Chapter 270 Robot & Kaiju-Second Half
Hearing that, Envy was stunned. Numerous questions arose within her mind. Where did he find such an absurd amount of adamantine to create this golem? How could he utilize that much adamantine to craft armor plates for this colossal machine? Did he have more than one of these gigantic war machines?
These questions swirled within Envy's chaotic thoughts. She believed she knew Daniel well, or at least well enough not to be surprised by anything he presented. Whether it was new magical technology or artifacts that defied modern-day artifice techniques, she thought she had seen it all. However, this revelation hinted that what she had witnessed, such as the base and those marvelous technologies, was just the tip of the iceberg.
Then, a crucial question surfaced in her mind. If this thing were to appear in London, could the Hightower be able to combat it?
It was possible. The strongest attack magic the Hightower HQ had in store was an ancient spell called 'Aetheric Cataclysm.' It was prepared in case of massive mage rebellions or magic wars. The spell's power could disintegrate objects directly, causing the target to vanish.
However, the downside was that it could only be cast twice, as the mana consumption would deplete a mana font in just two releases. In conclusion, the Hightower might win a battle or two, but they would inevitably lose a war if they waged it against Daniel.
However, the Hightower was not currently in a situation where they could use such a spell. Envy considered that she might be able to leverage this and give Daniel the recognition he deserved, which was long overdue – the utmost respect from the Hightower.

With the fight between the Adamantine Colossus and The Leviathan. The colossal clash between the two unfolded with thunderous intensity. Adamantine's towering form faced off against Leviathan's serpentine might, creating a spectacle reminiscent of a giant's battle.
The Adamantine Colossus lunged forward, delivering a powerful punch aimed at Leviathan's massive head. The impact echoed across the sea, sending ripples through the water. However, Leviathan swiftly retaliated, using its sinuous body to entwine around the golem, attempting to restrict its movements.
Undeterred, the Adamantine Colossus, fueled by overwhelming power, exerted tremendous force. The black-armored giant strained against Leviathan's coiling form, muscles rippling beneath the adamantine plates. With a mighty roar of metals and powerful gear fuel by tremendous magical power, it broke free from Leviathan's constricting hold, sending the sea into a frenzy.
Seizing the opportunity, the Adamantine Colossus closed in on Leviathan. Its left arm reached out, locking onto Leviathan's colossal head, while the right arm delivered a series of devastating punches. Each impact reverberated through Leviathan's massive form, creating bursts of water and energy.
The Leviathan, faced with the relentless assault, struggled against the overwhelming force. The sea around them churned, mirroring the intensity of the battle. Despite Leviathan's attempts to resist, the Adamantine Colossus maintained its grip and continued its barrage, each punch echoing the determination to subdue the unruly force of nature.
As the mechanical giant and the monstrous Leviathan engaged in their titanic struggle, the spectacle drew the attention of countless witnesses. Ships in the vicinity, people observing from afar on the shore, those perched in lighthouses, and even news helicopters hovering above all bore witness to the clash of these colossal beings.
Seeing the colossal golem in action, even though the current Leviathan was nothing but pure power without will and intelligence—a far cry from when Envy was in control of this gigantic demonic form—it could be said that it was powerful to the point of being equal to a natural disaster. Witnessing the colossal golem's power easily subdue the raging Leviathan left her in awe of Daniel's technological prowess.
"Daniel... is this colossal war machine the only one you have?" asked Envy, intrigued by the depth of the man beside her.
Looking at Envy, who nervously asked this question, Daniel thought about another card he was reluctant to actualize, as it might cause a large tsunami. That one was even larger than this Adamantine Colossus, with a size of about 1.6 kilometers long, 16 meters wide, and a height of about 200 meters.
"That thing is Oceanos, a colossal submarine in the midst of construction. Its size is about that of a small island, I think," replied Daniel.
Hearing this, Envy shuddered, not wanting to imagine the kind of monstrosity that submarine could be. That submarine alone might be enough to destroy a small island!
"You've prepared all of this. Are you planning to go to war with the Hightower?" Envy asked with a hint of concern. She didn't mind helping Daniel wage war against the Hightower, but then again, she still didn't want this war to affect common people or the innocent.
Daniel smiled as he replied, "As the saying goes, 'Si vis pacem, para bellum'—if you want peace, prepare for war. I prepared all of these in case the Hightower wanted my life or messed with my loved ones."
Envy agreed with what Daniel said, acknowledging that she had also prepared many things in case the Hightower saw her as a nuisance rather than a helping hand. This resulted in a trap that she had prepared, leading to the Hightower's current situation.
Envy decided to stop asking and watch the fight between the two colossi below, waiting for the Leviathan's power to subdue enough for her to seal it.
—
Locked within the unyielding grip of the Adamantine Colossus, the Leviathan, not one to be subdued easily, unleashed its fury. The sea beneath them roared with the tumult of their battle, but Leviathan, in a desperate bid, summoned its chaotic power.
Fierce lightning storms erupted from the Leviathan's serpentine form, bolts of energy lashing out in all directions. The sky crackled with the intensity of the unleashed storm. The searing heat of the ionized air from the lightning was potent enough to vaporize unfortunate ships and helicopters that ventured too close.
Many lightning strikes hit the Adamantine Colossus, but the mechanical giant didn't even budge, as its adamantine steel plate was robust enough to withstand even more powerful punishments.
Daniel then noticed a group of airplanes and military helicopters flying toward the two colossi. However, with the fierce storm raging around them, the military couldn't enter and could only fly around without entering the affected area of the lightning storm.
Seeing that the military was starting to intervene, he asked Envy, "Envy, can you seal it yet? The Sri Lanka military has started to interfere!" Daniel asked with a hint of nervousness, not wanting to complicate things further.
"It's subdued enough! Can you make it stop using the lightning storm?" Envy inquired.
"Let me see what I can do," Daniel replied, extending his senses toward the Adamantine Colossus. Recalling the lore and minor details he had written about the Adamantine Colossus, he remembered one crucial element that could turn the tide.
Daniel delved into the Adamantine Colossus's senses, pinpointing the most powerful weapon in its arsenal—the "God-Slaying Ray," a prototype hidden within its head, concealed behind the eye plate.
The Adamantine Colossus, still entangled with the Leviathan, strategically released its grip, allowing the colossal creature to descend back into the sea. With both hands joined together, resembling a gigantic hammer, it slammed down on the Leviathan's back, momentarily stunning the colossal serpent. Seizing this opportunity, the colossal golem moved its head closer, opening the eye plate to reveal a colossal lens charging with ominous blue energy.
Zaaaaaaaaaaaaapppp!
As the unleashed energy surged, the Adamantine Colossus directed the God-Slaying Ray toward the Leviathan's back. The intense beam cut through scales and muscle with precision. Following the devastating cut, the colossal golem aimed a punch at the exposed, injured area, inflicting additional pain.
Rooooaaarrrr! n(/OvelBIn
The Leviathan roared in painful agony, and the intensity of the lightning storm gradually diminished.
Booooom!! Rooooaaarrrr!
Another punch to the open back of the Leviathan, and the storm completely vanished, as if the chaotic dark sky from moments ago had been an illusion.
Right now, the Leviathan was completely depleted of stamina, all its energy spent as the Adamantine Colossus dragged it into the deeper part of the sea. Daniel aimed to conceal the unscientific aspects of this incident as much as possible, recognizing the impossibility of using science to explain the Leviathan's sudden disappearance when Envy sealed it.
However, the plan faced obstacles as planes and helicopters from the Sri Lanka military continued to follow the two colossal beings to investigate the situation. They hoped to retrieve the corpses of the giant monsters for research or profit, especially since the incident occurred within their territory.
Fortunately, the VTOL that Daniel used was equipped with a stealth module, allowing it to camouflage itself from naked eyes. Without this technology, the situation could have become even more complicated.
"Initiate electronic interference," Daniel commanded one of his officers, and they promptly complied with his directive.
The pulsing electronic interference was released, causing immediate disruptions for the planes and helicopters trailing behind. The Sri Lanka military attempted to persist for a moment, but eventually, they were forced to retreat as their electrical systems malfunctioned more and more severely.
