Chapter 385 Andrei Awakens

Alex watched calmly as Boras placed his hand on the sphere, and the cold crystal that had stayed inactive for hours finally came to life, shining with pure light, its intensity increasing with the passing moment.

The numerous individuals standing in lines for their turn and those surrounding them fell silent as the crystal began to glow.

Moments later, the silence transformed into a cascade of cheers, with some praising the fortunate individual and others vehemently cursing him for his luck.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, thanks for participating in my little game," Alex said, as he sprung to feet and used darkness to pick all the ten orbs in an instant, putting them back into his inventory.

"Let's find someplace private," Alex said as he appeared next to Boras with a teleportation scroll in his hand and, with his left hand, grasped his by the back of his rob and moved toward the sky as he didn't want anyone else coming with him.

Alex vanished with Boras, among the questions roars of hundreds, and appeared in a big hotel room just a few hundred meters away from his previous location. This material is derived from n0v£lbin•

Boras observed his new surroundings, still clearly shaken by the whole experience of whining the game of fortune but now also having doubts if he would get paid or if, as his friends said, it was just a sham to get views.

"The ring contains the one million gold coins I promised to give to the winner," Alex said, tossing the ring in the direction of Boras, who observed him in silence.

Boras looked surprised as he checked the contents of the rin and found the money, but his surprise only grew when he saw Alex's face changing to the man who had shaken the internet just a few months ago.

"Do you possess the courage to defy the giants of our world, become a ghost, and embody unwavering loyalty? If so, I invite you to join the ranks of the Shadow Oblivion organization." Alex said as he observed Boras's reaction to his statement.

Boras looked surprised, clearly shaken by the whole situation, but instead of his eyes shining with excitement at the opportunity, he appeared worried as he silently stared at the ring in his hand.

"I come from a fairly wealthy household and have lived a privileged life, so I am not very fond of violence, nor am I good in battle, which is why I took the class of a paladin so while I overcame my weakness, I could also be some use to teammates,"

"I can live a simple, I can be loyal, and I can stand against the figures in power for the right cause, but only for the right cause," Boras said after moments of silence, making it clear that he would not be a part of anything that he deemed was not right.

"How old are you?" Alex questioned, knowing Boras's mindset was of someone who had little life experience and knew nothing of the horrors of the world.

"Eighte--- Seventeen," Boras said, changing his answer midsentance.

'I had a feeling,' Alex thought, not surprised by the age.

Alex sent the joining contract to Boras and then told him how the world's big powers did not like the organization and wanted its destruction or control over it.

It was the ninth day, and he was leaving the training ground and making his way toward his home when he received a notification from Zoe informing him that Andrei had awakened.

Alex was informed that Andrei would wake up in just a few hours as his body was already very much adapted to mana, so without delay, he rushed home and logged out, happy beyond words, as he wanted to be beside his brother when he woke up from his slumber.

"He has always been gifted with physical attainments," Venedikt stated as he stared at his unconscious brother.

"You will get awakened in a month or two, so don't push yourself too hard," Alex stated as he tapped his brother on the back, who was happy for his brother's success but also determined to achieve the same result.

"Alex, did you see the recent SSS Rank legacy holder who joined the organization?" Venedikt stated after a moment of silence.

"Is he something special?" Alex asked back, not astonished that my new SSS Rank legacy holder that he was unaware of as in just two months, the organization had grown vastly stronger.

The number of members had exploded, and with them came many legacy holders, all aspiring to take the influential positions of a behemoth in the making that had uncountable resources at their disposal and the most lucrative place exclusive to them.

The number of SSS Rak legacy holders had surpassed six, with SS going past twenty the last time Alex verified two days ago, and two of those high-profile figures were members of the top three guilds in his previous life.

Alex knew that he could prove them traitors and ruin their lives, but that would be stupid because he knew if he controlled the head of the snake, he could manipulate his body.

"He had the legacy of someone named The Hollow King, and I say he is special because he won against the first-ranked individual in his group through a match of skills, with their target being an early Sixth Rank criminal,"

"He completed it in two hours, and he was just at the early stage of Fourth Rank when he did it, and following that, he was confronted three times, twice in a skill battle and once in a duel, and he won by a landslide," Venedikt said, obviously impressed by the skill of the new member.

'Is this individual, The Ghost, The King Killer?' Alex thought as he remembered the best assassin from his previous life, a man even the top guilds feared.

Alex knew little of the assassins as no one even knew his name, how he looked, or any of his skills, with the only thing known about him being he was an assassin but rarely took a job.

The job was never easy, but his track record spoke volumes of his talent as it was 100%, never failing a job and always doing clean work.

"If he can gain your trust, then make him into a chapter master candidate," Alex said, dropping his chain of thought, knowing it would be extremely rare and lucky to gain that man, knowing his elusive nature.

"This headache is killing me," Andrei said, his words came out as a low growl, a grumble tinged with pain, with his eyes, barely open, squinted against the discomfort as he attempted to rise.
