As the sun — or whatever served as a sun in this alternate dimension began to dim, Sae walked unsteadily while wearing gym clothes. Her body was covered in sweat and her expression was haggard.
'Fuck this shit.'
She frowned as she felt hundreds of muscles she had no idea even existed aching.
Unlike the potion class which was only one of her minors, the flying class and flying combat class were part of her major and the professor keep bashing her as if that old hag had some grudge against her.
The worst was that, whenever she wanted to complain, the prof would say that if she wasn't happy she could ask the principal to fire her.
Sae was not stupid. She understood very well that as a direct student of Bridget, she was given many advantages and those advantages didn't sit well with everyone.
'Still…I don't care.'
She gritted her teeth. No matter how much she was targeted. At the very least, the prof taught her everything and Sae could slowly feel her skills increase.
Some hazing was only a minor price to pray for such a thing. She could even feel some of her very small excess of fat completely drying. Taking away a little of her softness.
'Well, at least my little babies didn't shrink.'
Looking at her massive chest, she drew a weak chuckle as she made a joke for her own self.
In moments like this, she missed Natasha deeply. After all, while they always quarreled, the two of them were without a doubt close friend
Just as she was about to fall in melancholy, she stopped and looked behind her,
"How long do you plan to follow me?"
A young man walked out of the shadow with a smile plastered on his face, "Your sense has sharpened considerably. Should I say as expected of the prime student?"
"Look. I ain't in a good mood. I am tired, my breasts are killing my shoulders, and I just wanna take a shower and sleep. If you have nothing to say then just scram."
"I understand. I am just here on behalf of Lord Radna and asked me to verify if you considered his proposal."
Sae frowned a little before tilting his head, "Who the fuck is Radna."
The young man twitched a little as if he wanted to laugh but had to hold it. In the end, coughing, he simply said, "Like you, Lord Radna is one of the rare cambion in this school and an incubus. He wishes to have you as a mate and bring a new era of Lust Demon."
'This again.'
Sae sighed.
This was another point that had been bothering her.
If in the outside world, demon-blood children were shunned and rejected, in the academy, it was all the opposite.
Those with demon blood were considered something akin to super rare pandas or any race near extinction that needed to be protected at all costs. The purer the blood was the more this was evident.
Furthermore, be it to prolong the bloodline or simply to obtain prestige, many warlocks or mixed-blood families wished to obtain this kind of special bloodline.
Sae had received more than a hundred marriage proposals, some even asked only to lend her womb or one of her eggs and a few were willing to pay millions for her blood or nails and hair.
At the same time, the first lesson she had been taught by her prof was how to erase all spirituality from all the fluids — Even the filthiest.
'Disgusting.'
"Tell that Ragnar —"
"Ragna."
"Potato tomato, same thing. Tell that Rag whatever dude to please not bother me. I am not interested in any relationship."
Her relationship with Adam was too vague for her to use it as an argument even though she wished to say that she was already in a relationship. Furthermore, she feared what would happen to Adam if those people knew his existence.
She did not want to cause trouble to Adam.
'Then again…Can they cause trouble to him?'
She grimaced, feeling a new wave of headache.
"Very well. I will stop bothering you."
"Thanks."
After waving her hand, she continued to walk, feeling tired more than anything until she reached her room.
It was a rather luxurious room, but despite how spacious and grand it was, for her, it was only a place that was used to sleep and even then barely.
In the safety of her room, all her tension left her.
'I wonder where Luvia is.'
She thought with a small gloom. I think you should take a look at
She hated being alone.
She had been in this place for only two weeks now, but she felt like it had been a few years.
In fact, from what she knew there was a very small time difference between the flow of his dimension and the outside.
During those weeks, she would study hard in the morning under the teaching of the professor and she would try catching up at night or have special training with the Principal and Luvia.
This was a tight schedule that made her barf many times but she knew that it was necessary for her if she wished to grow stronger and meet Adam.
Of course, there was another reason. One she did not wish to share with anyone else.
The more she trained, the more occupied she was — The less she had time to think.
She did not want to think. She did not want to sleep and she did not want to stay alone.
A small shiver went down her spine as memory of that day flashed in her mind again causing her to feel revulsion from her very being and a desire to vomit grew.
"Ugh…"
Placing her hands against a wall, she heaved a little as cold sweat covered her face. In the end, she sat with her back against the wall in a fetal position as she tried to fight the small bout of anxiety that was assailing her.
Ever since that day, she had been unable to sleep properly. Not only because of all the caching up she had to do but also because of all the nightmares she was forced to face every time she closed her eyes.
The day her entire life changed.
It had been horrifying. Disgusting, traumatizing and so many other things that she could not properly describe.
On that day, many people died. So much blood and other bits of flesh and blood filled her vision.
Even now, she could still hear the laugh and cry of those demons even as they were being crushed.
She simply wanted to cry.
Until that day, she had just been a simple girl with some lustful tendency. Her greatest worry until that day was her love life and her study to become a lawyer.
This was all.
Now, she was supposed to be some kind of super demon descendant from some other super demon who had nearly been the ancestor of humanity.
She was studying to become a witch in a school floating in the sky and she was surrounded by people she did not know and many people who only saw her as nothing but a womb to raise a new generation of children.
Truth be told.
— She was scared.
She was fighting with despair-fueled emotion and constantly had to keep a strong front when facing everyone else.
The only thing that helped her hold on was one promise.
The promise to be allowed to go out and meet him.
"Adam…"
She wished to see him so much. She wanted to talk to him and ask him just what was happening.
She had the feeling that in this vast world, he was the only one she could trust.
It was a weird feeling of dependence. One that went beyond the simple lust she had been feeling and the small sprout of love that had been building.
It felt like Adam was the only one in this world that would never betray her no matter what happened in the world.
No ... .It felt like she was someone who could not live without.
She shuddered a little. The thought of Adam driving the gloom that had been seizing her heart until now.
Her heartbeats became more regular and the fear and disgust slowly left her.
Finally taking a deep breath, she stood up and shook her head.
This was now a common occurrence.
And every time she had such an attack, thinking of Adam would slightly relieve her tension.
She wanted to him.
"Adam, where are you?"
Leaving this question unanswered she walked to the shower. She still had to study this night.
