Chapter 111 Lizardark

Name:MMORPG: Crowd Control Author:
Lei Zhen was in disbelief by the number of Lizardark that had appeared to attack them in the swamp.

Lizardark was the name of a monster they had encountered, and as the name suggested, they had the appearance of a lizard but the height of a normal human.

They had armor and used spear-like weapons. In addition, their clawed feet, which were made for this environment, allowed their speed to be fast.

And the main point was that they are rarely aggressive enough to initiate a fight or ambush themselves.

Hence, their current behavior contradicts the data Lei Zhen had read.

Of course, the data could have been wrong, but it was gathered by the experienced Griselda.

While Tie Longkun busied himself with fighting the numerous Lizardark, Lei Zhen turned toward Griselda.

"Griselda, do you feel like something is amiss as well?"

"Mhmm, I doubt the brainless fighting maniac realized it, but there are simply too many Lizardark appearing here."

"Indeed, and I suspect it must be due to the black mage."

With so many Lizardark coming out of their habitat, the most logical explanation that Lei Zhen could think of was that their habitat had been stolen or invaded.

"This black mage really doesn't give a damn about us." Griselda clicked her tongue in annoyance. As a tier 2 player, being looked down on by this much from an NPC was unacceptable.

Lei Zhen shrugged his shoulders.

"Sorry, I don't share the same sentiment as you so can't relate." He said, reminding her that he was just a low-level player.

Hence, it was a given that the black mage does not perceive him as a threat from the start.

As the two were discussing, Tie Longkun happily came back, his sword stained in blood.

When Lei Zhen saw the blood stain on his sword, a sudden thought popped up in his mind.

His signature smirk soon appeared as he got a very nice plot, but one that is devious. He quickly sent a text message to Griselda, asking if she was willing to throw someone under the bus.

Griselda raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Seeing his text message, it was clear that Lei Zhen was mentioning Tie Longkun since he was here now.

Meanwhile, Tie Longkun laughed heartily as he sheathed his sword and said, "Guys, I just killed all those Lizardark surrounding us. We can proceed ahead now."

"Nice, please scout ahead of us. I have something else to discuss with the chancellor." Griselda clasped her hand and tried to get him to leave.

Not suspecting anything, Tie Longkun nodded his head and smiled cheerfully.

"No problem, let this sword master clear the obstacles ahead for my fellow comrades." He patted his chest with his left hand and had his other hand holding the sword, laying it on his shoulder.

As his impulsive behavior kicked in, Tie Longkun ran straight ahead, leaving Lei Zhen and Griselda behind.

And seeing that, Lei Zhen nodded his head.

"Yup, him being a scapegoat suits his personality. We shall proceed with the plan I got." Lei Zhen said, explaining his devious scheme.

First, they would depict Tie Longkun as a devious swordsman to the Lizardark given he had slain a lot of them already.

Afterward, they would pretend to capture him to gain the favor of the fellows of Lizardark, allowing them to infiltrate and gather information.

Of course, it was inhumane of them to drop Tie Longkun like that after his hard work, but to do big things, sacrifice was a must.

Lei Zhen was sure he would understand their difficulty and oblige to the plan.

And even if he doesn't, Tie Longkun has no choice but to still comply with his plan.

"You are really wicked, Lei Zhen," Griselda said. Without Tie Longkun's presence, she directly called out his name and looked at him in disgust.

"Don't give me that look. You agreed to this indirectly anyway since you told him to clear the obstacle ahead." Lei Zhen snickered.

pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ "Well, who else but he could be the perfect candidate. We didn't make a move against the Lizardark folks at all and only he did."

"Exactly, besides, we are saving the Lizardark by infiltrating them and getting an understanding of what happened here."

"Mhmm, I'll compensate Tie Longkun with an extra silver coin for his grand sacrifice."

With that said, the two of them held a devious smirk as they were ready to throw Tie Longkun under the bus at any moment.

And poor little Tie Longkun remained ignorant of this plan of theirs as he was still giving his all to kill the Lizardark.

Sometime later, Tie Longkun finally encountered an Elite Monster from the Lizardark clan. It was a fully armored Lizardark and leveled at 95, with its expression filled with rage.

"Haha, finally a decent monster has appeared." Tie Longkun smiled joyfully as he raised his battered old sword and pointed at the Elite Monster.

"Hmph, you vile swordsman. How dare you slay so many of my clans folk!" The Elite Monster of the Lizardark shouted.

In Magnolia, those who had reached a certain level and evolution, are able to communicate well.

Thus, Tie Longkun was not surprised by the monster being eligible to communicate with him.

"Enough nonsense, who told you mere lizards have the nerve to ambush us. You really don't know how to spell the word death." Tie Longkun sneered coldly.

"Hmph, says the one invading our habitat again and again."

After saying that, the Elite Lizardark held his spear tightly and leaped toward Tie Longkun.

A fierce glint appeared in Tie Longkun's eyes as he prepared to swing his sword to meet the spear head-on.

As a swordsman, backing off was one thing they will never do in a fight.

However, just when Tie Longkun was ready to swing his arm, he found himself immobilized for some reason.

"What the hell?" Tie Longkun was astonished, struggling to move even an inch of his body.

To the surprise of Tie Longkun, Lei Zhen and Griselda walked out naturally from behind.

At first, he thought they were here to assist him, but Griselda's next move shocked him deeply.

With a single spell, she sent him to death, and small particles soon appeared from his body.

"Thank you for your sacrifice, comrade." Griselda sent him a voice message, smiling menacingly.
