Yuri threw the towel Mark had created out of a small rock back to him.
"You seem to have some plans?" he asked, blinking.
Yuri licked her lips. "Let Dona rest inside the World Space."
Mark made sure that Dona was comfortably laid inside his World Space before he focused back on Yuri.
The Scientist pointed at the towel in his hand and asked, "How did you make this towel?"
Mark answered simply: "I took out a small rock from inside my World Space, and transformed that rock into the towel in your hand. It was simple."
Yuri nodded. "Do you know how a towel works?"
"Hmm… I guess I know what it can do but not how it is made or anything."
Yuri nodded. She liked his way of letting her handle the more scientific parts of the discussion. "But even the most simple thing in life like a towel is not that simple. You know what? A towel is made rougher than clothes that are made to be worn. It is so that it would dry our face and body better.
Towels are mostly made using cotton, too."
"I knew that," he said.
"Yes. Now, think of polyester. If a towel was made using polyester, it wouldn't do its job well. Polyester doesn't absorb moisture, I bet you would find it irritating if your towels were made of polyester. But the fact is, you didn't think about cotton and all that before you transformed that rock into a towel, did you?"
"I didn't," he accepted, eyes twinkling slightly. "I just thought I wanted a cloth that would be comfortable to use to dry myself and the rock changed into a towel."
Yuri snatched the towel away from him and smirked. "This thing is cotton. You didn't know how cotton was created, nor did you know how it came to be. But you can still create cotton out of thin air because you know what cotton feels like to you."
"So where are you heading with all this?"
Yuri said, "At first, I had my guesses. For you to turn your demon body into what now resembles a human body, it took quite some effort, right? You had to learn how human anatomy works and perfectly emulate the same thing without a single error. It was quite a tall task.
"So I understood. You can change anything into anything as long as you know what you want to change from what to what."
Mark nodded, feeling he was close to something.
Yuri continued with a deep gaze. "This power is scarier than I first expected it to be—with this, you can completely destroy any civilization. Atleast their commerce. Even a civilization as powerful as the Demon civilization would have to be afraid of you even though you are supposedly weak compared to the strongest demons."
Mark's heart skipped a beat. Why would the demon civilization—which probably had even Tier 9 or Tier 10 beings running it from behind the scenes—fear a mere Middle Demon? What did he have that could make the top dogs themselves take him seriously?
Yuri seemed dead serious. She threw the towel back to him. "Mark, turn this towel into a diamond."
Mark didn't question and turned the towel into a diamond. It looked, felt, and even smelled the same as a diamond.
She snatched it away from his hand. "This is really close to an actual diamond. If you knew how its chemical bonds worked, you could create a genuine diamond itself out of mud. Right? Do you see what I am getting at now?"
"What?" Mark felt like he had the answer but it was too hard to believe.
Yuri clenched her hands and the diamond cracked in the middle. She was a super powerful Hunter herself. She looked at him intently. "No matter what world we go into, there will be a unique currency in that world. For example, in the hunter World, we had credits and paper money.
And in any civilization that is advanced enough, there will be another currency But you can turn anything you touch into that currency.."
Mark nodded, his mind reeling toward the final key to this simple puzzle.
"What is the currency of the Demon World?"
"Seals of Destiny and Portal Keys," he said, throat dry.
Yuri grinned, a crazy grin it was. "Then, doesn't that mean if you analyze and understand how a Seal of Destiny and Portal Key work, you can also create those by transforming mud into Seals of Destiny and Portal Keys?"
Mark stood rooted to his spot as excitement simmered in his heart.
"Not only that. If you go to some other world, as long as you get your hands on their currency, you can mass duplicate it and become the richest in one go."
"I can have infinite Seals of Destiny then…" he said with an even more disbelieving expression on his face. That was outrageous. Beyond outrageous. If he could copy things like that as many times as he wanted, he could indeed cause the collapse of a civilization's commerce all by himself.
Even strong beings would have to tremble in front of him.
"Reol'ran, do you think this is possible?"
She was silent for a long moment before she said, "I can't believe I didn't think of this before. Yes, if you can understand how a Seal of Destiny and Portal Key works, you can create them yourself. Touch a rock, and turn it into your version of Seal of Destiny. In the end, they are also just… things."
Mark stifled a disbelieving laugh. He could create his own biggest cheat himself!
It was indeed true. No matter what kind of world he would go into in the future, they all would have their own currency, and since he had Alchemic Shapeshifting, he could totally become the richest on day one!
"This Alchemic Shapeshifting is so scary," Yuri said. "Even scarier than I first thought it was. You could conquer worlds only using that and nothing else." Sёarch* The NôᴠeFire.ηet website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
As long as he could get a single Seal of Destiny and Portal Key, he could analyze it and create its copies. He would be richer than most Upper Demons and even Demon Kings in a single day if he could create thousands of Seal of Destiny in a day.
He could buy a Residence in the Demon City and then continue buying. He could buy the entire city!
Mark felt chills go down his spine.
It sounded implausible.
