Chapter 390 CH 376: DREAMSCAPE AGAIN

Chapter 390 CH 376: DREAMSCAPE AGAIN

[Saturday — 6th December 2030 — 00:01 am]

Adam found himself lying down on an operation table inside Medusa's lab. He was clad in nothing but a short that could barely encase his manhood. Above him, a flash of light coming on nearly blinded him of his sight making him involuntarily raise his hand to block it.

"I feel like I am about to be operated by a mad scientist right now."

"Haha. Well, you kinda are, to be frank."

Medusa chuckled as she operated the different machines surrounding her and covered Adam with a gelatinous substance before placing probs all over his body. Those were supposed to help her keep an eye on how Adam's body would react through his dive into dreamscape.

She wanted as much data as possible and this would be tremendously helpful for her future endeavor. In fact, Dreamscape might be an escape route for the future of humanity if they were to face destruction through an apocalypse. Everything would depend on how things went.

This was a big dream and a large endeavor that would most likely fail but if scientists never worked because of the fear of failure then the world would be a very different place than it is now.

"This is the first time I will be able to see a Dreamwalker in action. Are you ready to go into full dive?"

Adam closed his eyes and paid attention to the two souls who were once again in his body after he recalled the first one.

There was something he thought on the fly and now wanted to test. Now was the perfect time for it since he had Medusa near him at the moment. n0ve(l)bi(n.)co/m

Opening his eyes, he grinned at her before speaking in a resolute voice.

"I am ready." As ready as one could be in this situation.

"Very well. Let's start the tests then."

Dreamscape once more.

'Let's do it.'

Adam closed his eyes and started to search deep in his soul, in a place deeper than anywhere else, and finally, he found it— the Pawn Piece which Eve, or rather the White Queen had bestowed on him.

He had seen it once after he left the Dreamscape and it had been completely gray back then. Now though, it was back to being a translucent piece with an otherworldly luster surrounding its very existence.

Adam knew that he had received the green light from the piece to visit the Dreamscape once more.

'Come on.'

It didn't take long for him to open his eyes as excitement bubbled inside of his whole being and euphoria coursed through his veins.

"Get out."

On his words, light flowed from his body and his shadow wiggled before separating from his own body and started forming into humanoid shapes.

Like a viscous mass of black water, they wiggled and moved until finally, what stood in front of him were two men, entirely covered in black and gold from their head to toe, kneeling in front of him and waiting for his orders.

The first one was muscular and looked like a brawler, a black mask covered his face while the second one had a slimmer build and had a black cloak covering him.

Adam grinned.

"It worked."

Since he was trying to walk the path of a King why would he do so without a loyal army? The souls of Miguel and Diego were fused with his body and linked to his soul. Since unlike the power of [World], he could use [Dream] and [Death], he had been wondering if he could bring them with him as they were part of his death power.

The result was more than he could have hoped.

'This is magnificent.'

Dreamscape was a place where one could grow their soul but not much else as one could not use dream force on earth.

But — would ghosts need anything more than the ability to have their souls grow stronger?

'It seems like I will be able to become a necromancer in a way.'

"Let's go."

He jumped out of the crater and the two followed him silently. Their sense of self had been awakened but they were completely blank. He would have to instill in them something suitable.

Clenching his fist, Adam observed the place and started to walk in the direction he remembered.

He had a vengeance to take and a teddy bear to kill and this time — He wasn't alone.
