When Natasha came to herself after the steamy love-making session that educated her of the limits of pleasure that her body and consciousness could endure, she found out that she was now being bathed with hot water inside the bathtub of the bathroom attached to the room.

Immediately, she could feel a powerful heartbeat coming from Adam's strong chest, giving her a feeling of relaxation and calmness amidst the turbulence that her mind was going through after coming out of her first sex session with her lover.

"Did I faint there...?"

"Yep."

Natasha chuckled weakly at his cheeky statement and just decided to close her eyes and relish in the comfort of the bath. She had always heard that a man could never tire a woman when it came to sex.

Soon, moans of joy and pleasure resonated from the bathroom.

Those cries lasted for quite a long time.

His voice was calm., as if bereft of emotions.

"None. But it was happening while he was talking to me about the Mermaid he had kidnapped."

She spoke quietly. The old man was nearly dead by now.

It was always better to avoid people close to death. You never knew what kind of crazy thing they could come up with and do with that last breath of theirs.

She knew very well that the one who had been truly wishing to save the life of the old man, more than the man himself, was none other than Boris... who had already departed for the afterlife.

"I will respect my deal. Goodbye."

Once the call ended she sighed and scratched her hair.

If only everyone was as easy as the wolf pup, then things would have been smooth sailing for her.

"Now. I need to find the anomaly."

She had another job on her hands.
