in the parking lot.

After putting things in Bee's trunk, Alex finally drove following the location Anna sent him.

Despite the city being small and things being quite close, the location Anna sent was quite far, as the school was a few miles away from the city.

Since Alex's average speed outside the city was 200 mph, it didn't take him long to reach the Xavier Institute.

From a distance he saw that the gate was closed, but as soon as his car approached the gate began to open automatically.

"I wonder if the gate is automatic and opens for anyone?" Alex wondered confused.

But what he didn't know is that even 1 mile away, the X-Men already knew he was coming, not because he was under surveillance, but because the noise of Bee while Alex accelerated was loud enough for them to hear by far.

Especially Anna, who was sitting under an umbrella while having a non-alcoholic drink made by Professor Ororo.

Beside her was Bobby, trying to strike up a conversation with her but failing miserably as he didn't know what to talk about and Anna didn't pay as much attention to him.

When she heard the loud noise of Alex's GTR she got up quickly and started to get ready, to make sure there was nothing wrong with her.

Seeing Anna like that, Jean and Kitty started to smile, knowing the reason for her getting dressed like that, while the other X-men were confused by the noise that was getting louder.

"It's Alex!" (2x)

Scott and Kurt said excitedly as they got up and were going to take control of the gate to open it as soon as Alex appeared.

As they imagined, just 15 seconds later, a yellow GTR appeared in front of the mansion's gate.

Kurt didn't even wait for Alex to ring the bell and pressed the button on the remote for Alex to enter.

Seeing such a beautiful and different car coming in, not only did Scott, Kurt, Jean, Kitty and Anna notice, but the other young X-men also noticed and looked on with curiosity.

Some girls looked at the car with a bit of excitement, while most of the boys were shocked as they looked at the car almost drooling.

Before anyone could do anything, Anna walked in the direction the car parked and saw the door opening.

When Alex got out of the car and saw Anna he was a little lost.

The only thing he managed to say was:

"Wow…"
