Chapter 1361 Under Attack
Shui Koshing sighed to himself as put down the game console in his hands and said, "I am actually very curious about something."
"About what?" asked Hyson as he unceremonially bit into the cheese sticks he had in his hands. "About what goes in that head of yours," said Shui Koshing. "I really want to see the world from your eyes for once. It seems like a whole different kind of world when you speak of it. I feel like you and I have been living in two different worlds all this time. That's what makes me curious to know what the world is actually in your eyes."
Hyson put down the plate and took the napkin to wipe his hands as he looked at Shui Koshing, "Uncle Shing, the truth is, we are all in the same world but we all make a different world for ourselves with our own choices and our perception. I'm not alone whose world is different from yours. Have you sat down with your daughter-in-law ever to discuss this? I assure you, the way she sees the world is even more bizarre than I do."
"I have had an idea of that too," answered Shui Koshing. "But as I said, I'm just curious about this different world you guys see."
"Curiosity is good," said Hyson.
"Is it though? If it was, why would people say that curiosity killed the cat?"
"Having no curiosity makes life really dark. Curiosity is a fun factor in your life. Something to look forward to."
"I'll keep that in mind," said Shui Koshing.
"Hey!"
Both of them looked upstairs at Raelle who was standing against the railing looking at them. Her eyes settled on Hyson as she said, "I believe you came here to add fun into my Bà's boring daily life. Right? Don't talk nonsense with him here. Do your job well of entertaining him."
Hyson's lips twitched as he felt a nerve ticking in his brain at the moment. He glared at her as he asked, "Is my job entertaining people?"
Hyson took deep breaths. Long and deep breaths. He kept doing it for a full minute before he calmed down to face Raelle, "I'm really sad."
"It's a good thing to experience this sadness sometimes too," was Raelle's response.
"I clearly am not your target. I'm just taking the burnt of the flames that someone else set. Why don't you just tell me who did it? I'd love to get back to that person!"
It was clear that he could tell that someone else got on Raelle's nerve but he was the one who decided to come in front of her at that very moment to let her fire her shots at him. Of course, going along with everyone's plans were not really setting well with Raelle right now. Also, for some reason, she was just finding Hyson's face not to her liking today. So, he was under attack for this simple reason.
"Raelle, how was your day?" asked Shui Koshing as he tried to divert her attention. "Xian would be late today since his meeting is running late. So, let's wait for him together, okay?"
"I know, Bà," replied Raelle to him. "By the way, Mr. Know-It-All!"
"What?" Hyson replied since he knew she was addressing him right now.
"Do you know that my sister has proposed to your brother already?" Hyson paused when he heard that question and looked at her, "What? When did that happen?"
"Oh, so there is something that you don't know as well. Quite behind on your news. What a shame to the name of Mr. Know-It-All!"
Hyson breathed out the breath he was holding in and smiled at her, "Better late then never, right? Uncle Shing, I'm gonna go now. Thanks for your hospitality!"
Seeing him rushing out like his tail was on fire, Shui Koshing looked confused, "Why did he run so fast? Did he get scared of you, Raelle?"
"It's not that easy to scare him. If it was, we wouldn't be here today. It's just that he wants all the details now that he knows that Xiang Wai proposed to Zhai Yanjun."
Shui Koshing nodded his head, "Then, daughter-in-law, I'd also go and hear about this. I'll come back to share the details with you later."
