Chapter 1204 Keeping Up to Date

"...Haah."

"Where is he right now?"

As these words left his mouth, Juno could not stop himself from letting out a low sigh, feeling a hint of regret over a decision he made while he continued to watch over Valyr's shop.

When Valyr first proposed to him that he'd be able to reach a higher level of blacksmithing as long as he did a couple of things for the young man in exchange, the excitement of having his wishes fulfilled made him accept the deal in a heartbeat.

In fact, Juno thought of it as a dream come true, considering that Valyr immediately taught him all he wanted to know in order to improve his blacksmithing skills.

Though it did come as a bit of surprise for him that he would be managing the shop alongside the young man after their learning session, the experience of learning from a master was more than enough for make up for it.

Of course, the large sum of money he got for working by the end of the day also made for it, especially after he was made to interact with a lot more people than he usually did back in his smithy.

With that positive experience in mind, Juno returned to Valyr's shop the following day after the latter told him that he'd be teaching him how to improve his blacksmithing once more.

Ecstatic and eager to learn, the man came into the shop not long after that, only for the young man to ask for a favor from him to watch over the shop while he was gone.

Seeing that Valyr's shop would only be open for a similar amount of time to what he went through the previous day, Juno eventually agreed to the request, thinking that his experience would be more or less the same. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

After all, how bad would it be to manage Valyr's shop while he was alone?

"..." Though Juno still had a couple more things to say to Valyr about what he went through in the past couple of days the latter was gone, the man decided to keep those thoughts to himself, nodding at the young man's words in response.

Aside from the fact that things would only get worse if he were to antagonize Valyr for something like this, Juno was also made aware thanks to the current situation that there were still a couple of areas he could improve on.

With that, the two worked together to manage the shop for the remaining time it was open, allowing the stress Juno had accumulated over the past day and half to gradually disappear the moment the shop closed.

...

"...Haah." Watching Juno wave farewell at him as the man slowly disappeared from his field of vision, Valyr eventually let out a low sigh after making sure he was gone, feeling a bit of guilt at the thought of what he made the man go through.

Of course, to lessen the guilt he felt, the young man did not hesitate to give him a greater share of the profits made while he was gone, as well as make an agreement to teach the man blacksmithing for an entire day.

"Then again, I should've stuck to the words I told him before I was gone," muttered Valyr to himself after some time, briefly admonishing himself to do better from now on.

Closing his eyes for a while to briefly reflect on his actions, Valyr soon let out a long exhale the moment he opened his eyes.

After that, he brought up a screen in front of him, wanting to see what the players had been doing while he was away from the village to obtain [Warrior's Eyes of Slaughter] from Jekyll.

"Huh." Scrolling through the various posts made by the players on the forum, Valyr raised his eyebrows in interest after seeing that a post containing an unofficial ranking of sorts had been made on the dungeons that were near the various starter villages.

However, as he went through the post to see how well the players in the other villages were doing in comparison to the dungeons, the young man soon began to frown once his eyes landed on the list for Daffors Village.

"Well then."

"That's not good."
