"Lately, I just think you have a problem with me," said Raelle to Hyson. "You're looking for trouble all the time."
"Didn't you name me trouble," reminded Hyson. "What makes you think I'd change?"
"You both come to eat too," called Xiang Weimin. Shui Xian brought a bowl of noodles to Raelle and said, "You have this."
"Why is her bowl special?" asked Hyson.
"Because Raelle doesn't eat instant food. Also, since he is young, Justin has the same share and can't eat these instant noodles. But you can share the instant noodles with us," said Shui Xian.
"So much biasedness," commented Hyson.
"I can share mine with you, Uncle Fai," offered Justin as he extended his small bowl towards Hyson. This chapter's initial release occurred on the N0v3l-B1n site.
Hyson smiled at this little one lovingly, "No, you eat it. I might be shameless but I don't wanna snatch food from a kid. Also, you need to grow taller. Eat well and grow up fast. Then I'll take you out on more camping trips to different places."
"I wanna learn piano too," said Justin.
"Oh, when did you become interested in that?"
"I heard Uncle Fai has won a lot of medals in piano. I thought it'd be fun."
"If you wanna learn piano, the best teacher would be my mum." Hyson smiled to himself and then sighed, "But you can't communicate with her yet. So, I'll take this arduous task. If you become interested in playing basketball, look for your Aunt Wai!"
"Yes! I'm here for it!" said Xiang Wai.
"What about Daddy?" asked Justin.
"I'll teach you how to fix a fuse? Or how to do plumbing? I can also do woodwork. What do you want to learn? I have a lot of other skills too." Hyson chuckled, "Ge, you look like those coaching center representatives. You're trying to sell yourself here."
"As if anyone would like that," retorted Shui Xian.
"Why are you all talking in riddles? What's the story? Hey, Fai, you tell me. Share some gossip with your elder sister too," Xiang Wai looked ready to hear some gossip right now and looked at Hyson eagerly.
Before Hyson could say anything, Shui Xian covered his mouth with his hand, "I'll just tell myself. You stay silent."
Hyson blinked to show his agreement so Shui Xian removed his hand from his mouth and wiped it on Hyson's shirt too making him gape at him.
Shui Xian didn't pay attention to his reaction and took a deep breath to share. "It happened before my sister was born. My father wanted a daughter badly and didn't see eye to eye with me. One day, he took me ice skating. He put me in a tutu and even made me wear makeup and pony in my hair with a cute bear headband. So, it's not that I can do figure skating, it's just my father making trouble and creating embarrassing childhood stories to share with me. Worse part? My mother actually became a part of his joke and recorded everything in video and pictures. I think I removed everything but from Fai's reaction, I believe Bà tricked me again."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," was Xiang Wai's genuine reaction. She patted his shoulder, "Poor you. You had evil parents."
"Tell me about it. They were certainly having fun with me when I was young and incapable of knowing any better for myself. I highly doubted if they were really my parents."
"Where are those photos and videos?" asked Raelle.
"I don't care where they are but you of all people are not watching it," said Shui Xian.
"Why not?"
"No means no, wife!"
"Ge is right," said Hyson. "This should be give and take. But since Ellie doesn't have any embarrassing stories or memories to share. You should stay away from his embarrassing memories too."
Shui Xian gave him an appreciative look, "Thankfully, you have something nice to say."
Hyson laughed, "Sorry! I didn't wanna mention this either but I couldn't stop myself. I always wondered though. Did you really leave ice skating because of your injury or because of these embarrassing memories."
"Anything is possible." Shui Xian didn't wanna mention anything else apart from this.
