Chapter 261 Same Fate

Name:MMORPG: Crowd Control Author:
After logging out of the Magnolia World, Samantha angrily got off the MagnoPod, making her way toward the guest room.

And coincidentally, Lei Zhen was just about to jump into the new MagnoPod in the guest room before Samantha barged in unannounced.

Her actions thoroughly shocked him since he knew she was never the impulsive and impolite type. Action such as barging through someone's room was something that Samantha would have never done.

Yet her current eyes that are filled with anger horrified Lei Zhen.

'Just who is this ballsy person?' Lei Zhen wondered silently. For a person to tilt her to this point, Lei Zhen could not fathom how they could still remain alive in this world.

"What happened, Samantha?" Lei Zhen asked, keeping a cool and calm composure despite her sudden entry.

"I just experienced the bug you told me about," Samantha grumbled slightly, explaining how the woman in green robes practically forced a class upon her and kicked her out.

By the time she finished explaining, Lei Zhen could feel tears being produced in his eyes.

How could he not?

That was legit the same fate that he had experienced, except he had it even worse because he was transported to a high-level dangerous area compared to Samantha.

"Take a seat first, Samantha. How could you lose your cool from an NPC?" Lei Zhen instructed and went to the kitchen area to get some oolong tea for her to drink.

Sometime later, Samantha's expression finally relaxed a bit once she drank some oolong tea.

However, there was still a notable frustration in her eyes, mainly because she had never been disrespected in such a manner before.

"What is wrong with that NPC?" Samantha asked in disbelief.

"I asked her about your situation of the 7 game classes, and that woman didn't even bother answering it. Instead, she just smacked a game class on me and kicked me out. Is that supposed to be how the starting phase performs?" She added, feeling irritated and annoyed.

Meanwhile, Lei Zhen calmly shook his head. "Nope, I have researched a bit and no one else has experienced such a bug in the past. And so far, only you and I happen to receive a class that isn't the basics from the get-go."

He then asked, "Anyway what kind of game class did that woman give you?"

Samantha rubbed her chin, seemingly trying to remember the game class before she logged out in frustration.

"It has an N letter something…" She muttered softly, trying to recall the actual word. A few seconds later, she finally recalled and clasped her hands.

"Ah, it's a necromancer class. But what is it? There isn't any information regarding it." She said confusingly, clearly clueless as to what the game class does since she didn't read about it.

Meanwhile, Lei Zhen made an excuse to leave the room slowly. The excuse to leave was obviously to search up the class Necromancer because he was clueless as well.

He knew what the word itself meant, but was not sure if that truly correlated with the actual game mechanic. After some research, Lei Zhen was confident to answer Samantha's question.

And just when he entered back to the guest room, Samantha was staring at him with a deadpan expression.

"Is there something weird on my face?" Lei Zhen touched his face and asked.

"No, but trying to act like a pro when you're not is kind of disappointing."

"W-What do you mean by that?"

Samantha didn't bother explaining and merely took out her phone, showing a surveillance camera replay of Lei Zhen searching for Necromancer on his phone.

Lei Zhen's mouth was wide open as he held a gawking look at her.

"You have surveillance cameras in your own condo? What kind of sick person does that?" He exclaimed in an exaggerated tone.

Though such things were quite common in this era, Lei Zhen was merely trying to defend any bit of dignity he had left.

Samantha twitched her brows slightly and ignored his exaggeration.

"Anyway, what am I supposed to do now? There are no instructions as to what I should do." She asked, allowing him to keep his fictional dignity.

"There should be some beginner quests available for you and make sure to check up on your character status. Also, equip your skills in a quick slot so that the activation of the skill won't be delayed." Lei Zhen instructed, telling her the things to avoid and how to increase her prowess to the maximum.

These were all the details that he had obtained after troubleshooting a lot.

"Hmm, I see." Samantha nodded her head, remembering all the details.

"My in-game name is Sam, a shortcut for my real name. And I made my tag doctor, so that should make it easy to find me from the many Sam." She then said, clearly telling him to send the friend request.

"Understood, I'll add you the moment I enter Magnolia." Lei Zhen smiled, opening the door for her to leave.

And once she left the room, Lei Zhen wasted no time hopping into his MagnoPod and sent her a friend request.

"Master, when are we departing Cinderton?"

While Lei Zhen was busy hovering in the friend request tab, he heard a familiar voice from behind. It was his supposed slave, Candice, who was standing by the wall.

"Hmm, we're going to depart soon. There's not much to do in Cinderton since we have made quite the scene previously. I'm sure they wish for us to be gone as well." Lei Zhen replied.

Despite the authorities of NPC being amicable toward their group, Lei Zhen knew they wanted them gone. After all, their appearance would always remind them of their commander being detained by Jack Scarecrow.

"Understood, I'll let the other crewmates know about this and have them get ready for departure soon." Candice bowed her head and left the scene.

Right as she left, Lei Zhen saw Samantha had accepted his friend request.

And to his surprise, the beginner town that Samantha somehow transported to was the Town of Wales.
