"I'm going to buy the sword," the boy said.
"What are you going to use it for, how much is the sword?" Alex asked again.
"It's 10,000 coins Sir" the seller spoke.
"Who are you, take your mask off or we'll take it off for you," the guards said fearlessly.
"Do you have a death wish, touch any part of my body and you won't live to tell the tale" Alex also spoke fearlessly.
'Oh no, this has gone too far, I've made a mistake, I need to talk my way out of this'
The guards stare at Alex, they were obviously bigger and taller than him, then how could he speak to them in that manner, that means he's a well-known figure.
"Who are you?" the boy asked.
"Haven't you heard of me?" Alex said.
The players in the shop were all watching the scene in front of them, most of them couldn't hold back their laughter and let out chuckles, they knew Alex couldn't defeat the guard so they wanted to see how it would end for him.
"Are you the hunter?" the seller asked with a surprised expression, Alex saw the seller's face and figured the hunter might be an important figure here in melmond.
"Yes...and I don't think I need further introduction," Alex said.
"He's the hunter... I'm very sorry Sir, I didn't know it was you, my father has been waiting for days now" the boy said.
"We sincerely apologize, we'll lead you to the mansion, please follow us" the guards spoke.
'What!! father!!! mansion!! waiting for me, shit...what did I get myself into, I need to get out of here'
"I know my way around, and I still have some stops on the way, I would go to the mansion after I'm done," Alex said.
"You can't, my father has been waiting for you, you were supposed to be here, yesterday, you need to come with us immediately," the boy said.
"Don't speak to him in that manner, I'm sorry, but want the young master said is true, you have to come with us now, and you can have the sword" the guard said.
The girl just stood there looking at them, even the players including Max and Gabriel were now confused, they thought Alex was some kind of hunter and the ruler wants to see him.
The seller quickly took the sword off the display and handed it over to Alex, Alex had no choice but to take the sword then he was led outside of the building.
"The mansion is this way Sir" the guards led Alex away.
"Is he going to be okay?" Gabriel asked Max.
"Don't worry, he's level 12 now...if he dies he would just restart five levels back, it's not that bad" Max chuckled.
"Why are you laughing, do you want him to die?" Gabriel said as he stare at Max with a murderous glare.
"No...I don't want him to die" Max quickly said and backed off a little.
"I'm just joking, it was pretty funny watching him, I thought he was going to be killed here in the shop, but he somehow survives it only to be taken back to where he finally going to be killed...hey are you scared?"
"You are scary both in-game and in real life" Max pouted.
"Hey, is your friend going to be okay, I know it's him," a player said to Max.
"Don't worry about him, he's definitely going to die, let's leave, we'll come back tomorrow so I can get a weapon" Max said.
Max and Gabriel walked out of the shop and proceeded towards the potion shop to see if they could find a spell book for Gabriel.
The guards were in front of Alex and [Hunt] was at his back, the two in front were level 50 so there was no way he could escape them, he just needed to play smart if he wants to survive.
As the guards led Alex, people were staring at him, since he wasn't tied up then he was a visitor, and finally they arrived at the ruler's mansion.
Alex saw the huge house in front of them and was surprised, this wasn't a mansion, it was a palace.
Alex could see the main house from outside of the gate, two guards were standing in front of the gates and as soon as they saw them, they quickly opened the gates letting them in.
The large mansion was separated from the rest of the city, it was built close to the city walls and no other house was close to it, it was surrounded by plants and trees.
As soon as they walked into the compound, Alex was jaws dropped beneath his mask, in the real world he currently lived in, Alex hasn't seen a mansion like this before.
There were wealthy people in the world who owned mansions like this but Alex was never connected with people like this so he was surprised at the size of the house.
The compound alone was large enough to fit twenty houses, the ground was covered in grasses except for a straight path that lead to the mansion, the path was decorated with shiny stones that sparkle slightly under the sun.
Guards were stationed almost everywhere in the mansion, a guard ran to greet them as soon as they walked in.
"Young master, young lady, the master is looking for both of you, the Hunter has arrived and he's inside the mansion" the guard who ran towards them spoke.
"The Hunter...but the Hunter is right here with us" Hunt spoke.
"What are you saying, the Hunter is inside now speaking with the master"
"Then who did we bring in" Hunt turned around but Alex was quick.
Luckily the gates were still open so he quickly dashed outside of the mansion, the guards at the gates were surprised as Alex ran away.
"Get that imposter..." Hunt shouted and the guards at the gate quickly turned towards Alex.
