"Yuri, we have a situation," Mark said into the walkie-talkie. "Choi Sung's badly injured. He lost one of his arms. Dona is evolving."
"Oh?" Yuri seemed sleepy, but she still answered. "We can't contact orthodox Hunters with healing abilities for Choi Sung. He is a criminal in the end, is it that bad?"
"He lost his entire left arm, and blood is flowing out in buckets full… are you even listening?"
"..."
"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck. I am too sleepy," She said, "Mark, tell him to use his ice on his wound and freeze it. At the same time, ask him to use hot fire to warm his body from the inside. This should help stem the bleeding while not destroying the tissues."
Mark looked at Choi Sung and directly used that command as a…
Heart Input!
Choi Sung growled in pain and used Yuri's strategy to stem the bleeding.
Mark sighed.
This Hunter was too weak. He was useless.
A long time passed inside the truck.
"Dona finally stopped thrashing about," Mark said into the walkie-talkie. "Damn, she bathed me full of black liquid that splashed out of her when she evolved…"
"Hot," Yuri said, her voice dragging. "Well, I will try getting contact with some underground healer."
Cut.
Mark looked at Dona's tired but pretty face. She was unconscious, too.
He closed her lax mouth with a gentle hand and looked at her current body. While so defenselessly asleep like this, she looked like the most precious thing.
Her curves were more prominent through her wrinkled white T-shirt, and she was more slender. Mark gently ran his hand through her toned belly, and she stirred slightly. Her red thighs were firm and tight, her legs slender and long. The cute butt of hers was tight like most of her body yet, her truly feminine parts were as soft as dough.
His hands gently caressed those areas as he admired Dona's demonic beauty.
Her dark horns were slightly curved, very sharp, too. Neck of hers was so kiss-worthy, he wouldn't have even cared for the black liquid all over her if it wasn't so smelly.
Her hair was a long shaded gray. As he gently caressed her horns, though, the woman's eyelashes fluttered open and she looked at him with her pearl-like red eyes.
Indeed, her gaze had grown deeper.
She sniffed.
Then pulled herself up from her lying posture using his neck as a hold, and then, embraced him tightly like a baby before laying her head on his shoulder. Her pointy ears gently brushed against his cheeks. Then, she fell asleep, sitting comfortably on his lap and holding him tightly, as if she was afraid he would leave her otherwise.
And he could feel her small tail brushing against him.
A small tail?
It poked his crotch gently but it was too short to be very noticeable. Only that had appeared as a new body part in her body. It was a pity she didn't get wings, too.
Mark couldn't help but chuckle.
He gently caressed the top of her head and kissed her horns.
"Well, you like your spot on my lap, don't you?"
He looked at her stats.
What demonic trick had his little demoness gained?

Mark looked at her new demonic trick with intense eyes:
[Fire Seal (Low) (Tier 1)].
Unlike her already existing demonic tricks, this new-born demonic trick was a Tier-1 Low-level trick from the start.
That was relieving. Good.
When Mark evolved into a Lower Demon, the demonic trick he had gotten was 'Dream Gambler's Mortal Puppet,' and that trick didn't have any Tier limitations or what-not and only worked on Mortals, so he had been left with no way to handle even a Lower Demon of the weakest level.
He had been rather vulnerable.
Dona won't be in that struggle at least. Even if he doesn't help her, which he did plan to do, she could cope by herself against weak Lower Demons if she could use Fire Seal against them.
And this was also new knowledge to him.
So, if he evolves again and gets an offensive or defensive demonic trick after evolving, it would start at the 'Low' of the said Tier!
He looked at the further details of 'Fire Seal.'
[Fire Seal]
[Tier 1–Low]
[The demonic trick allows its user to implant a seal of fire on any target by touching them for '30 seconds.' The Seal can then be exploded even from a long distance away.]
[Cost of activation: 10 MP(Mindpower)]
The demonic trick would kill anyone who was a Tier 1 if they were taken off guard. Unless they either had something like Defensive Magic Skin, or Fire Resistance, it would be an easy kill.
It was a good demonic trick. Very useful in battles if used well.
Even for their current goal to fight the Laboratory Dungeon and tame the Dungeon Demon by stealing its Dungeon Core, her demonic trick would be very useful.
The walkie-talkie streamed into service again, and Yuri's sleepy voice echoed inside the truck.
"I contacted a criminal B-Rank Hunter with a Healing Ability in dark web. The man is dangerous but he is a VIP among criminals and he does what he offers with hundred percent credibility," she said, "But he is extremely expensive—I had to give him nearly half a million dollars and he won't be able to heal Choi Sung's arm completely back to shape either."
Mark couldn't help but be curious. "Where do you even get that much money?"
"Of course, I am a scientist. Drugs." She laughed softly. "I made a lot of money when I was young, for whatever I seem like, I am a young billionaire. Just that most of my normal banking methods are blocked due to being a known criminal."
Mark was speechless.
"Will the Healer come soon?" he asked.
"Yes." Then, Yuri warned seriously, "Mark, don't hurt him when he comes or show yourself. This Healer has an A-Rank brother backing him behind the scenes. Just in case, move Choi Sung away from the Laboratory Dungeon. We don't want the guy seeing the Dungeon and making trouble for your plans."
The following few hours were complicated but simple at the same time.
Mark drove the truck—yes, since he couldn't enter the driver's seat due to his size, he just pushed it from the back and, when he reached a hill, let it move on its own.
He moved the truck out of the city into a barren highway surrounded by forestry. Then, Mark himself hid in the skies with Dona in princess carry and watched with interest.
The whole process of healing Choi Sung's hand was not too much either.
A bunch of teenagers who seemed to have been incredibly high in drug abuse came in a jeep and entered the truck with jeers on their faces.
One of them, an effeminate man—who seemed largely sane—entered the truck and, first removed the ice over Choi Sung's hand with hot water, then, he performed his Hunter Ability.
The sight of the healing was particularly amusing.
The surrounding young, drug-abused people all turned into skeletons and then ash. The ash then moved around near Choi Sung's shoulders, and a stump began to regrow into an arm.
Soon enough, a very weak hand had regrown in its place and the Healer calmly walked out of the truck. On the way, he left a mobile number on Choi Sung's forehead, written with black ink. Added to that was the image of pink lips—a kiss mark.
Mark just watched and didn't interfere. When he noticed that Choi Sung was safe overall, he silently mixed into the clouds and vanished.
He had no reason to really protect Choi Sung. Truly, Mark didn't mind if the youth died. But he, too, was one of Mark's men.
Still somewhat useful.
For now though, Mark's goal was back in the Laboratory Dungeon. But before that, he'd like to clean himself up a bit. With this stench around him, his senses were a bit hampered.
His wings flapped and he vanished into the horizon.
