Chapter 912 A Few Days
After Valyr had implemented the full capabilities of [Ephemeral Limbs of the First Blacksmith] into his forging process, a few days unknowingly passed.
Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!
With his eyes focused intently on the item on his anvil, Valyr deftly maneuvered the Hammer of Beginnings, working alongside two of the pairs to remove the surface imperfections on the saber he was forging.
Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!
Feeling as if he'd removed all of the imperfections, he then moved to making sure all of the materials making up the item was unified under his vision.
With that, he elected the help of the other pairs of arms, placing the item into the furnace a few times as he and the five pairs slowly but surely worked out the remaining problems the saber had.
By the time he was finally done, Valyr let out a faint sigh of relief as he waved the saber around, immediately getting the feeling that it was now similar in quality to the swords he'd forged before with his own hands.
Activating [Superior Analysis] on it, his feeling was then proved to be correct.
"Level 55. Rare." The young man faintly smiled, tossing the saber into the growing pile of finished weapons he'd forged.
Ever since Valyr made the decision to make use of all five pairs given to him by the skill, the young man forged all of the spears he needed to fulfill the quota given to him.
By the time he was done with all the spears, he had reduced the time to forge each weapon to two hours, half of how long it took him to forge the sword originally.
After that, he moved onto the next weapon type on the list, which was the staff.
While forging the staffs for the quota, he was able to reduce the forging time even further, bringing it down to an hour and 50 minutes.
And just now, he had finished forging the final saber needed to fulfill the quota given to him, prompting the young man to think that he should take a break once more.
"Though I know you're eager to help out now that you're out of the inheritance, don't push yourself too hard."
Reading through the man's messages, an awkward smile gradually crept up onto Valyr's lips, thinking about how he hadn't slept for the past couple of days yet.
'But then again, I'm not feeling even the least bit sleepy,' thought the young man to himself, recalling that the same thing happened back when he was participating in the trial against Arcaelus.
Though, as he thought about it a bit more, he realized that he also didn't sleep as often after that, whether it was the two years he spent with Sellifer, or the overview Vaughn gave him on Veldanyr's history and his true identity.
"If it were due to my class rank, then I should've been sleeping less a long time ago," muttered the young man to himself. "It's only while I was in the inheritance did I begin to sleep less."
"But it's also while I was in the inheritance did I ascend to Rank 3..." Rubbing his chin over the matter, Valyr began to feel a bit curious. "I wonder what caused it?"
Before the young man could delve any deeper into the matter, his large meal was eventually delivered to him.
Beginning to go through his meal with gusto, Valyr decided to send a message to Julian while eating, informing the man that he was taking care of his body.
After that, he informed the man of his progress, talking about how he was already halfway through the quota and that it wouldn't take too long to finish the remaining half.
Continuing to go through his meal after that, the young man got another message from Julian by the time he was a few bites away from finishing his meal.
Slightly frowning, the young man opened it, only to raise his eyebrow at the message.
"You're outside at the moment, right? Could you come back to the guild right now?" "Let me know if you're on your way back."
Scratching the back of his head in confusion as he read these messages, the young man eventually closed the screen and shrugged his shoulders. Finishing his meal after that, he then paid for it before deciding to take a more leisurely route back to the guild to let the food digest.
Of course, with Julian's last couple of messages still in his mind, he let the man know that he was on his way back, taking around 20 minutes or so to arrive at its entrance.
Though, before he could even enter, Julian was already at the front waiting for him, immediately coming up to him with a slightly disbelieving look on his face.
"Could you show me your workshop for a bit?"
