Chapter 107 CH 103: PACIFIC PARK

Viktor who was talking with Sae as he explained some part of his life without alluding too much to the supernatural twitched a little.

As a hunter, while not really a fighter, he still had the basic increase in senses and went through a systematic training to become able to handle 'common' threats until help came.

After what happened in the past, his grandfather had decided that a blacksmith should be able to defend himself to avoid falling into a situation where they were simply pushovers and got killed.

This was why—He was able to hear the hushed voices of Natasha and Adam.

'Real live dramas are really dangerous.'

He gave a look toward Sae, she was a cute pixie-like girl. Though some of her proportions went against this. Then there was Natasha. Another pretty girl and if he wasn't wrong, she certainly wasn't human.

Viktor felt the urge to facepalm. He felt like he was the third—Fourth? wheel in a very complicated date or was serving as a cushion.

He decided to distract himself a little,

"By the way, this is cosplay, right? Is it an original character?"

"This? Heh, it's based on an urban legend that circulating recently."

Sae chuckled, "It seems like some masked heroine moving around and beating bad guys or something. There aren't any pictures but the descriptions are pretty detailed so I gave it a try."

"An urban legend…"

Viktor smile stiffened. What was an urban legend for humans was, 8/10, a true supernatural event that they had simply been unable to completely process.

'If this cosplay is accurate. Hum… an [~S.K~] armors?'

That woman was the only one he knew who would create mini skirts or Kimino and everyday clothes and change them into armor.

She always had a certain sense of fashion and hated movement obstructive and large bulky armor.

Viktor scratched his head, then again this was all a speculation. Even if 80% were true tales, there was still the 20% chance of it truly being nothing but an urban legend made for fun.

'Well, let's hope this won't create any problem.'

On Adam's side, after hearing Natasha's question, he frowned a little then sighed, "We have a special relationship. That's all I am willing to say now."

"But you are not in a couple."

"...I guess you can say so."

"Very well. That was all I needed to know."

Natasha grinned and walked faster until she reached Sae and placed her arm around her shoulder.

"So, tell me, midget. What other plans do you have?"

"Well, I have many plans. But everything depends on Viktor. Do you want something more cultural? Fun? or perhaps…"

The movement she made with her hands was obscene enough for Viktor to understand the meaning.

Sae laughed at the embarrassed expression the shy young man showed. LA had many places where males could receive 'interesting' service.

She didn't know their emplacement personally, but she knew they were easy to find on by using the Map.

Viktor looked around. Truth be told, he was not really interested in culture. The whole of America was the country with the weakest link to mythology in general. The few links they had were tied to the Maya and Aztecs who were more prevalent in Mexico.

There were also myths developed by the Native tribes. But most of them were lost and buried in the sand of time.

Once they started working, he would be in the room for a long time and he knew that in the end, his grandfather would lose something important. Either his power or his life.

What he wished for now…Was just to have fun. To unwind and relax.

"I want to have fun."

Sae nodded. "Well, then guys. I guess it's time to do one last shopping…"

"What are you speaking about?"

"Swimsuit. We are going to the pacific park."

[Santa Monica; Pacific Park]

Santa Monica was one of Los Angeles's cities and Pacific park was one of the most frequented places there.

It was an oceanfront amusement park. The park, located on the Santa Monica Pier, looked directly out on the Pacific Ocean, in the direction of Catalina Island.

"This is the only amusement park directly located on the West Coast of the United States located on a pier and LA's only admission-free park."

Sae explained from behind while she sat with Natasha in the back seat. In the end, they decided to take the car Adam came with. Natasha meanwhile had already called someone to come and take her car.

"Still, this is pretty far."

The distance from Little Tokyo to Pacific Park took 40 mn to cover. Adam sighed as he thought about all the time wasted.

"Well, gotta move more to have fun. We can stay there all day and they have pretty good attractions. Pretty girls all around walking in Bikinis, Good attraction ride. Good food and the sea. What to not like?"

"You seriously sound like an old pervert you know."

Natasha laughed, "Speaking of, Viktor you are from Sweden right, won't it be boring for you to visit a beach?"

"Well, the place I am from is close to the sea indeed. But it isn't exactly friendly for family activities. It's cold and dangerous. Though some people do use it for cold baths in winter."

"Brrr. Cold bath. Can't be me." Sae shuddered but Natasha chortled, "With all the useless fat you have on your chest I am sure you should be cold-proof."

"Heh, then I can guess with your flat board you must be a genius in natation or something. You know, less friction or should I say no friction at all?"

The two growled at each other, giving the impression that a small cat was facing a massive dog.

Adam sighed, "Quiet you two. I feel like a father driving with his troublesome Kids on the back."

"Ohhh! Does that man Viktor the wife?"

Viktor choked on the bottle. "Sorry."

Adam shook his head, took out a tissue, and gave it to him, "Don't worry. If you stay a while, you will get used to Sae's weird jokes."

"Haha…"

All Viktor could do was give an awkward laugh as he looked outside and watched the street. Far in the distance, he could see the iconic large Hollywood words on the hills.

He had seen it in a few shows, so it was pretty interesting to see them in person.

"We can visit Hollywood later if you want. Through this time you will have to ask Natasha. You should see her house. This was the first time I see true living maid. I was shocked."

Natasha shrugged at Sae's words. "You two are welcomes to come whenever you want. Though I doubt I will be a good guide. I don't know much outside of my house."

Natasha was still pretty new in America all things considered. Spending much of her life in Russia and after coming here, she couldn't exactly just walk around.

Even now, she was sure that she had a few bodyguards following her. In the past, she had been able to chase them away, but after what happened recently, she couldn't exactly say now.

"Anyways guys…We are finally here. So, let's have some fun shall we?"

Sae laughed when Adam finally stopped the car.

She hadn't been entirely honest with her reason for coming to this park. There were a few things she had always wanted to try and it seemed like this would be the perfect occasion for her.

She wished to try this initially in the previous shop hall, but with her cosplay, it would have been too much a pain.

Now though…

'Heheh…This is going to be fun.'

Natasha gave a look filled with confusion at Sae. One moment everything was normal but suddenly, Sae was releasing so much pheromone.

Natasha knew pretty well what this new scent means.

Sae was currently in heat.

'Don't tell me.'

She looked at Adam and Sae, remembering what they did the last time they escaped classes.

It seemed like her friend wished to do the same again.
