Chapter 1065: A Perfect Fit

Of course, shock was what Valyr thought they were feeling when he looked at them. After all, both of their eyes and mouths were as open as they could be, staring at the thing that he'd just done.

However, as he listened to the words that eventually came out of Mystia's mouth, his thoughts immediately changed.

It was through her words that he realized that the two weren't feeling shock or surprise whatsoever.

It was astonishment.

And from what Valyr could perceive from Mystia's tone, a hint of excitement as well. "You're... you're already finished?" Mystia asked him, her lips subconsciously curling up into a smile. "Are you sure you haven't done any of this in the past? Like tried it a couple of times and ended up forgetting it?"

"Not that I know of." Tilting his head in slight confusion, Valyr shook his head in response. "After all, I only had a point of Mystic Energy to my name until recently."

"Anyways, why are you asking me that?" Focusing his thoughts on his recent attempt at using Mystic Rune Alchemy, the young man began to look at it from a couple different perspectives. "Did I do something wrong? Did I do anything different?"

"If you did do anything wrong during the process, then I would've said something about it." Surprisingly, Marcus was the one to respond to Valyr's question, his expression a mix between serious and excited. "But different..."Finnd new chapters at novelhall.com

"Yeah. You've definitely done something different, alright."

At those words, it was Valyr's turn to react, his eyebrow raised as he continued to look at the two in slight confusion.

Thinking about whether or not he'd done anything different while going through the concoction process in his mind, Marcus eventually told Valyr what he wanted to know.

"You've actually found a way to make the concoction process go even faster," said Marcus, giving Valyr even greater confusion than before.

"But I followed everything Mystia told me, though?"

"That's the thing." Marcus nodded in agreement. "I could tell that you did follow Mystia's instructions to the letter. However, at some point, your process gradually began to deviate from hers."

"Is it the difference in the intent you put into the Mystic Energy? The level of detail of the intent? Perhaps it's the difference in the quality of the Mystic Energy itself?" The man slightly shrugged. "Frankly, I can only find out so much through my connection with the Mystic Plane."

"Should Valyr and I concoct a batch of potions at the same time, then?" suggested Mystia after hearing Marcus' words, prompting the latter to ponder over it for a bit before eventually nodding.

"That'll definitely help out," said the man, only to look at Valyr soon after. "Though, it'd be better if Valyr himself were to help out in identifying the difference as well. After all, he's the one controlling the process."

the ingredients.

Noticing that the amount of dregs that were left over from the process were around half of what it was before, Valyr took in a deep breath to compose himself before proceeding with the

final step.

Going over the exact ratio of essence necessary to create the potion in his mind, the young man soon infused those thoughts into the Mystic Energy, swiftly transforming the mishmash of essences into a homogenous cloud of dark blue.

Whoosh!

With the bottling process being the only step left for the young man, Valyr went ahead and dispelled his Mystic Energy, expecting that Mystia would have dispelled her own Mystic

Energy at around the same time.

Yet, what happened instead was that most of Mystia's attention was still focused on concocting her own batch of Lesser Mana Rejuvenation Potions, though she still had enough leeway to keep an eye on what Valyr was doing.

Pouring the essence into the vials with the help of his energy, it did not take long for the cloud of dark blue to disappear from the trio's vision, leaving only a single cocoon of Mystic Energy still levitating in the air.

"I still haven't figured out what you're doing different." Activating his identification skill to see how his new batch of mana potions looked, Marcus spoke to the young man with a wry

smile.

"However, seeing you two concoct the same thing at the same time has made me realizing something else."

"And that would be?" As these words left Valyr's mouth, Mystia finally dispelled the cocoon she'd created before bottling up the essence she made into a number of vials.

Listening in to the conversation happening between the two, it did not take long for Mystia to understand what Marcus was talking about, only to become more sure of it the moment she identified the batch Valyr had just created.

"Your compatibility with Mystic Rune Alchemy. You're a perfect fit, Valyr. It's as if the style of

alchemy was made for you," said Mystia as she continued where the man left off, with the latter nodding in agreement.

"It's as if... you were born to learn... to push Mystic Rune Alchemy to greater heights."

" ???"
