Chapter 126 A Beginning

As Lei Zhen suggested the guild name, Zero Fear, a look of astonishment was seen on Griselda's face.

"Zero Fear…" She mumbled softly, seemingly trying to figure out the meaning of the guild name.

"Zero Fear is defined by its literal term. Having zero fear in accomplishing what we want and would always push through any obstacles."

Lei Zhen calmly explained the literal meaning while hiding a subtle hidden meaning to the name as well.

Since he was going to create a guild to ruin one of the 12 Zodiac Guilds, one must have zero fear to accomplish such a feat.

After all, it was akin to a human trying to fight a tiger barehanded with no equipment.

It might sound unrealistic, but as long as one has the determination and courage to follow through, then the situation could become a possibility.

There was a popular novel in the past that said a man was able to punch a tiger to death, shattering its intestine.

"So, what do you think about this guild name?" Lei Zhen asked.

"I like it." Griselda smiled briefly. "I never fear anything in my life, so the guild name matches me perfectly."

"It's settled then," Lei Zhen clasped his hands, ready to hop onto his MagnoPod.

However, he suddenly realized one thing and paused his movement.

"How to create a guild?" He asked her awkwardly.

As a low level, there are many functions and features of Magnolia that he had not unlocked nor had the opportunity to encounter.

Griselda twitched her mouth in disbelief. "Why do I feel like I trusted a pirate and want to jump off the ship now?"

"Have you seen a pirate as handsome as me?"

"You're still drunk I guessed."

"Drunk or not, you can't deny I'm good-looking," Lei Zhen winked one of his eyes, prompting Griselda to roll her eyes.

"Whatever, to create a guild, you just need to open the system prompt in-game. Afterward, you will go to the guild tab section and under the button that says "create guild", you will type in the guild name you want." Griselda calmly explained the procedure for creating one explicitly.

"Is there any requirement to create a guild?"

"Yes, one gold coin."

A look of disgust appeared on Lei Zhen's face as he finally realized why not many people have created a guild despite the game being out in 4 years.

The cost of creating one was way too damn high for any common player to afford it.

"No matter the scenario, a company always cares about profits in the end." Lei Zhen sneered coldly.

"Don't act like you wouldn't do the same either. Besides, to this day, we still don't know who owns or where Tundra operates. They are so mysterious and cool." Griselda seemed to have her eyes sparkling as she praised Tundra's company.

Lei Zhen shrugged his shoulders.

"Anyway, aren't you going to leave my house now? I don't have another MagnoPod for you and I doubt you would want to stay here any longer." He said, clearly saying that a wealthy miss like her would not be able to stand his poor house.

"Yeah, I'll be heading back since you seem to be fine now."

"I'll see you in-game then."

"How is Sir Lei Zhen, Miss?" Samuel asked politely.

"He's fine for now after I gave him a prep talk. We're going to head back home now, but remember the deadline I set." Griselda calmly said.

"Of course, the men are already working on it," Samuel replied, opening the door for Griselda.

"Good, I don't want to miss any information. I kind of wish to find out what kind of people manage to make him lose his cool that badly."

"O-Of course, Miss."

As Griselda and Samuel promptly left the area of Lei Zhen, he had already hopped on Magnolia and began creating the guild.

'Hmm, just like Griselda said, that cost of 1 gold coin is really blackhearted.' Lei Zhen thought to himself.

Although he got 101 gold coins currently, it still pained him deeply to cough up 1 gold coin just for the sake of creating a guild.

And to be honest, he had thought of joining Tang Qiaolian's guild but decided against it.

He wanted to create a guild to become enemies with one of the 12 Zodiac Guilds which would offend a lot of people. As a friend, he does not want to drag Tang Qiaolian into the muddy water with him.

Sometime later, Lei Zhen paid one gold coin for the creation of the Zero Fear guild and got to the part to include a Vice Leader position.

Thus, Lei Zhen invited Griselda as the Vice Leader and Tie Longkun, who remained guildless as a regular member.

Once the invitation was sent, Lei Zhen could see his character status now had a guild under his level and was labeled Guild Leader.

However, when he was asked if he wanted to publicize his name to the world, he rejected it and chose to remain anonymous.

Why should he go public when the Cancer Guild had their guild leader anonymous as well?

"Phew, this could be a new beginning." Lei Zhen muttered, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the addition of two soon-to-be members.

While Lei Zhen finished creating a guild and all that, he soon received a video call from Tang Qiaolian.

"What is it, Qioalian?" Lei Zhen accepted her video call and asked.

"When did you have the money to create a guild?" Tang Qiaolian went straight to the point, clearly realizing there was a status change on him.

"Um, I earned it?"

"You managed to earn 1 gold coin at level 17? How did you manage that? Did you rob a merchant?" Panicked soon filled her face as she thought Lei Zhen might have committed a crime.

"Haha, I got lucky and earned a gold coin." Lei Zhen casually laughed, not disclosing he actually had 100 gold coins in his pocket.
