Chapter 226: Hundredfold Learning Art

Mark's gaze roamed around his surroundings. His heart was a bit uncalm, his mind filled with questions that seemed to have no answer.

Dream Input.

The dream he inputted into himself using that Ultimate Demonic Art was not completely decided by himself. It was more of a subconscious decision right at the moment of activation. When he activated it earlier, he had inputted a dream into himself and now, he was very conflicted.

Mark felt as if he had experienced a whole other life in that dream.

In that dream, he had a weird mother who was obsessed with him to the degree she seemed mental, and she had a lot of ghostly behavioral patterns. Of course, the women hid that side of her from him with relegious attention.

In that life, he also had a father who was absent almost entirely throughout his life. And Mark had a feeling that he was not the woman's son at all, but a child stolen from someone at a young age by the women.

That would also make the absent father scenario make sense in a unique way.

He never had a father that the mother could interact with.

And in that dream, he had the great dream of attaining absolute freedom.

Even the obsessed mother was an irritation to him because of her restricting his actions. She was an overprotective person. Thus, he had entered a room of treasures and opened a mysterious box—a box that said:Never touch this box. It will make you experience the utmost of all powers.

A cool wind breezed through the area and lifted Mark's hair.

"I experienced the pinnacle," he said with a somewhat pale expression.

In that dream, he was omnipotent. He had reached the absolute pinnacle. Yet, when everything became easily attainable, it was also as if everything lost meaning. When he opened that box to look into it at the end, it was empty.

As if it represented the empty loneliness at the pinnacle.

Does that mean the life of an omnipotent and thus, eternal being is more meaningless than a mortal?

Does… death give meaning to life?

Mark slapped his face with both of his hands and took a deep breath.

What kind of stupid question is that? Why do I need meaning in my life that is not given by myself?

He had long decided on his own meaning. That meaning was in pursuing the epitome of life without any fear in heart and he was going to do that. That gave his life meaning, that made his life worthy of being lived.

Will reaching omnipotence make everything else meaningless?

Mark pushed himself up from the ground and spread out his wings.

Hmph. Omnipotence!

With a jump, he pierced the clouds and flew through the sky like a comet. He was fast—fast enough to surpass the speed of sound. In a second, he was moving so fast that the air itself was like vicious blades.

He protected the hamster under his palms as he flew.

Again, the question echoed in his heart.

Will reaching omnipotence make everything else meaningless?

If you are omnipotent, you could have anything you want with a thought.

You could make a woman who hated you fall in love with you. You could create worlds and destroy them at will. You could transform fantasies into reality.

But if you can have anything as long as you want it, wouldn't that be boring?

Wouldn't everything lose value?

On Earth, they said God was omnipotent.

Mark flew and flew and flew before he came to a halt atop a giant tree. He stood on it, gazing at the dawn sun in the distant horizons. He was thinking, his heart was a bit troubled.

I don't believe in an omnipotent God,Mark thought.

Omnipotence was logically impossible in the first place.

For example, what if an omnipotent God wants to create an unbreakable shield and an unblockable spear at the same time?

Will both not go against each other's fundamental designs?

Or.

Mark chuckled, then sat down on a thick branch and stared at the sun in the distance.

What if a so-called omnipotent God wants to create something outside its own controlt?

He asked himself.

"Can an omnipotent being create a stone so heavy that even they cannot lift it?"

If theycan'tcreate it, they are not omnipotent. If theycancreate it, that means they can't lift the stone and that also means they are not omnipotent.

So, an omnipotent creature was an impossibility in the first place.

That was why Mark didn't believe in an omnipotent God. So, the question of whether being omnipotent makes everything else meaningless didn't matter to him.

Yes, it was his dream to reach the pinnacle of power. But that was to experience the pinnacle of life's various nooks and corners, not to barely reach some fundamentally god-like status that had no meaning in the first place.

He wanted to see the world that no one had seen, and experience taste that no one had tasted. He wanted to bed women who no one could dream of bedding. He wanted to fight the fiercest of all beings the world had seen.

He wanted to reach the pinnacle to reach the pinnacle.

If he died in the process, that was fine. Mark wasn't afraid of death, but he was afraid of living a life without any hope or worth.

What was a life worth if someone lived the entirety of it in fear of death?

Even if he died, he wanted to say he was happy he lived! That his life mattered!

He wasn't suicidal or willing to die, but he wasn't afraid of death either.

With a nudge on the hamster's head, he laid back against the tree and used Dream Input on himself again. But this time, he chose what to dream after deliberate effort.

First, he scanned and studied as much of Yasna's biological, core structure as possible and before he forgot it, used that as the driving force for the Dream Input!

He dreamed this time about being a molecular scientist who was obsessed with women's biology. It was a weird dream—a lot more lively. In fact, he even met Yuri, Reol'ran, and Dona in the dream before it broke and he woke up in reality.

When he woke up, he was sure he would never forget what he had already learned.

Mark awakened the Mask of the Savage and once again studied more of Yasna's molecular structure. She woke up inside his World Space and went about her duties as the chief caretaker of Savage Island, and all the while, he stalked her molecules.

The structure of a Savage World human being at the molecular level became a bit more clear to him.

He made use of the Dream Input to dream about learning the same thing.

The mind has two parts: the conscious and the subconscious. Usually, new information is learned in the conscious mind, where it's harder to remember. However, if the information reaches the subconscious level after long practice and learning, it becomes hard to forget.

When the Ultimate Demonic Art Dream Input is used on himself, Mark's newly learned information in his conscious mind will become a deep dream and he will live in it. Thus, the information in his conscious mind will become well-attuned enough to enter his subconscious mind.

This was a cheat method to quicken learning speed by a hundredfold!

From now on, he could learn anything from the most complex books to tomes in mere minutes or hours with dreams. He just had to read it, remember it for a short while, and use it as Dream Input to gain subconscious access to the information he just learned!

In merely a few more minutes, Mark stopped learning and opened his eyes.

The sun had risen and the morning light washed the lands in its golden brilliance. Birds flew overhead, morning mist flowed around, and in the distance, he could see hazy mountains.

In his mind, he knew almost everything about the savage world human's molecular structure. From their very design principle to their outward beauty. Now, if Yuri's theory was right, he should be able to help her become a Golden Savage.

If he shapeshifted her to be like a native human of this world, she should be able to take in the Heart Blood without issue!

Mark smiled. He had something else to try before that.

Briefly, he discussed the idea with Reol'ran, and she, too, grew a bit interested.

With a deep breath, he touched his own chest and used Alchemic Shapeshifting on himself. From his very molecular structure, he began to transform. He became a human being with the design of a savage world native—from the very molecular structure.

His body's look didn't change much.

He still looked like a youth with slightly pale, purplish skin, sharp masculine features, golden eyes, and a body that would make any bodybuilder go green with envy.

A man of a unique demonic allure.

But inside, at a molecular level, he was a human from the Savage World. Of course—his bloodline alone made him a demon. He was a demon, a human, and a hybrid all at the same time.

And a Maverick.

With a slash, he cut off his own finger and threw it out of the five-meter radius of the Dungeon around the hamster. Since he was a savage native at the molecular level now, would the World Will still burn off his cells when they moved out of the dungeons? Searᴄh the nôvelFire.net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

If it didn't, doesn't that mean he could remove his dungeon weakness forever?

The small finger trailed through the sky and went outside the dungeon zone…

Will it burn?
