"We should get stronger before that time, and buy good equipment"
"You are right, then we should give you all the plants so you can collect the reward"
The rest of them opened their inventories and brought out all the moonlight plants they gathered from the forest, after all the plants were handed to Alex, they continued forward.
The leaves together were total of 40 pieces meaning they would easily get 40,000 coins for them, that is if the man in the potion shop has enough money to buy them all.
"Where is the arena located?" Gabriel asked.
"We can just check the map, why are you asking," Max said.
"Don't you guys think someone powerful would also be participating in the tournament, I've seen lots of people with levels higher than all of us combined" Rebecca said worriedly.
"They are NPCs you don't have to worry about them," Alex said.
"Why not? They were also looking at the information and some of them were planning to participate" Rebecca said.
"Wait... she's right, the NPCs in this game consider themselves as humans so if the Lord of the city is offering such an amount, many people would try their luck," Max said.
"If the NPCs participate, we won't be able to beat any of them, their levels are insanely high, we'll need badass equipment and we have none," Gabriel said.
"We don't know for sure, but we'll see during the arena," Alex said.
The group finally arrived at the market street, now it was not as packed as the first time Alex visited, most of the people there were NPCs only a few players were around.
They walked straight to the potion shop and opened the door only to hear loud shouting coming from the counter.
Two players were standing there shouting at the seller for some reason and the seller was apologizing.
The players turned around and saw the four of them coming in, they hissed and stopped.
"He doesn't have anything so don't bother," the player said to Alex who was in front.
"I'm not here to buy anything" Alex replied.
"Then what are you here to do?" the player asked.
"A quest" Alex spoke and the seller who had sat down behind the counter immediately stood up to see Alex's face.
He immediately remembered that he gave a quest to Alex, but he wasn't sure if Alex completed the quest or not, the seller quickly rushed toward Alex.
"Did you find the plants?" the seller asked.
"Yes, I found them and retrieved a bunch of them," Alex said.
The two players were staring at Alex and the seller in surprise, instead of leaving they wanted to know what was happening as both of them were smiling.
The seller opened the back door he had and called Alex in, Max, Gabriel, and Rebecca also followed Alex behind, and the two players immediately joined them.
The room they entered was bigger than the shop itself, thousands of empty potion bottles sat on shelves that were on the left side of the room.
The seller brought out a large wooden bucket with a smile on his face, he filled half of the bucket with a black liquid and then he stood up.
"How many of the leaves did you get," the seller asked.
"I got about 40 of them," Alex said.
"40!! which undead did you find there?" the man asked.
"What! you knew we would find undead warriors there, why didn't you tell me about them?" Alex asked angrily.
"If I had told you, would you have gone?" the man asked.
"So you sent me to bring you some leaves, knowing fully well that I wouldn't survive," Alex said.
"But you did, and you are going to get rewarded, most people I sent end up bringing one or two leaves, that is if they survive," the man said.
"Just give me the reward, 1000 blue coins for each leaf, that means a total of 40,000 coins," Alex said and the players that entered with them were shocked.
"40,000 coins for a bunch of plants!"
"A bunch of plants, do you know what we had to go through to get the bunch of plants," Gabriel said to the player.
"What are you guys even doing here, you should leave," the seller said to the other two players who were shouting at him earlier for not having any potions to sell.
"We'll leave, what is the use of the plants he got that is worth 40,000 coins?" one of the players asked.
"The leaves of the plants are required in making potions, so if you can wait a few days all the potions would be ready, and you can go," the seller said to both of them.
The players shrugged and scoffed before heading outside, then they exited the shop and the seller went towards the front door and put a sign outside before closing the door, he returned to the room quickly.
The seller smiled and went to one end of the room, he bent down and carried a chest, then he brought the chest to the center of the room and brought out a key from his pocket.
"Wait...I haven't gotten the leaves yet" the seller said.
Alex opened his inventory and brought out the leaves, a large table was in the room and he placed the leaves there while the seller and his friends counted the leaves.
"Okay..." the man said as he confirmed the number of leaves Alex brought.
The man bent down and opened the chest he brought out earlier and the group stood there in shock, the amount of coins in the chest would be more than 500,000 coins.
"Woah... that's a lot of money," Gabriel said.
"Yes, it's for business, the leaves you brought today would be able to make at least 200 bottles of different potions, and I can make at least 200,000 coins from selling them," the man said.
"200,000 coins from selling them, and you are giving us only 40,000 coins, and we almost died," Rebecca said in a loud voice.
"We had an agreement," the man said.
"Then we don't want to sell them anymore," Rebecca said.
"Just let him be Rebecca, even if we keep the plants, we would have to find another potion shop to sell them," Max said.
"Just give us the coins so we'll be on our way" Alex requested and the man handed him the coins.
Alex distributed the coins among his group, each of them was handed 10,000 coins and they exited the potion shop.

The notification came up as Alex exited the potion shop.
"That cheater, why am I the only one who is angry, isn't that cheating" Rebecca spoke.
"We can't do anything about it so you should just let it go, on the bright side we can buy lots of items with 10,000 coins," Gabriel said.
"Where should we visit first" Gabriel continued.
"We already visited all the shops around so the only place we can go is the merchant shop, new equipment, and items always arrive at the merchant shop" Max spoke.

'Looking good, all that's left is good equipment and then more level up, we'll need to visit the next big city so we can get better equipment'
Alex had a total of 30,680 coins, he got 3000 coins from the paladin Max killed so he shared the coins with Max, both of them took 1500 each.
"Where should we visit first?" Max asked Alex and the rest of them faced him.
"Why are you guys looking at me like that"
"You are the leader, so where should we go next" Rebecca spoke.
"Okay, as the leader all of you should submit your coins to me," Alex said and the group burst into laughter.
"If we get to a bigger city, we should consider opening a guild," Max said.
