Chapter 834 - Intelligent Species—Gorefiend

The users of the North African Republic panicked.

There were simply too many spatial rifts popping up. They tried to maneuver through it but were eventually cornered. Most of them had to abandon their ships and flee.

They were a little too far from the initial entrance now. It was hard to return to the original dimension in this chaos.

Cleaves assessed the situation and decisively steered his only two aircrafts into Feng Li’s bombing range.

Jin Hao saw everything through the surveillance monitor inside the aircraft and mocked, “So-called the Son of Sun from that prestigious Altaar Corporation. A minute ago he was still begrudging our president and now he is taking refuge under our shelter?”

Jin Hao then turned to Qin Feng, eagerly waiting for the latter to give the firing order. This time, it would not be on the same level as the earlier warning shot.

“Leave them be. Keep your eyes open and stay vigilant.”

Qin Feng spoke as he expanded his consciousness to probe the strength of the monsters dropping out from the unknown dimension.

He knew exactly where they were heading. The place ahead where the humongous city had fallen on was called the Bloodbath Warzone.

An even more intensive battle must be ongoing near there right now.

According to the intel Qin Feng brought over from his past memory, the reason why the North African Republic chose the name Blood River Realm was because almost all creatures living here were bloodthirsty in nature.

That was really unfortunate for beasts and humans that arrived here due to the dissolution of the boundary between dimensions. They came unprepared and unalarmed. The blood-seeking creatures in this dimension killed everything that came across their paths mercilessly.

The collapse and overlap of a dimension usually lasted not in years but centuries. Creatures from the collapsing dimension would only continue to flee through the rifts, thinking that it was their salvation. Tragically, they were just running from one hell into another.

This was especially true for humans. Aside from being hit by the new reality of this ruthless realm, they also needed to fight off the beasts that came into this world along with them.

The beasts were equally in a tight spot. As soon as they landed on the mountains, numerous bloody creatures would instantly surface and penetrate their skin. Once they had accessed their blood vessels, the creature would cause the blood to backflow and kill the monsters.

Instantly, the mountains were all covered in corpses and carcasses. Beasts that tried to escape crashed into the river, becoming yet another floating corpse on it.

Abruptly, a giant rift bigger than any rift before it shredded the sky. An intimidating creature flew out from it.

“Beast deity! It’s the aura of a beast deity!”

Jin Hao saw an explosive number climbing on the screen monitor. A creature had been locked on by the radar.

A chimera of a cow and a horse was the best description to be used on this creature. All its hoofs and its tail burned brightly, while its body was covered by scales that looked as hard as clay bricks.

Its size was relatively small for a beast deity, probably because this was its transfigured form. The beast was “only” five meters high and about seven to eight meter long.

Though he might not be the biggest beast that had arrived in this world, it was definitely the most majestic one.

As it descended and finally settled on one of the peaks, the beast deity surveyed the surroundings consciously, with a pair of eyes that had wisdom in them. It then paced forward leisurely. The river water that splashed on the beast was rapidly evaporated by the flames around it.

The beast deity probably knew it had arrived at an extremely hostile environment. Rings of fire sprang into life and twirled around its body.

It seemed to be wandering aimlessly, only stopping occasionally and stomping its feet. Then, it happened.

Neighhh!!!!!

Along with the low hum, scales on its body beamed in yellow lights. The lights then detached and molded into the shape of a halo.

Schwaff!

About a thousand halos spread out from the beast deity at the center point. Half of them into midair while another half straight at the hillside of a neighboring mountain.

In the next moment, the mountain was sliced in half horizontally. The top part began to slide down and eventually dropped into the river.

The once cone-shaped mountain was turned into a mesa in just an instant! Maroon land on the plateau was exposed, with no life form found on it.

The beast deity continued to hum eagerly. Other beasts, attracted by the call, rushed to the ten-thousand-meter-square platform out of survival instinct.

“Is that the Terraform Ability? That’s absurd!” Zhou Che happened to be a B-tier earth ability user. He was enthused to see the beast deity burst into action.

Terraform was neither a secret technique nor a ridiculously powerful skill. It could be mastered easily by a C-tier. However, the extent and magnitude of the skill was dependent on how powerful the caster was. Usually, only an A-tier could do what the beast deity did. Zhou Che managed to witness how the beast had arranged the earth element when it cast the skill. This would help him greatly in further comprehending the fundamentals of Terraform.

It was just like how a low-tier ancient warrior could be enlightened by watching high-tier ancient warriors fight.

But Qin Feng was tensed up seeing the buildup. He had a bad feeling about what was going to come next.

Poof!

A water pillar suddenly thrust up from the river like water fountains. It shot into the air, turned into dragon form, and splashed on the plateau.

The initially dry maroon land turned into a pool of thick blood. Not only that but something was seen lurking within the viscous pool.

Awoo!!!

The beasts roared terrifyingly. All of them were hit by the water pillars. A human figure then appeared promptly at the front end of the water pillar.

The human figure was covered in blood and appeared in the form of liquid. Their heads remained connected to the water pillar, which made them stand at about ten meters tall.

Both its physical appearance and aura were equally intimidating.

Qin Feng’s eyes opened wide.

“A-tier, Gorefiend!”

They were the intelligent species who ruled the Blood River Realm.

Creatures coming from the collapsing dimensions were turned into the nutrients of this land by them. They were actually a species being watched by the North African Republic Alliance. More precisely, once upon a time, the human alliances had joined forces to annihilate this species. It ended with the Gorefiend being chased into an isolated dimension to thrive without affecting the humans.

The Gorefiends gushed onto the platform and tried to pull the beasts up there into the river. They wanted to bleed them clean and nourish the Blood River. These fiends had no fear as they even tried to bring down the A-tier beast deity.

This was their turf, and it played by their rules.

Qin Feng’s eyes beamed with exhilaration.
