Chapter 618 - Sinla Clan’s HQ

Bai Li’s astounding aura surged all the way up to the stratosphere. Beasts in the surrounding went into unrest sensing the formidable presence. The presence of a B-tier beast emperor was rare, after all.

Kata-kata!

Gwuf! Gwuf! Gwuf!

Suddenly, abrupt footsteps were heard approaching. Amid the noise, Qin Feng could make out human voices.

He immediately expanded his consciousness and quickly locked on a group of humans. This party was surprisingly strong. It was led by a B-tier with four C-tiers behind him. They were dashing through the forest.

Though they were being shrouded by Qin Feng’s consciousness, none of them realized it. They even started to communicate through their consciousness.

Hence, Qin Feng could distinctly catch what they were talking about.

“What’s the matter? I thought we have swept this area clean? Why is there still a B-tier around? Judging by the horrifying aura, it could well be an emperor!”

“It doesn’t feel like an insectoid.”

“Perhaps there’s a new rift?”

“It’s hard to tell. If it’s really a B-tier, then only the boss can deal with it.”

“F*ck! We have just set up this camp half a month ago and now it’s time to move again. This is so frustrating. Hopefully, this is a one-time occurrence.”

These people then further complained about how bad the current campsite was, and also mentioned the death of Diran and others.

Qin Feng naturally knew who they were by now.

Members of the Shinla Devils.

Qin Feng had heard about the Shinla Devils in his past life. In that life, the Shinla Devils got their hands on an herb like Tear Flower that could repel insectoids. This allowed them to set up their HQ in the middle of the Dusan Basin despite being densely crowded by insectoids. They then became a lawless trade center connecting Huaxia and Dusan.

But they had yet to reach that scale. Qin Feng reckoned it would at least take another five to six years from now.

In other words, the Shinla Devils were just at their fetal stage now.

Nevertheless, they were still a threat being led by an A-tier aptitude user.

‘It’s them! What a coincidence!’ Qin Feng continued to lock his consciousness on them while concealing his and Bai Li’s presence. Their internal forces slowly faded away.

The troop from the Shinla Devils had sensed it too. Despite the sudden disappearance of the emperor’s aura, they still approached the area cautiously and did a round check anyway. They did not find anything out of the ordinary.

“It’s probably gone!” The B-tier aptitude user spoke.

The others were relieved.

“Do we need to stay here and observe?”

“No need to waste time here. Let’s head back.”

“Okay. Let’s have a drink once we are back.”

Though it came to nothing, they rather have this than seeing a beast emperor.

They had no idea they were being trailed by two persons—or a person and a beast emperor to be exact.

‘There will probably be a lot of loot once I exterminate the Shinla Devils.’ Qin Feng was already plotting in his mind on how to obliterate the clan.

Qin Feng looked at Bai Li. “Do you think you can deal with their boss?”

“Depends. I am at B-tier now so probably I am good enough against an A-tier human.”

Unless the opponent was a pinnacle prodigy. However, such talent was very uncommon. Diran probably came close but he, too, had succumbed to Qin Feng’s supremacy and met his end.

Qin Feng said, “You will be fine. Shinla is an A-tier ancient warrior. He has a massive internal force and mastered an evil art, which grants him super strength. However, when it comes to fighting, he is probably not a very difficult opponent.”

His tier alone was sufficient to fend off a lot of users. No one in Dusan had the time and courage to challenge an A-tier out of the blue.

Qin Feng happened to have both.

“We have killed a lot of insectoids already. An opportunity is going to present itself soon in this area. After that, we will leave this place for good. There’s no better time to wipe the Shinla Devils than now.”

“I am fine with anything. Just tell me what to do.”

“Let’s go!”

Qin Feng had made up his mind. He and Bai Li continued to follow the group in the dark.

The five men were actually solid aptitude users. But they did not realize that they were being followed at all. Soon, they had exited the dangerous zone.

The place was surrounded by a lot of trees. This geographical area was not marked in the map provided by Dusan Central City.

Qin Feng and Bai Li were fortunate that they did not step on anything. Camouflaged by the darkness, the land they had dashed through was actually a swamp covered by several layers of wilted leaves. A lot of weird insectoids lived underneath it, while flocks after flocks of giant mosquitos lingered above the swamp surface.

The people from the Shinla Devils seemed to have passed through this place countless times. They were familiar with the terrain and probably carried the herbs that repel insectoids. Thus, they could pass through quickly without much hindrance.

They reached a solid ground not long after. The tall trees, firm ground, wooden wall, and sentry tower was telling enough that this was a small stronghold.

Qin Feng no longer followed the few guys. He maintained the dark ability around them and went past the sentinels unnoticed.

Once he was inside the stronghold, Qin Feng carefully spread out his consciousness without drawing any attention. He surveyed the entire place thoroughly.

He took a deep breath after he had finished looking.

The entire camp had a total of more than three hundred C-tier aptitude users and seven B-tiers. There’s a three-story wooden house that Qin Feng purposely avoided. His instinct told him this had to be Shinla’s residence.

He did not know he would come across Shinla’s HQ by accident.

Other than members of the Shinla Devils, Qin Feng also found a lot of slaves living in this stronghold. They were being harassed and slaved as the members pleased.

During the night, the men were venting their excess energy on the girls. Dreadful screams could be heard all around the camp.

In such a dark and sickening place, Qin Feng furrowed his brows in disgust.

“Come here!” Qin Feng’s consciousness quickly locked on a B-tier aptitude user.

He was an ancient warrior with moderate ability. His wooden house looked better than the rest too. He was raping a girl and was entirely immersed. He did not notice a silhouette that had just entered his room through the opened window.

The man finally noticed his company when silver radiance popped up in his room. However, the surroundings had already turned pitch black.

“Spatial Quarantine!”

This was Bai Li’s ability. Right now, the house had been transferred into a parallel dimension. It was now a secluded dimension and any battle in here would not be sensed by outsiders.

Qin Feng was already standing behind the man as he raised his hand furiously.

“Dragon Slap!”
