Chapter 138 138 Bandits Camp [Part 1]

"I'm sure you have a plan right cause this is suicide no matter how you look at it, the men down there are too many and who knows if they have more hiding in the houses" Lynx spoke as he sat down.

"We counted and they were 88 in total, even though we still have the element of surprise, we'll wait and attack them at night quietly without alarming the rest of them" Alex spoke.

"I hope you didn't forget that we are not assassins right, this guy is a mage and his spells would surely set the place on fire alarming the rest of them, I'm a marksman so once I kill one of them, the whole camp would be alarmed," Lynx said.

"Then we move in quietly, without you guys using your weapons, we'll need to take down two at a time and I can't do it alone"

"I have a dagger just in case but it deals low damage even when I hit vital spots" Lynx spoke.

"Then use that instead, I can blend into darkness so it's easy for me to take down most of the men, and they'll be in the hut at night with only a few patrolling"

"Then after killing the guards patrolling, we'll take each house one after the other," Gabriel said.

"Sounds like a plan, but plans like this usually fail, you know right," Max said.

"You are right but we'll make ours a success, even if we fail, we should at least rescue the girls first," Alex said.

"Have you found their location?" Lynx asked.

"Yes, along with Zen their leader, if the plan is successful then we'll kill him too and free all the ladies and girls there"

"With the reward we were offered, I'm such other players have tried what we did too but didn't succeed," Max said.

"Yeah, I'm sure but let's see if we are going to succeed, if we fail we lose five levels, but if we succeed, we level up and gain points for increasing our stats"

"Then we should keep spying on them till nighttime," Gabriel said as the four of them lay on the ground looking at the bandits.

The bandits didn't do much, all they did was guard the camp, eat, and train with their fellow bandits, all of them had weapons and a training ground where they could test their skills against themselves.

Some of the men took girls indoors and came out sweating with large smiles on their faces, it was obvious what they did with the girls, some of the girls there cooked while some of them washed the clothes of the bandits.

Most of the girls were captured when traveling, and this was not their only hideout, Alex was sure they had other hideouts apart from this location.

"Is it me or are they much, we should count them again" Gabriel said to Alex.

"I'll count the girls," Max said.

"Then I'll stay here doing nothing," Lynx said.

The four of them stood there for some time and soon it was already night time, the bandits placed torches at each house and the ones patrolling had torches in lanterns in their hands as they walked around.

At night there were 20 patrolling guards guarding every location while the rest of them were in their huts doing stuff, the girls were still in Zen's hut so they had to defeat the bandit leader before saving the girls.

'I should increase my agility and stealth, now I miss my cloak' Alex mumbled as his stats came up.

"We should move now," Alex said and they ran sideways, from where they stood if they jumped down then their deaths were certain so they had to go around.

The group ran for over twenty minutes before finally reaching their location, now they were few steps away from entering the bandit's camp.

From where they were two guards were stationed there, out of the twenty guards, ten were stationed while the other ten moved around.

The four of them hid behind a large tree as they thought of a way to get passed the guards.

"We should cause a distraction, they may come close, or Alex can you take them down?" Max asked.

"No, they are standing close to the houses and the torches are ridiculously bright" Alex sneered.

"Then what should we do?"

"We should cause a distraction then Alex would take them out," Lynx said.

"How would we cause a distraction, by rustling bushes or what," Gabriel said.

"Yes, they may think it's a rabbit or a wolf or something else," Max said.

"Wait, we didn't even think of beasts, wolves are more active at night according to the rider, we should be careful," Alex said and the four of them turned around.

"You think a wolf is going to pop out behind us?" Gabriel asked Alex.

"You can never rule out the possibility, you never know, on a different topic have any of you checked the time in the real world?" Alex asked.

"No we haven't...shit one of the guards is walking towards us" Lynx snorted.
