Chapter 316 Domain Inhabitant Reaction
'The people of the domain are accepting the players much better than I thought, which is a good sign, as introducing the new players wouldn't pose any issue,' Alex thought as he scrolled through the member chat.
Venedikt had introduced the Malefis Domain to all the members, giving them entry tokens, but he did so only after making everyone sign a very resistive contract.
Alex had only visited the member chat a few times in recent days, and he was happy to see all the members busy sharing what little info they were able to find and giving pointers to each other about various things that could help them grow.
The members, which now numbered closer to 500, with all of them having been promoted to first Rank with a hidden class, were having the time of their life, as every one of them was being treated as a noble guest in Vortarum.
The population of the city of Vortarum had also grown by large proportions because various strong individuals were coming from far and wide to meet with the so-called immortal adventurers.
This has caused many incidents, like four players being killed while nine were kidnapped, even with the authorities making sure to issue warning and even taking measures by putting the perpetrator in jail.
Alex had expected such things to happen as the same had happened when the players first came to the human continent, and things went to normal after a few months.
But Alex also knew that in Malefis Domain, things were going to only get a bit messy as more players joined because every other clan except the humans was having issues with manpower, and every one of them would do their best to make the players come to their cities.
Alex knew about such things, so he had discussed it with his guardians and came to the conclusion that he needed to introduce a large number of players but make sure that no one leaked any info regarding how many players were out there, as the real number could cause problems.
Alex understood the situation well, and he was planning to introduce closer to a million players as it was all he could afford for the time being.
He aimed to bring in more as he accrued more Ruler coins through players assisting the domain's inhabitants in resolving their problems.

After exiting the teleportation building in the capital city, Nova, it did not take long for Alex to arrive at the bustling city entrance and locate the cloaked beauty standing beside the bustling city gate, her eyes scanning her surroundings with curiosity.
'I wonder if it was the power that changed her personality or the struggles of spending her life as a slave,' Alex pondered as he looked toward Saahira.
Saahira Ekren later became famous by her legacy title 'The Mistress of White Flame', and like every other individual, she joined the ancient world with hopes of making a career but was quickly sold as a slave to the Ugly Merchant Guild because of her debt.
Saahira was a ruthless individual and one of the strongest members of the Ugly Merchant Guild, yet despite her strength and status, she still remained bound in partial slavery within the guild.
In this life, Alex gave her freedom mere weeks into her lowest point of life and even made her one of the managers to take care of members.
Now, he was going to give her the legacy she acquired in his past life, making her walk on a path that would allow her to surpass her version of his previous life.
Alex couldn't help but take a moment to admire Saahira's world-class beauty as he walked toward her, knowing even with the system's help, she couldn't alter her appearance by more than 5%.
Saahira possessed flawless milky white skin, delicate features, including a petite nose and lips, elegantly arched eyebrows, and light ash-brown eyes that matched the color of her cascading, lustrous hair.
"Hello, Saahira," Alex greeted with a smile as he approached her.
Saahira's ash-brown eyes widened slightly in surprise as she heard her name, and for a moment, she looked Alex Up and down before she quickly lowered her gaze, a faint blush colouring her cheeks.
"Greetings, Sir," Saahira responded with a soft voice, her words barely above a whisper.
"We need to go to a faraway place, so let's get going," Alex said, giving her a nod to follow.
Alex began to walk towards the city, with Saahira silently trailing behind him and navigating through the bustling streets of the city, they quickly arrived at the nearest mount shop.
Alex informed the owner of his mount requirements and the place he wanted to visit, and after a brief exchange and payment, they were instructed by the store owner to wait near the city entrance for the arrival of the beast master.
Once they returned to the city's entrance, it didn't take long for a gilded carriage to arrive before them from which an old man descended.
After the greeting, the old man summoned his companion beast, an Aerindel, a majestic bird with flowing twin tails, one white and one purple, symbolizing his mastery over the elements of wind and lightning.
This particular Aerindel was a female named Ruth, and she radiated a powerful aura and also could converse in the human tongue through the telepathic link, which was a rare ability as most beasts only gained this ability after reaching the Sixth Rank or ascending to the status of a Beast King.
The old man confirmed their destination and then described a few things that his feathered companion liked and disliked before wishing them luck on their adventurer.
Without further ado, Alex and Saahira hopped onto Ruth's back, and in the blink of an eye, they were soaring through the sky, leaving the city behind.
They headed toward the core area of the endless forest, and minutes later, their surroundings were nothing but chains of mountains and endless trees as far as the eye could see.
Saahira sat in silence, her voice quiet since their initial exchange of greetings. Alex, aware of her nervousness, refrained from even telling her the purpose of their outing, allowing her to first grow comfortable in his presence before starting a conversation.
"Saahira, Did you like the Malefis Domain," Alex inquired, facing Saahira as both of them sat a few feet apart.
"There is a voice barrier around, so Ruth can't hear our conversation," Alex said, seeing Saahira pointing down, indicating that their ride could easily hear them.
"The Domain is like utopia if one asks a player to describe one because we are treated as stars by the majority of people,"
"The place is very beautiful, and there are such a wide variety of races, from humans, dwarfs, barbarians, Elves and others, and they all mostly live in harmony,"
"The quests are also amazing, as just gathering herbs or mining for oars in somewhat dangerous areas would reward tens of times better than what one could get on Human continents,"
"But there's also the grim reality that most domain inhabitants are cursed and live in constant fear of losing their sanity. The absence of any available cure only deepens my sympathy for them," Saahira said, her head down, her compassionate nature evident.
'She has a good heart,' Alex thought, recognizing that while most players might be focused on profiting from the given opportunity, only a handful cared about the curse, and even among them, most did because they saw it as a potential route to a life-changing quest.nOVe-lb/1n
