Genesis was not wrong about how willing Tsubasa would be if Adam only gave the word.
At this moment, she was looking at herself in the mirror, wondering if she should change her clothes or go with the ones she had on her. She was wearing a short shirt with a muted red cardigan. Her legs were covered with two pairs of black stockings.
The temperature may have fallen considerably lately but it did not matter much to her. Unless it was some magical cold, she needed no protection from her clothes.
This is it...
Her last date with Adam was half a decade ago and she wanted for the one today to go swimmingly well.
"I swear if someone interrupts us, I will go crazy," Tsubasa spoke in quite an unladylike manner but this only showed how much she was anticipating this moment.
Though it went easier than I imagined. I didn't think he would accept things this easily.
Despite having observed him with her spider for years, the current Adam went through so much in such a short amount of time that he was pretty much unrecognizable in many ways.
But she loved him. Be it the him in the past or the him at the moment and even if he were to become a demon, she would still love him.
Her love was blind and perhaps obsessive but it was still HER love and she would let no one trample on it.
Walking out of her room in the hotel, Tsubasa went ahead and knocked on the door of the room where Mark was resting.
"You can enter."
Unsurprisingly, the room was filled with documents and Mark could be seen standing with a dark circle under his eyes.
The mission was extremely stressful and despite all his efforts, new big players kept appearing, causing Mark to be under mind-crushing stress.
Tsubasa almost felt bad about telling him she was going. Almost
"Oh, Tsubasa how have you been? Give me a second, I need to finish this call."
Tsubasa felt as giddy as a teen. It was going to be so much fun.

[Eiffel Tower.]
In the restaurant at the top of the most known and visited tower of the world, Gilles de Ray was observing the sky covered in dark clouds with a peaceful expression.
In his hand was a wine with a beautiful red, akin to blood. He took a deep breath and filled his nose with the scent of the wine before sipping it.
On the bottle, one could see the number 1431, indicating the age of the wine.
This was quite shocking as most wine beyond a hundred years would taste anything but wine. Yet the man was drinking a 600 year old wine as if it was the most delicious thing to have ever existed.
"Is it...?" A low voice sounded next to him but Gilles did not bother looking in its direction.
"Her blood. A wine is made with it as the base. I was able to conserve it with magic but as expected. Even magic cannot keep the taste of something so old."
His expression was calm but the look of regret in his eyes was evident.
"Do not worry. Soon, you will not have to use something like this to reminisce about her."
"You are right." Gills nodded, sipping once again the wine. Today was a special day. The day he would get the one he loved back.
He had been working for more than 600 years for this one moment and he was sure that victory would taste sweeter than anything.
"We have to move the ritual forward because of Moriarty and Sherlock's unusual movement. But all of this was within the margin of error we had in mind. Nothing will stop the resurrection of the one we have been waiting for."
The voice chuckled, "The descent of the The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young will be a day of celebration."
Gilles gazed at the fanatic and laughed alongside him. This would definitely be a moment that would be remembered in history.
