Chapter 2603: Freaky Twins II

“Jasd, let’s not hold back anymore; let’s not hold back anymore; the sooner we kill, the quicker we will be free to deal with normal enemies,” said Rasd as it pointed the weapon at me.

“Sure!” replied Jasd, and the powerful aura burst of them as they came as me while activating their abilities. An extremly dense blue color energy covered the Rasd Saber while movements of Jasd became blinky; it seemed to be appearing and disappearing, making it really hard to track its movements.

“Die, human!”

Both of them shouted as they appeared close to me and attacked at the same time; this time, the power and the speed of attack were off the charts.

‘Third Burst!’

The vast power of the third burst filled my body, and I moved my sword to defend while activating my sensory abilities to their limit.

Even half a minute hadn’t passed, and I had activated the third burst already; there had been only a handful of enemies that had pushed me to such limits. It is very hard, even for those with great advantage over me, considering I am very good at defending.

But against them, my defense is crumbling like an aged wall; these two are very experienced and seem to be capable of seeing the flaws with a glance before targeting them accurately.

CLANNNG!

My sword clashed against the huge saber of the Rasd, and with it came the tsunami-like energy which wanted to freeze everything. It had covered me in an instant before it started to drill inside me; I did not care for it, as I knew that no matter how dangerous it was, my armor would deal with it.

I am focusing on dodging the attack, which seemed to follow me as it blinked around its position; while others may have a hard time tracking it and its weapons, I do not.

I could see every movement of it clearly and know which body part of mine the attack is targeting, but despite knowing that, I had a hard time dodging the attack.

CLANNNG!

I was able to move my sword on time to stop its ax, but just as I did, I found Rasd saber coming at my neck at a really fast speed, and dodging it without a cost would be a problem.

“Fuck!”

Suddenly, it cursed and changed the direction of its attack, moving close to its feet, where I heard a soft sound and pierce string became visible before it had floated away with the air.

“You are really sneaky, aren’t you human?” it asked, and before the blue aura covering it became even denser and came at me with greater fury.

I moved my sword to defend my moving my body to dodge the blinking attack of the Jasd, once again accomplishing that with a breath of inches before moving to deal with another attack.

A second later, the string again made the appearance, this time to save me but trying to wrap around them before getting cut by their blades. I needed to make it appear randomly, so it seemed random, and if I had to make it appear when I was in danger, they would know it was obvious.

So, I continued fighting, and for a few seconds, with the help of strings, I was faintly able to relax, but soon a horror couldn’t help but dawn on me when I noticed these two learning my combat style and adjusting according to it.

It couldn’t scare the shit out of me; I know how difficult this thing is as I do the same and still do that, but it takes time, tens of minutes. The combat style of Grandmaster and above powerhouses is not easy to analyze, but these bastards already doing that when it is not even a minute since the battle had begun.

‘Just what kind of luck are these bastards born with,’ I screamed in my heart as I was able to dodge the attack by hair breath.

“Rip!” I had just dodged Rasd’s attack when Jasd invaded my sword and landed its attack on my hand. He would have taken my whole hand, if not for my armor’s extremly strong defenses and quick reaction.

Rip Rip Rip

That was just the beginning; two seconds later, another attack cut my armor, and then another second later before two attacked a second after that.

These bastards are getting better and better; each attack them is reaching closer and closer and closer to my fatal point that I fear that I wouldn’t be able to live more than a minute.

Twenty seconds passed by, and now it seemed like my armor is in tattered; it had ripped into nearly a hundred places, and if it were not for me starting to bulk up the armor for the better defense after the first rip, their attacks would have already ripped my body apart.

Still, with the progress they are making, that time isn’t far away.

A few more seconds passed when suddenly, an explosive aura shot out of Rasd’s body, so powerful that I would be only able to deal with only with the final burst.

“Brother, its time,” said Rasd and moved, and with it, Jasd also moved with a similarly powerful aura that made all the body on my hair stand up.

Before I could even blink and my expressions could fully morph into horror, both of them appeared beside me side by side, and their weapons, were just inches away from taking my legs and neck; it had happened so fast that I was barely able to react.

Though I still made the strings visible on their body. This time, it did not do anything; it did not even make them blink.

“You will be dead before your strings could do anything to us,” said the Jasd with mock as the blade of both of them touched my armor.

“Really?” I asked as the horror on my face disappeared instantly, and at the same time, it appeared on their faces as weapons froze, and they froze with them before they disappeared.

“Zaaar!”

The very next second, I heard the scream from above; it was Grasta who screamed and burst out with an aura that scared the shit out of me and moved to come at me, covering a huge distance in a fraction of seconds, before suddenly stopping as two of her pitched back glass staff sword appeared in front of it, pouting their sharp ends at its fatal spots.

“Your enemy is me, Grasta, and you should focus on me, or you won’t even survive for ten minutes,” said the Grand Commander while she effortlessly fought with two Grimms controlling the two black glass staff swords.

“Today, you will die, Zaar,” said Grasta before turning back toward the Grand Commander.

The power of the Grand Commander had truly shocked me. I have read about Grasta and know shockingly powerful it is, but she is handling it just fine with two of her glass swords while the other two glass swords handling two Grimms.

She is not even using her full power, considering she has six staff swords, and there are two she still hasn’t taken out yet.
