While Lei Zhen was being transported to the Lux Forest, back in the real world, there was a power outage going on in his apartment.
"How unlucky, the electricity wire suddenly went out and caused the apartment to lose power." A construction worker sighed softly as he finished fixing the wires.
"Anyway, Bao Shui, the power should be booting back up in about 3 minutes."
Bao Shui is the owner of the apartment that Lei Zhen resides in. He was an elderly kind man that cared about his tenant.
In addition to that, due to the poor district in this area, it was common for the apartment to sometimes lose electricity and connection to the internet.
Thus, there were construction workers around every few weeks or so to fix the old wiring and reconnect them.
"Haha, as always, thanks to your quick help. Otherwise, these tenants are probably going to complain about the renting price again." Bao Shui jokingly said.
He then proceeded to hand over some cash to the construction worker for his work.
"Aiyah, hopefully, those tenants of mine didn't encounter any troubles with the lost connection." Bao Shui calmly said as he returned to his gardening.

Back in Magnolia, Lei Zhen finally arrived at Lux Forest, surrounded by numerous greenery scenes.
"..."
Lei Zhen was extremely downcast when he glanced at his character status.
[ Name: Lei Zhen
Class: Crowd Controller
Level: 1
(Health Point) HP: 355/355
(Mana Point) MP: 130/130
(Attack) Atk: 8 (+5)
(Defense) Def: 7 (+5)
(Intelligence) Int: 14
(Wisdom) Wis: 12
(Dexterity) Dex:8
(Speed) Spd: 9 ]
Of all the classes he could have gotten, he was stuck with the Crowd Controller class that he found suspicious in the beginning.
"Why did an error suddenly occur at the most important process? Wasn't Magnolia a game created 4 years ago? Why is there still a bug in a fully developed game?" Lei Zhen began to ask himself numerous questions as to why he was struck by this misfortune.
Alas, there was nothing else he could do besides accepting his unlucky fate.
Unlike any game where you could always click on the reset or restart button, Magnolia is directly linked to a person and cannot be changed.
Therefore, even if he were to try to recreate a new character or enter into a new MagnoPod, Lei Zhen would be automatically linked to his current gaming character.
Lei Zhen spent another few more minutes in confusion before calming down.
What's done is done, and lingering over it would be futile anyway.
"Let me check my current equipment instead." Lei Zhen said.
[Novice Staff: An ordinary staff that any beginner could obtain and help them step foot in the Magnolia World.]
[Novice Robe: A robe that is suitable for all Mages and Enchanters to wear.]
The Novice Staff gives an extra attack stat of 5 whereas the Novice Robe gives an extra defense stat of 5.
Seeing the items he was wearing, Lei Zhen could finally understand the meaning of the parenthesis +5 next to his stats.
'I see… so wearing different kinds of equipment gives different kinds of bonus stats.' Lei Zhen thought.
As someone who had never played any video games before, everything was like a new world for him.
It may sound dumb, but people like him do exist and they are an extreme rarity.
Lei Zhen glanced around his surroundings for a few more seconds before deciding to do the smartest thing an amateur can do.
"Logout!"
ραпdα nᴏνa| сom Lei Zhen successfully opened the system interface and clicked on the "logout" button.
Soon his game character disappeared from the world of Magnolia, and his vision soon returned to the dark MagnoPod.
Without wasting any time, Lei Zhen got off the MagnoPod and began dialing Shan Lin about his incident.
Du Du Du
"What's up, Lei Zhen? Are you in the starting village already?" Shan Lin asked as soon as the phone connected.
He was extremely excited that he didn't even allow Lei Zhen to speak.
"Remember, player-killing known as PK is really common in Magnolia. They would especially target new players like you for fun, so make sure to stay inside the starting village. Players are prohibited to fight in any villages or city."
After spending another 10 minutes explaining, Shan Lin needed to drink some water to catch his breath.
And Lei Zhen was smart to quickly use this chance to tell him something.
"Shan Lin, can you just listen to me for a bit." Lei Zhen said in a serious tone.
"Alright then, I'll listen to you."
Lei Zhen then proceeded to explain his character creation process and what kind of class he obtained.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY??!"
Shan Lin's voice was so loud that Lei Zhen had to move his phone away from his ear.
His ear was still ringing from the sudden outburst of Shan Lin.
After a few seconds, Lei Zhen decided to turn on the speaker mode and asked, "Why are you screaming? My ears almost got killed by your outburst."
"S-Sorry, but I was just shocked at what you just said."
"I know it's pretty shocking, but you didn't have to overreact like that. It's just that I got a class automatically by the Magnolia system."
"You are really a complete newbie, Lei Zhen." Shan Lin said in distress. "If you were a Magnolia veteran, then you would have screamed at the top of the lungs like me."
Lei Zhen raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Can you explain what is so shocking in normal human language?" Lei Zhen kindly asked.
"Sigh, I'll explain it in simple sentences then. What you just got is something that nobody and I mean absolutely nobody in Magnolia has."
"You can stop teasing me about the Error prompt, Shan Lin."
Thinking that Shan Lin was simply trying to tease him, Lei Zhen disconnected the phone and decided to do his own research.
However, not even a few seconds passed before Shan Lin called his phone again.
"If you're going to tease me, then I'm just going to ignore you." Lei Zhen picked up the phone and warned him.
"Just shut up and listen to me, Lei Zhen. In Magnolia, there is no such class as a Crowd Controller."
