Chapter 154: Gabriel

Chapter 154: Gabriel

The pure and holy light subtly dispersed the gloom of the sky, as if the light had become the ruler of this space.

And the one who ruled the light was indeed that angel.

"What the hell?"

Tony's eyes were really about to pop out. The previous battle scenes had already seemed absurd to him, making him feel that this world was crazy.

But now, something even crazier was right in front of him.

The legendary angel appeared right before him.

Even from a distance, he could still see those iconic white wings, and the radiance emanating from the angel stirred a sense of yearning within him. He had never believed in any religion.

Angels were no exception; he only believed in himself.

Buzz!

With a gentle flap of its pure white wings, the angel's figure suddenly disappeared. When it reappeared, it was already in the sky by the roadside, overlooking Wanda. At the same time, a flash of white lightning appeared, and Pietro almost simultaneously stood in front of Wanda, shielding her.

The angel glanced at Wanda and then at Pietro. As for the human not far away, looking up with wide eyes, he was ignored.

An ant-like mortal was not worthy of his gaze; even a glance was a favor.

"You, are you Gabriel?" The head held in the angel's hand suddenly shouted excitedly.

Gabriel?

This name shocked Wanda, Pietro, and Tony. Gabriel, the Seraph, and Archangel, was known for holding an important guard position in heaven, responsible for vigilance and delivering messages.

The trumpet of the Last Judgment in the Bible is said to be blown by him, and he is also considered a symbol of "wisdom."Vissit novelbin(.)c.om for updates

That one of the most famous angels would suddenly appear on Earth was simply unbelievable.

"Kalumai's dogs, you heretics also want to covet that power, huh."

The angel, known as Gabriel, raised his hand slightly, glanced at the head in his grasp, and said indifferently. Without any visible action, the head began to burn with blazing platinum flames, emitting a terrible scream before turning to ashes.

The remaining traces were thoroughly erased.

Gabriel flicked his hand in disgust, as if to shake off the filth, then looked back down and coldly said to Wanda and Pietro, "You are far more exceptional than I imagined."

"Bearer of Chaos Magic."

Gabriel immediately identified the source of Wanda's power, while Tony Stark silently observed from behind, bewildered.

What is Chaos Magic? It actually prompted the renowned Archangel Gabriel to descend. The group that attacked earlier must have been after the girl too. He realized he was dragged into this disaster unintentionally, what a nightmare.

Tony looked dismayed.

"Are you here for me, like those people?"

Wanda's eyes narrowed. Her usually gentle and calm demeanor did not mean she was harmless. She indeed was shocked by Gabriel's arrival but did not accept his condescending attitude.

"Chaos Magic should not exist in a human. By the will of the Almighty, I will take you to heaven."

Gabriel said calmly.

"Heaven holds no appeal for me."

"That is not up to you, girl. You have been exposed to their view; you will become the center of contention, and the world will fall into strife and chaos because of you. Disasters will arise because of you."

Gabriel's appearance was unexpected. He anticipated bold moves, but thought they'd send proxies or possess followers instead.

Yet, he hadn't expected followers of a mysterious, powerful demon lord to seal off a space.

This sealed space, like a mirror dimension but more confined, allowed no entry or tracking except for those followers.

The demon lord clearly wanted to take Wanda and Pietro quickly.

However, heaven, having watched since Wanda and Pietro appeared, acted upon discovering the sealed space, with Gabriel entering personally. In such a space, Gabriel faced no dimensional suppression.

It was a case of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. But the mantis faced an eagle.

On the roadside, Gabriel ignored the pain, rose from the ground, blood flowing from his back. The sacred blood made flowers and grass grow from the soil.

Angel blood contained immense vitality, though not beneficial for humans.

The blood's allure made Tony Stark feel a greedy impulse, but his survival instinct held him back.

...

He didn't want to die.

"Are you that human?"

Ignoring the blood, Gabriel's holy light healed his wounds, but losing his wings, a source of his power, was a severe injury. Only a powerful being could sneak into this sealed space and tear his wings.

Gabriel immediately thought of a mysterious human, rumored to have invaded Hell, killing Asmodeus, and also Lilith.

Heaven, though seldom seen on Earth, knew all about it, including Kamar-Taj and the Ancient One.

But no one could find this human who had killed Asmodeus and Lilith.

Gabriel was now certain this was the man heaven and hell sought.

No ordinary human, not even the Ancient One, could so easily tear his wings.

"Does heaven also care about chaos magic? Aren't you devoted to holy light?"

Bi Xiao, interested, looked down at Gabriel, roles reversed.

Gabriel, unperturbed, stared back, memorizing Bi Xiao's face.

"It's the Lord's command."

"Yahweh?"

Gabriel was silent. Normally, he would punish anyone for calling God by name, but Bi Xiao's power justified it.

"Alright, I don't care."

Boom!!

A blast, and Bi Xiao's figure shot down at light speed, grabbing Gabriel's neck and smashing him into the ground.

Boom!

The impact resounded through the heavens, destroying the road, sending stones and dust flying, with shockwaves scattering. Tony Stark and a dozen others were thrown back, Pietro swiftly saving them and taking them to safety.

"Woah"

Tony, feeling the ground still shaking, looked at the distant shockwave, barely able to stand.
