Chapter 105: Lilith’s Castle

Chapter 105: Lilith’s Castle

Hell is typically represented by various dimensions, each known as a hell. Each dimension has a lord, who may be referred to as a Demon Lord or Hell Lord.

These dimensions construct the framework of Hell. Of course, these dimensions are interconnected, and the ruler of Hell is known by the title of Satan. Many Hell Lords have self-proclaimed the title of Satan, but none have willingly taken Satan's throne. Such an action would either indicate the power to dominate other Hell Lords or lead to a grand war among the Hell Lords of various dimensions.

Hence, when the Hell Lords need to make a collective decision on a significant event, they usually convene a round table meeting.

Asmodeus was killed, and his kingdom became the subject of a round table meeting where the Hell Lords planned to divide it among themselves. However, the ensuing conflicts of interest led to a chaotic skirmish that resembled a staged play.

In reality, it was merely a standoff. Demon Lords do not easily engage in battle, so they defaulted to having their demons invade Asmodeus’s territory to seize land and resources. This resulted in many demon deaths and a mass exodus of demons from Asmodeus's land.

Meanwhile, in the kingdom of Lilith, another Demon Lord, a stranger arrived. Lilith’s territory is also a dimension in Hell, larger than Asmodeus in size, with more resources and cities.

There are cities in Hell. Some cities are similar to those in the human world, depending on the preferences of the Demon Lords. Demon Lords who enjoy comfort and luxury usually build their domains accordingly.

Lilith is such a Demon Lord. She enjoys human lifestyles, frequently visiting Earth and assuming various identities to seduce men and lead them to a pleasurable death. Due to Hell's unique nature, the cities can only support demon life. The environment and scenery are pure post-apocalyptic wastelands, with neon lights flickering weakly amidst the harsh surroundings.

However, Bi Xiao frowns as he looks at the towering castle on the hill. From his perspective, the castle lacks even a magical barrier, which seems odd. Is Lilith so confident, or is it a trap set for him?

With his body tense, Bi Xiao’s figure suddenly vanishes from the spot. He reappears inside the castle, which is large and luxuriously decorated, akin to the ancient castles of human nobles, but with a slightly more sinister and eerie touch. Various portraits of Lilith and unknown demon heads adorn the walls, creating a chilling atmosphere.

Ignoring these, Bi Xiao heads straight to the main hall of the castle, his keen senses scanning the entire structure. As expected, there is no sign of Lilith, only traces of her lingering presence and the guards protecting the castle.

Turning to a nearby diligent demon guard, Bi Xiao's powerful mental force invades the guard's mind, reading its thoughts and memories. As anticipated, the guard's memories reveal Lilith's figure.

The previous day, Lilith suddenly returned to the castle, seeming in high spirits. After returning, she stayed in her chamber for most of the day and has not emerged since.

Bi Xiao is somewhat disappointed by his bad luck. Nevertheless, through the guard’s memories, he finds the location of Lilith’s treasury.

The treasury is at the end of the second floor of the castle. It is easy to open, revealing a long corridor. Seeing the corridor and noticing the murals and mysterious runes on the walls, Bi Xiao immediately understands why there are no guards.

The treasury is merely a trap; anyone stepping into it will trigger powerful dark magic. The corridor's end, lined with various rare metals and treasures, is but an illusion.
