Chapter 2621: Blood And Fire

“Thank you, elder sister,” said the Grand Commander; the last runes seeped back inside her. Lady Vivian nodded and removed the film of mirror energy around her before turning toward me.

“Grandmaster, let me help you with the energy,” Said Lady Vivian as she appeared in front of me. “There is no need, Grand Lord; I have it under control. You should help others; I don’t think they have much time before the lunar frost truly begins to harm them,” I said, producing the sound through my energy.

The frost had still gripped my body hard, and I would need three to four hours before I could get rid of it completely, but I was able to release some of it from my soul, which is affected much less than my body by the frost and energies working harder on it than my body.

I have recovered enough that I could use some of my soul energy and internal energy, though I am still weak enough that I wouldn’t even be a match for Grandmaster in my current condition.

“You never seemed to amaze me, Grandmaster,” she said and turned toward others, and I wished I could smile, but I could only look at her with a horrified face, which was the last expression I had before, I was frozen away by the lunar frost.

“My apologies, Grandmaster. If I could control it, I could have never let it happen,” said Grand Commander, looking very guilty.

“It is not your fault Grand Commander, that power is really hard to control, especially in your condition,” I said; she was startled a little before nodding.

She turned toward Lord Whitmore and began talking to him while I focused on Lady Vivian, who was focused on healing Lady Redhorn.

She is using the extracting method, which I also prefer. This approach is more efficient and safer than destroying the energy, which will harm the body. She is extracting the lunar energies into the glass sphere that she had conjured; when it is finished, I will ask her for that sphere.

This lunar frost will be very useful in my project.

A few seconds later, a frown appeared on the face of Lady Viviana, and she opened her eyes and turned to me.

“The frozen energies have gone quite deeper inside Lady Redhorn; I could not extract it. I could destroy it, but it will injure her,”

“Do you have any safer way, Grandmaster?” she asked. It is not surprising that while her mirror energies are powerful, they are not suitable for dealing with these kinds of things.

Not to mention, she needs to use a different approach in extracting the lunar frost energies that went too deep, as all three High Grandmasters are different meta-physically.

“Yes, I have it,” I said, and a few seconds later, three formation disks along with three sets of resources appeared in front of me. I tweaked the formation a little according to their meta-physiques, and I am pretty accurate considering I have their live meta-scans.

Earlier, I was able to seep my seeds inside them; I had to use quite a powerful measure to reinforce the seed to bear the lunar frost energy, but I was able to do that.

I had sent the reinforced seed to even Star Crockman, but the lunar frost covering it was too powerful that my seed had got destroyed the moment it had reached it, which is quite regrettable considering the resources I had spent on reinforcing it.

“These formations and resources will help them get rid of the lunar front, and please call Grandmaster Charline; she will administer their treatment,” I said. The lunar energy is quite dangerous and will need a very skillful healer to be in charge to deal with any kind of emergency that will come.

A minute later, Grandmaster Charline had appeared; by that time, Lady Vivian had already finished extracting all the lunar frost energy she could extract safely from the three high-Grandmasters.

“Grandmistress…” I began explaining to her; she looked at me curiously but did not ask questions as she disappeared with the three High-Grandmasters.

“Grandmaster Zaar, will you be coming to central command or resting?” asked the Grand Commander after Grandmaster Charline left. “If you don’t mind, then I will be joining you in the central command, Grand Commander,” I said.

She just nodded, and teleportation formation covered us, and a second later, we appeared in the central command, which is completely covered in the screens of battles; they are showing not only the battles of seven forts we had attacked, nearly hundreds of others battles, where millions are fighting.

“Lord of Glass, Grand Commander,” all four council members stood up.

“There is no need to be formal,” said Lady Vivian as she took the head seat while the projection of the former Lord of glass sat beside her, with Grand Command sitting on the opposite end of the table.

While I stayed awkwardly on my spot, bearing expressions of horror, thankfully, no one said anything as all of them were focused on the battles.

I quickly focused on the battles and immediately got surprised by the things I saw. I had been grossly wrong about the strength of the council, it is not just Grand Commander that was hiding her strength, but all of them, each and every one of them who is fighting the battlefield has the strength of a quasi-Grand Lord.

I am sure the four that are sitting here with their real bodies are also quasi-Grand Lords; it was really shocking. It is not like I had not expected this; I was very sure two or three council members were quasi-Grand Lords, but never in my dream I had imagined all of them would have such strength.

“The Grimms really were hiding their true forces; if we had not used nearly all our strength, this would have ended up disastrously,” said the Grand Commander as she looked at the battles on the screens.

The Grimms have not only brought a huge number of Grandmasters but there is also a considerable number of High Grand Masters and Quasi Grand Lords. If we had not gone nearly all out and the councilmen hadn’t been Quasi-Grand Lords, we would have been fucked.

“It is not just Grandmasters above powerhouses Grand Commander, but our levels powerhouses, especially who are part of the three projects, are also doing amazingly well,” said Lord Whitmore and showed the graph, with thousands of micro visuals.

I had taken very big risks, which was opposed by the six councilmen and two Grand Lords, but I decided to do it.

I had sent 95% of the subjects of the project to the battlefields; many would not consider the wise choice, considering all the subjects of the project are the most talented people in the world, and each of them held the potential to reach the Master, and 55% posses the potential to become the Grandmasters.

These should be treasured and protected till they reach their potential, but I disagree with it.

The potential is important, but there is one thing that is even more important, and that is a will. The battle would give them the chance to forge their will in blood and fire, those who will come out of it alive; will have a far greater chance of achieving their potential than those that are sheltered.
