Adam's expression became quite subsided when he saw how she expressed herself.
A gilded prison. One which at first glance seemed like a perfect place but in the end was nothing more than a place of pain and suffering for the one living there.
"Don't show this expression. You see Adam. Our family is quite the cursed one."
Adam gave a bitter smile at this understatement.
"If you are still alive, does that mean Adam as well? I am talking about the first."
"Hum…Honestly, I don't know."
Eve shrugged. "My life as a Human ended when I was around 800 years old. Then I was imprisoned here. From the books I read, Adam lived until he was 930 years old. I think he should be in heaven now. " [1]
She seemed quite uncaring about the destiny of her husband. But when you thought about it, this was quite understandable.
He doubted their marriage was the happiest one.
"Either way, I quite like it here. I guess it's basically like being given a service for the community."
"Heh. So what now? Should I call you Grandmother? Grandma?"
Even though he was joking, Adam felt a headache when he remembered once again that he was the direct grandson of the first two humans to ever exist.
Eve was taken aback at first but then laughed out loud, "While l I not particularly mind being called so. I would rather be simply called by my name. It has been quite a long time since someone other than that woman called me thus."
Her laugh was elegant and filled with joy.
Adam wasn't the first of her grandchildren to visit this place. But he was the first to be so cheeky and she liked it.
She was sure that sooner or later he would change. Power and Time always change people.
In a few hundred years, the cheeky boy in front of her would be no more. So she wished to savor those short hundred years in peace.
She stopped laughing and waved her hand at him so that he came closer.
"Since you found the answer. I will give you your rewards as I promised. This is even better since you have the Crown Chakra currently. But first, I need to apologize."
"I used your mother's love for you to further my own agenda."
Eve spoke candidly but there was a genuine apology in her eyes.
"She wished to stop your transformation and though I gave her one solution, I knew she would fail. After all, some destinies are absolute. This is why–."
A map appeared in her hand.
" — Take this."
Adam opened the map that had a golden apple drawn on the back.
"In many mythological societies, there exist different versions of the Fruit of Longevity or immortality."
"The first and most known ones besides the Apple from Eden are the peaches of immortality from the garden of the Queen Mother of the West. Even though I know the way, I will not tell you. After all, for a mortal, eating those peaches would only bring suffering." [2]
"...What do you mean?"
"Immortality, you see, is both a gift and a curse. For true immortality to happen, both the body and the Soul must be immortal."
She continued absentmindedly, "The fruit of immortality of the Heaven court only gives three thousand years of life. But you see… No human soul can withstand this. In the end, they will simply become mindless husks as their bodies continue to still wander."
This was the price of immortality for humans.
"There is also the fact that after your father wreaked havoc in Heaven alongside the Stone Monkey, the guard surrounding those peaches was increased."
Adam felt so confused as so much information was thrown at him one after another.
He was surprised to hear that Cain seemed to have fought alongside Sun Wukong.
This made him wonder exactly how powerful Cain was.
But now wasn't the time.
He was being given a way to save his mother.
"Where does this map lead exactly?"
Eve grinned, "Your mother has deep Karmic ties with one specific mythological group. That is the Nordic gods."
She then pointed at the map, "After the last cycle of Ragnarok, a fragment of Idunn's garden fell in Midgard. Earth if you will. This is a map of that place. Once your mother obtains the Golden apple, her body will go back to what it once was and even more." [3]
Of course, he will have to go at a specific time and place but she was sure that by then, he would be much stronger and able to succeed.
Adam felt his breathing become difficult.
The map in his hand suddenly felt so much heavier.
This was literally the lifeline of his mother.
"Thanks. This truly a beautiful reward."
"Huh? What do you mean."
She seemed truly confused, "This is not your reward. This is simply a way for me to wipe out the Karma between me and your mother. With this, I have repaid my debt."
As for your reward, she beckoned him to approach her.
—--
When Adam approached, she pointed a finger and gently touched his forehead.
"Adam, what do you think Primogenitors are?"
It was clearly a rhetorical question as she did not wait for him to answer.
"Primogenitor you see. Represent an imperfect version of what humanity once was. The most supreme and most perfect being created by God in his image. That is what we once were."
As she spoke, a certain pride came into her voice,
"Listen to my voice, close your eyes, and focus."
Adam did what he was told and soon, he felt like he was being sent into the far past.
"We are the last creation made on the sixth day and as such we are the holiest. The ones made in His image.
"When we were created, we received one simple truth.
"Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground."
Her voice sounded ethereal as if coming from all places at once and filling his entire being.
He could feel his blood boiling as a power he did not know seemed to finally awaken.
"Listen Adam. Even though we have fallen. There is one truth that can never vanish.
"Human…Are the Supreme being of the world."
"We are Kings. We are Sovereign and nothing can change this."

Eve smiled as she looked at the book of Genesis floating in front of Adam. This should have been it.
A power that laid dormant in their blood. In the past, that power was an Ex ranked skill, and with it, they could make even the highest celestial submit to them.
Sadly it went and degraded quite a bit. But even so, it was quite a powerful skill.
'Well, this should be pretty useful for him.'
It was when she was thinking about it.
A powerful aura wrapped around Adam as the book begins to tremble.
The page turned as new information appeared,

[1]: Basically old generation humans all lived pretty long. I think Noah lived like 800+. After Noah, I think his children only lived 300+ years. Been a long time since I read the Bible.
After the first deluge that wiped out Nephelim and nearly all creation, the lifespan went down dramatically. From Nearly 1k to 300+ to 200. Then less than 100.
[2]: The Queen Mother of the West appears in the Investiture of the Gods and in Journey to the West as well as in my scriptures. She is the wife of the Jade Emperor. The Heavenly court and all that jazz is a Myth shared by a vast majority of Asia, predominantly China, Korea and Japan. I don't know for the rest as I didn't went too deep.
As for Son Wukong. I believe I have no need to introduce him.
[3]: Unlike most Myths, the gods in Nordic Myth like Odin and Thor etc, were 'Mortal'. They could age and die.
The only way for them to stay young was to eat the Golden apple.
There is a whole Saga about how Loki nearly killed all gods by causing Idunn to be kidnapped. But well. Loki technically brought Odin and Thor death because he fucked a giant and had children with her. Fenrir Killed Odin and Thor die after killing Jormungandr's
(AN: I have a few questions guys.
Do you guys like the Trivia information I give about the myths I mention? I don't remember if I already asked this. I asked this in SHK. But this is a new book with a mostly different audience. If I already asked then I am sorry.
For those who saw my previous cover pictures. Between the previous two covers and the current one, which one is better in your opinion. As in, which one gave you the desire to take a look at the story?
Same question for the Title of the story. Is it an attractive title for you?
I would be happy to have the maximum answer possible.)
