Chapter 623 - Completion of Support Mission

Even the conversation between Qin Feng and Bai Li earlier was clearly heard.

Now, Quong Po began to doubt his own ears.

Qin Feng and Bai Li had just discussed how they have killed Shinla together?

It was a name that would never be mistaken by him!

It was the nightmare of the Dusan Basin, the name of a powerful A-tier that held the most powerful dark influence.

“Regardless, a follow up investigation on it would definitely reveal the truth!”

As Quong Po told himself, he swept his vision across the gigantic and deep pit, he then turned around and left!

Qin Feng did not notice Quong Po’s presence.

When he was sweeping his conscious energy across the area, he was only focusing on Bai Li’s location and the area beyond it.

Furthermore, in the future, Quong Po would become one of the powerful A-tiers that had his own mighty skills. As Qin Feng was injured and worried about Bai Li, it was understandable for him to miss out on some of the other details.

After Bai Li and Qin Feng left to return to the Dusan Central City, Quong Po ventured through the wilderness and countless numbers of insectoids on his return to the Central City. By the time he arrived, the sky was bright and it was already noon, needless to say he was exhausted.

Xu Qing saw his return and immediately asked, “What is happening to the high-risk region? Qin Feng had been clearing off the regions around the Central City for the past few days, and those insectoids have been greatly restrained, today, the drones have captured the migration of the insectoids!”

It was definitely a butterfly effect triggered by the horrifying energy around the area that had created such a turbulence, and Quong Po knew that the giant pit was the proof of it.

Insectoids around the area were shocked and began to spread out and migrate, they were like overlapping waves that continuously transmit and amplify their influence to the next layer. Hence, insectoids at the outer layer were also troubled by the chaotic scene.

Quong Po heard Xu Qing and was instantly struck by a question in mind as he said, “Has Qin Feng decided on his hunt today?”

It was already a daily norm for Qin Feng to do insectoid hunting and submit his mission the next morning, and every appearance of his would be associated with risk reduction of a certain location.

They were even some that would purposely wait for Qin Feng’s mission submission before their departure, and they would focus on those locations that Qin Feng had gone to in search of insectoid corpses that were missed out by Qin Feng’s people, or perhaps it might even be a better place for them to continue hunting.

Qin Feng would be the one to enjoy the main dish and the other followers would benefit from the leftovers. Hence, they would follow Qin Feng with great reverence.

Xu Qing heard the question and answered, “Indeed, Qin Feng is absent today, I asked about it earlier, he is planning to rest for a day and not go out!”

Quong Po seemed to be more puzzled, but he was more affirmed with his own presumption.

“Hmm, that’s right, we all deserve rest time, let’s give in extra effort for our clean up today, winter season is about to end, let’s seize this opportunity and the Central City might have more survivors this year!”

Quong Po answered, and he seemed to be favouring Qin Feng in his cover up speech.

It was obvious that Qin Feng did not want others to know about what he had done.

However, Quong Po understood what was going on.

At that point in time, Quong Po had already deemed Qin Feng as an extremely horrifying figure!

A C-tier going against an A-tier? Such a scene would not even appear in myths.

Quong Po guessed that Qin Feng had hidden his true capability.

Regardless of whether Qin Feng was looking to reveal himself as the one who killed Shinla and redeem the glorious fame, or that he was looking to hide his achievement and keep it as a secret, Quong Po was not supposed to reveal it either.

He kept his silence.

It was a full day’s rest for Qin Feng before he returned and joined the great siege army, and nobody else noticed anything unusual from him.

Moreover, the purple label on the map that indicated an extremely risky region was gradually changing. The greater the number associated with the region, the riskier the region would be. Some might even consist of several establishments of insectoid nests that required continuous clean up, it would then lead to more complicated situations.

However, Qin Feng’s pace of hunting had sped up the disappearance of the threats.

As time flew by, Qin Feng had already spent a month at Dusan!

It was another morning at the aptitude user lobby.

“Ding dong! Battlefield updates for the twenty-first region!”

“Successful C-tier insectoid nest siege: sieged by: C-tier aptitude user—Qin Feng”

“C8-tier earth crawler beast emperor killed, killed by: C-tier aptitude user—Bai Li!”

The broadcast echoed around the lobby, and although such announcements had been broadcasted for a month, there were still many that exclaimed out loud and were shocked by it.

“Another kill!”

“C8-tier, this Bai Li, what is her actual capability?”

“With such capabilities, how is she still using a C-tier aptitude user badge? Is she trying to make fun of us?”

Everyone was mindful of Bai Li’s growing capabilities and was impressed by it.

Meanwhile, Qin Feng was still at the window counter, and the staff that had attended to him was coincidentally the same staff that had passed him the note when he had just arrived. She was looking at Qin Feng with immense reverence and admiration.

Unfortunately, Bai Li was there so she was afraid of being overly proactive in approaching Qin Feng.

However, the following sentence from Qin Feng caused her to raise her voice unintentionally.

“What? Master Qin, you want to submit your support mission? Are you planning to leave already?”

Obviously, the support mission was the one that Shang Han had assigned to Qin Feng to provide support at the Dusan Basin for a month, and it had already been a month since the commencement of the mission!

Per the agreement, upon the commencement of the support mission, Qin Feng would receive constant pay-outs from the Human Alliance in accordance to the duration of the mission.

It was the same as when Xu Qing went to support Longchuan.

Of course, Qin Feng was not receiving a lot from his pay-outs, as the battle achievements were in accordance to his tier, and Qin Feng was only registered as a C-tier, he could only be paid by the C-tier standards.

However, as Shang Han had already assigned Qin Feng to a minimum standard of two insectoid nest demolitions within a month, he would be receiving exceptional pay-outs that were in accordance with B-tier battle achievement standards.

Within the hunted kills accumulated by Qin Feng, he had already exceeded the target of his mission by tenfold.

It had definitely secured the reward for him.

However, the pay-outs did not matter to Qin Feng, as his main reason in submitting the mission for vetting was to complete the mission assigned by Shang Han and fulfil his promise.

For the vetting staff, mission submission would naturally indicate withdrawal, after all, even if the mission had not been submitted, the pay-outs would still be released daily.

Now, it had come to an end.

Qin Feng was not trying to hide his intention either. “Hmm, I have already completed the support mission assigned by the regent!”

The statement was like a dropping stone that had evoked a thousand waves!

Their conversation was already drawing attention from the surroundings. Everyone had been paying their attention to it, and as Qin Feng answered with his intention to leave, everyone was shocked and could not resist the urge to look at him. Those that were about to go hunting had even stopped moving forward.

They were all consumed by their burning desire to ask Qin Feng about his decision, and why he would leave.

Jiang Po, the one who had attended to Qin Feng during his arrival, was among the crowd who was shocked upon hearing the news, and he immediately rushed to the second floor. Regardless of whether they were close to Qin Feng or not, every B-tier master had rushed downstairs.

Meanwhile, since Qin Feng had already reassured the staff about his firm decision, the staff was afraid to further delay the request and went ahead to terminate the mission, and had even topped it up with additional rewards.

“Qin Feng, are you leaving? Isn’t there half a month left before the winter season ends?” Xu Qing asked immediately.

Qin Feng also felt that the location was not bad, densely populated with insectoids that were suitable for hunting, and he was already close to breaking through C7-tier.

But Qin Feng knew that he would have another better opportunity soon!
