CHAPTER START---
---March 3rd, 2315, 2:17 PM...
"What's up everyone!" Present Mic yells out as he enters a dimly lit viewing room, holding popcorn in one hand and a can of soda in the other.
He's immediately greeted by the annoyed looks of Eraser Head and Vlad King, and a polite wave from Nezu.
Ms. Midnight, Ectoplasm, and Snipe all stay focused on the wall of monitors before them, taking notes on their clipboards.
"What? Nobody else brought snacks?" Present Mic asks as he sits beside Snipe.
"This isn't a show Mic, it's a training exercise," Eraser Head says.
"Every time these classes clash they put on a main event...you did keep Horizon out of this one too, right?"
"No," Vlad King says. "We need him involved in this one, but he isn't on Team 1A or Team 1B, we want to see how they deal with an insurmountable third party."
"Translation, how good the kiddies can play nice when a bigger threat is on the field huh, because sometimes they'll have to work with Pro Heroes they don't like, right?" Mic asks.
"Precisely," Nezu says. "I recommended that we call over the Ketsubutsu students to really test that, but Eraser didn't want Ms. Joke here..."
"If you met her you'd know why," Eraser grumbles.
"I think you two are cute together," Midnight teases. "Are you sure nothing ever happened there?"
"Well---"
Eraser cuts off Present Mic, "focus on the students please," Eraser growls out.
As fights begin breaking out all across the simulation metropolis Training Ground Beta, the teachers notice one particular student not moving.
Not even attempting to gain a single point.
---At the same time...
Sitting atop a 7 story building, Horizon has his feet hanging over the side as he snacks on some pieces of chocolate.
Noticing massive explosions erupting in the distance, constantly shaking the entire training ground, Horizon is unbothered as he senses Bakugo trying and failing to land a hit on Juzo.
He glances to his left, where Scalpel hovers in place, and looks toward the other end of the training area where Todoroki and Manga are having an intense fight.
Even from here he can feel the air becoming more humid, he can smell the ozone on the wind as they throw fire, ice, and lightning at each other.
"I expected you to jump into the fight and collect all their points," Eraser's voice speaks through Horizon's earpiece.
"Busy..."
"Eating chocolate?"
"Jiro made me this for valentines day, it would be disrespectful not to eat it," Horizon says.
"So did Yaoyorozu, and about half the girls in UA who left gifts for you at the dorm, do you plan to sit on that roof and eat all the candy you got?"
"No, I plan to give Eri most of it when you aren't looking," Horizon chuckles.
"Don't...but seriously, you won't get any points at this rate."
"And we'd like to see how they work together against you," Nezu adds.
"I figured, but I don't descend to challenge people weaker than me, that's bullying, and well...they're beneath me," Horizon shrugs. "But I'm sure some of them will come to me, actually..."
Horizon leans forward slightly and looks down the side of this building, on which is Red Riot -Kirishima-, with his fingers hardened and clawing into the side of the building allowing him to scale the smooth wall leading up to Horizon.
"Uhh---" Kirishima is still a dozen meters below Horizon, awkwardly looking up at him.
"I figured that collapsing the stairs would be a big enough hint not to bother me," Horizon eats another piece of chocolate, staring at Red Riot who was now frozen in place, not sure what to do.
"Well I fig---"
"Takt," Horizon says loudly enough for him to hear.
"Wait!" The slab of wall Red Riot is on begins to crack. "WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!!" he screams as it breaks away from the building and he falls 6 stories down to the street below.
As Red Riot is crushed by the piece of wall he was climbing moments ago against the street, Horizon resumes his snack.
"He's not bad, but, not quite what I'm looking for, Tokoyami really is the only option."
Horizon looks out into the distance, focusing on another fight, Monoma and a few of his classmates chasing after Deku and slowly gaining ground against him.
"Deku, he'd probably be a good choice, at least physically making up for what they lack, but his mentality isn't any good for us," Horizon sighs. "If he wasn't so obsessed with being a mini All Might he could fill in the gaps pretty well..."
As Horizon is enjoying his snack, he suddenly stops chewing and turns around, looking at the barbed tipped arrow that was frozen in the air behind him.
A wave of blue energy vapor wafts off him as the force of her strike moves through him, not hurting his body but cracking the concrete at his feet.
After the clash he casually steps to the side and pushes her fist away, only to lean his head backward as another arrow zips past his face.
He glances at Genesis through the corner of his eye as she loads another bolt, and he keeps focus on her even while his fist clashes with Battle Fists and constantly pushes her back.
With every hit he feels himself get more comfortable with this variation of Booster Shot, just as she feels more and more of the super strong bones in her hand and fingers break with each clash.
Eventually Genesis loads a bolt into the crossbow, this one slightly thicker than the others, something she's spent months thinking about for a moment just like this.
She nods at Froppy, signaling for the girl to also join the melee with Battle Fist, and as she does Genesis begins the other half of this combo.
As both girls rush in, Genesis lines up her perfect shot, their only chance at gleaming victory against this force of nature.
Between all the attacks Horizon doesn't notice Froppy adjusting a bead hidden beneath her tongue.
All the attacks he dodges, as expected, makes him cocky.
The girls expected this, and they truly were doing their best, because he would notice otherwise. But they knew they could beat him head-to-head.
Yet instead of a true victory, they only wanted progress.
If they could land one hit, it would be enough for them.
Uravity returns to the rooftop with Emily now awake in her arms and land beside Genesis.
The girls share a few glances and immediately get to work.
As the fight goes on and Horizon toys with their friends, Uravity uses her Quirk on Genesis's unique bolt, and Emily activates her Quirk on it.
Her face immediately drenched in sweat as she pushes her Quirk to the absolute limit.
And at the perfect moment where Horizon sidesteps an enlarged fist from Battle Fist, Genesis fires her weightless bolt.
It moves faster than any bullet or artillery, much faster than Horizon expected, but still slow enough that he can react to it.
Because even this projectile couldn't outdo the speed of his thoughts.
But he didn't react to it, by choice, because as he sidesteps Battle Fist's arm, the projectile slams into her forearm, shattering it completely and barely missing his head.
But what he didn't expect was for it to collapse in on itself on impact, releasing an orange gas that instantly clings to his Hero Costume and visor.
A combination of Emily's Quirk and Genesis's special creation built with the extremely rare material of his costume in mind.
His vision is immediately blocked as the gas coats his visor in an orange substance.
SHAMBLES!
He warps away, only focused on his Hero Costume and body, but the substance stays with him even as he swaps places with Battle Fist.
"Its bonded to my suit, what the---"
As he's confused Froppy opens her mouth after cracking the bead, and taking advantage of the fact that sensing suck thin gasses is something he has to specifically put effort into, blows out a purple mist from her mouth.
It's instantly attracted to the orange and clings to it, as they both begin burning his Hero Costume.
A special nanite fusion to cling to him and ignite like thermite on his body.
Not something that they could even use on villains, but for this scenario, principal Nezu gave Genesis his permission, because Horizon was beyond any villain...
---HPSC President Pantu's Office...
"Lady Pantu!" A man bursts into the room, causing Pantu to look up from her paperwork with a stone cold façade.
"What is it?"
"We figured out what the hacker from a few weeks ago stole!" he says while frantically rushing over to her and placing some files on her desk.
She immediately takes the files and begins looking over them, and for one of the rare moments she loses her focus and shows an emotion.
Dropping Façade as confusion shows on her face, "this doesn't make any sense, they could have stolen anything, but they only took this, are you sure?"
"Yes ma'am, we made sure, what should we do, should we alert him?"
Pantu ponders it for a moment, but decides to let this play out and see what happens, "no, even if they stole a copy of the building layout, there isn't anyone in the world stupid enough to break into Horizon Tower..."
---Minato Tokyo...
Standing atop a skyscraper opposite Horizon Tower, a dapper gentleman with gray hair, wearing an exaggerated street magician styled tuxedo sips from a cup of tea.
Beside him a short woman, less that 4ft -120cm- tall with bright red pigtails in a matching costume also sips from a cup of tea, looking at Horizon Tower.
"Today is the day La Brava," the man says. "Today we write our names in the grandest halls of villainy, today, we break into Horizon Tower, and steal ourselves a trophy..."
END CHAPTER---
Someone actually guessed that Gentle and La Brava were the ones to hack the commission, congratulations...
